I think Cavill is the perfect example of a true nerd, with his interests in Warhammer 40 000 and the like, being unexpected in the Hollywood spotlight. People laugh it off when he says he plays World of Warcraft and paints Warhammer miniatures, not realizing it's a huge part of his personality. I think this perhaps shows the remnants of the stigma around being a "nerd" before it became popularised through video games, and much like how the jocks were put off vy the D&D players in the 90s, Cavill is perhaps expected to be less nerdy by other Hollywood actors because of not only his physique but the simple fact that he made it as an actor.

He's still single because ladies finds out he is a nerd when they date him lol. He just need to find himself a beautiful nerd woman Edit:, this deserve more likes!

I agree with Cavill.... even flirting now can be interpreted as harassment...Even the old fashioned, silly, cheesy flirts now are considered harassment if the person it's not attracted to you. If you are attractive is flirting, if you are average or ugly is harassment.

People always start raising eyebrows when someone eligible is single. Why not ask a married person "Why are you married?"?

He doesn't need people to feel sorry for him, the worst feeling is someone pitying on you just because you don't fit in their expectations. What's the problem in being single? Is that a sin or a crime?Does that hurt people around so much? I think everyone should take care of their own business. He's definitely an ambivert, he can be extroverted when he needs to be but very introverted most of the time. He needs someone who can appreciate that part of him as well as be able to take the backlash with his fame. That is a very fine line. If you are to date Henry you have to be prepared for that. It can be hard for everyone involved. That level of fame is daunting for many, and especially for people who are more introverted. The people who are more extroverted don't do well with him just wanting to be at home, and those more introverted don't do well with fame. He needs to date an ambivert like himself, and one who is on his particular schedule.

Being single has its moments. Better stay single and be happy until you finde someone that makes you feel that your single life has less meaning in comparison with your relationship with them.

I'm kinda in the same boat. It's hard to find someone AFTER you've achieved and done things. They don't see the hard work, they only see the results and it's kind of a turnoff. You want someone who was with you during the struggle so they appreciate how hard it was to get the things they see around them.

I feel it’s so hard to date now days. People let politics take over there hearts in a negative way. And you have to be so careful with STDs etc. and on top of all of that being a celebrity you have to watch out for people that are not genuine. They just want to get close to you for the brag or see if they can date you. I personally love the old fashioned ways of dating and marriage. I know a few handsome introverted English young men who are into Warhammer 40K. It was an alternative social network in schools for the nerdy by temperament, but many of them did sports on the side such as rugby or rowing. A couple of them would make very fine actors if they had that kind of ambition. It isn't that unusual here in the UK.

Personally I found staying single immensely more satisfying and made me happier than trying to deal with a relationship. Far less stress., plus I can do what I want when I want and however I want without hassle.

I became totally infatuated with him when I saw him in the series the Tudors! Yes us older women can appreciate a very good looking man! I think he’s still single because he knows he has many choices outside of settling but I think perhaps his relationships end because he has way way too many requirements of what type of woman he will date! Once you start expecting anything other then the person you’ve become attracted to & start trying to mold them into what you expect over who they are? Then it’s an ingredient to failure! Yes we all want certain things & if you meet someone with similar values & aspirations that is a bonus but many in todays society don’t make a relationship into “us” but more so into “me” & in doing that they lose the very person they were initially attracted to! There’s nothing wrong with compromise or certain likes but he seems to expect a lot to be what he sees so in a way he wants to date a woman too similar to himself & the fact is opposites do attract & often those are the unions that are longer term! Wanting too similar can in itself cause friction as the other person can only be who they are! Ever noticed many today say “my” relationship when they are referring to their partner & themselves? In a way I think they are subconsciously saying mine because they are wanting more so what they want over seeing it as a team effort! If you pay attention you’d notice they are mostly the ones more likely to fail! People who say “our” relationship are already seeing it as two! That mindset can truly make a huge difference in an outcome! I think he has ( by what he says in many of the interviews) decided to mould into his life what he perceives as workable instead of seeing where the initial attraction can go? Life love sex involves two completely unique persons entering into each other’s personal domain! Unless there’s absolutely no common attraction then it could fail as let’s be honest we are initially attracted to the shell of a person & some of their traits but there’s so much more to everyone & we constantly change as human beings! Far too often you get two people together who have lots to offer one another but then one person decides they will change them into what they see as the perfect partner! Once you try changing anyone you’ve lost the very person you came to be attracted toward! So unless he’s willing to drop his expectations to allow whoever he meets to show him whether she’s the one he can appreciate he will never know if they are who he wants long term!

It shouldn't be so hard to believe that some people are just that perfectly content with themselves and their freedom that comes with focusing solely on you.

I don't understand why people would generate rumours about somebody's sexuality or "relationship problems" based on them being single. It's just ridiculous. I'm happily married (my wife tells me :-) ) but I have a friend in his 50's who has had relationships with more women than I've had hot dinners, he's happy, his ex-girlfriends never have a bad word to say about him so does that imply he's gay or has "relationship issues"? Not that it would matter anyway, but if I looked like Henry and was as financially secure as him, if I hadn't met my wife already, I would probably make the most of the situation. Not everyone is focused on finding somebody to marry. What's wrong with enjoying the company of a number of partners and enjoying your time together in the relationship?
