You may be correct. But, it also just might not grow on MOAB paths, I'm guessing.

I have tried. That is actually the case. If you buy spirit mid round, it will start planting vines on the Moab path.

Like he was saying that 025 Permaspike has 50 spikes per pile (the amount one pile can pop) and was saying that it was sad that the 205 didn't have a 100 spikes per pile, double, like it does for said upgrade : Bigger Stacks which makes piles goes from 5 spikes to 10.

025 has more than double damage of 205. This is because the spikes decay slower with even faster production. Coupled with the inevitable alchemist you'd give your 025, this leads to more spike production and more damage per pile.

@@capnlatenight5356 Too many people don't realize that 200 alch has full uptime because pspike attacks so slowly and unlike brew, it stacks, they're just like "but a MIB is too expensive though" to justify the dumb pspike

@@JonDoe-wk9qc pretty sure a mib costs about the same as a alchemist. Funny story, I used to think DDTs had the property of lead, black, and purple bloons. This made me use mib as my late game strat before I realized things like wizard and helicopter tier 5s can damage DDTs.

Yep and not to mention that perma-spike can hold damage value over several rounds. So the spike pile can eventually become really hard for the bloons to get past, until bloon ramping comes in and the DDT's are so fast that the game can't register that the spikes did all the damage.

@@shadowprince4482 Alch and Permaspike (or any other spactory, but strongest with the permaspike) synergize well, since if buff runs out, buffed spikes wont lose the buff.

No, it's pretty bad. The path to get up to glaive lord doesn't matter after round 50 when MOABs can tank the damage from MOAR glaives, and you still won't have glaive lord available in a normal CHIMPS game until the DOT damage from the rotating glaives doesn't actually matter anymore because it can't really pop BFBs+ unless it's on a really, REALLY long loop around. Spillway and Balance are the only maps where glaive lord really excels in, and even then, I'd rather be using Inferno Ring or Tack Zone.

I’ve black bordered a bunch of easy maps with glaive lord + sub com and shattering shells, it’s not that unviable

205 just takes too long to lay down spikes. Just make sure to buff the 025 with an alc so it can pop leads.

@@aidan8492 Perma is best. Apparently do a 0-2-5 but make sure to buff it with an alchemist so it can pop lead and ddt's.

It deals more damage per spike pile, but the problem is that it takes so long to build up (maybe half the speed or even less than that of the 025 permaspike). However, it only deals 40% more damage, and the spikes that you build up are probably going to time out before they're used, provided permaspike isn't your only defense. If permaspike is your only defense, then you should still opt for 025 because bloons are going to run through before your 205 has time to build up a spike pile again (although let's be real, permaspike/overclock is good, but you shouldn't be solely relying on it for your defense)

Permaspike spikes arent actually permanent. I'm pretty sure they disappear after 3 rounds. So 025 is much better

@@elliequeen6319 Wiki says 3 rounds or 300 seconds, whichever comes first. I feel like if it was 10 rounds it would be a bit broken haha
