Coming from an IRL trader 1. Don't Trust price of booster cookie. That 14,000 realistically is only worth around 3k, its clickbait. 2. Coming from only a small portion of experience, it's not like i was a big seller, the most coins i've sold to one person is 4.5b in 3 transactions. People don't spend that money on just items 3. The people that do spend that money are the ones that buy straight accounts not just a chestplate 4. No one spends that money on booster cookies unless their a crypto lord. Just watched someone with 500k in btc gamble away 30k and no way in a million years is he buying booster cookies 5. If you do irl trade that much you'll get wiped and there goes your 3k It's a good vid idea just a little clickbait. I'm thinking about creating a video about IRL trading and stuff like that in the pov of someone that has experienced it not just from some person who wants views like most the youtubers do. If you happen to read this lemme know what you think.
The fact that one guy messaged his mom to simply get his skins back was genius not to mention that the mom actually gave the minecraft account details lol
The switch to skyblock seems like a really good change for your channel! Although I will miss the pit content, anything with your editing is going to be great!
difference is, the latter 3 have inherent value, for example csgo skins are tied to csgo and they cost keys and crates to open, which is why csgo skins still are expensive and nfts flopped
I seen that red bat set sell for less than 2b when the original owner put it up for sale. He originally wanted I think 800 usd before hand for the set then eventually gave up on trying to get that price.
This is actually one of my favourite skyblock videos ever. It’s turned me from joking about how people buy dyed leather into somehow making me want to buy them 💀
"how much does superior armor cost" "a few millions" "then why is this 1 20b" "because it's a different color" "doesn't that make skyblock players stupid" "ha ha ha, it sure does"
I remember i left hypixel community a while ago around 2021 but once in a while i used to join to play bedwars and I remember at some point i was playing and got a friend request from someone who turned out wanted to buy my armor in on skyblock. It was an Old Dragon's Armor or Wise... I don't even remember properly but it was recolored and the new color was red and bro tried to buy it for 50M coins, then he changed for 200M and i told him I am not interested. Soon after, I kept getting messages and friend requests all about my armor and each time I was like "neeh. It's special to me. I cannot give it" even thought i stopped playing skyblock and hypixel in general a time ago, but like until i saw this video I never understood what's special about it lmao
i own a dyed farmer set and i treasure it. i've had it since armor was dyable (because one of my friends dyed it for me) and then i left hypixel. and joined back this year i dont use it anymore but i keep it in a valuables chest. because it is my most valuable armor that i own
Its so funny all of those mega expensive exotics will never be sold without duped or irl traded coins being involved. They literally cant trade them without getting themselves nuked
"Sharking is the art of" is not what I would say. It's absolute scamming lol. I used to trade tf2 items and the community there would ban sharks from trading (if you traded with marked people, you were also marked by the community). It's one thing if someone lists something for low, but it's another thing if you say "It's not worth that much" while paying someone way less than it's worth.
I used to have one piece from which only 2 existed. I think it was squid boots, combined with a guardian chestplate and stereo pants in the same color I sold it for 850m, probably like 5-7b today
pretty happy that i was smart and sold my dark green magma armor for 1bil, i was pretty curious on why i kept getting party invites in hub lobbies so i did some digging. stumbled upon exotic cafe and sold it there. now i got a pretty good start after coming back to skyblock
ngl, i couldn't continue cus the first few seconds i was thinking "there's no way people are getting so pressed over something that you can easily make yourself"
Awesome video, can I ask why you changed your name tho? Maybe I’m missing something but it seemed like you introduced yourself with a name different than your channel name
this situation reminds me a lot of unusuals from tf2. you have a set of somewhat basic items that are given collector's worth just by how aesthetically pleasing they look, and it's kinda stupid if you think about it. but pretty cool nonetheless
I wonder how expensive my complete set of white Lapis Armor is nowadays, seeing as different colored armor pieces seem to be very highly sought after...
I wish saw this long ago… I have a dyed superior dragon set which is dyed orange. I never thought much of it because I was never big in the community. I haven’t played sky block for years now so and I play minecraft servers like 4 times a year now. Imma go to my sky block Island rq Edit: I also had zero friends on my account at that time lol Edit2: Now I got 2 friends that has never play sky block
I have some exotics from way back when and they aren't particularly valuable, but I still regularly get people finding a way to contact me and trying to snipe me. It is slowly driving me insane.
one fish two fish red fish blue fish. the fish dupe let players dupe fish. to a dish a fish into two requires a wish from you. through the wifi you cant deny a supply of fish will multiple. but soon sigh, cry, and say goodbye after minikloon said whoop went boop to the dupe.
Ooh boy, what a wonderful world of pretty glitched armor! I sure hope nobody uses exotics for market manipulation, irl trading and other horrific activities! 😁
its the same thing that people use the purchase and selling of expensive artwork for in real life, along with a plethora of other things that you dont seem to have a problem with
