Yes, that kind of rc toys are what our parents bought for us when we're just a kid..i also bought toy grade rc for my toddler..and that's what makes us loves rc..
The last minute of this vid is for real. Bought a WLtoys 12428 because I wanted to break things. Already broke things and fixed them now looking for upgrades to not break so much. Now I'm looking at higher end models. But I will say I love this car so far
Bought the hbx for my kid for Xmas, we both love it. Add extra wheel weight with wraps of solder around the rim helps stability. Mine climbs 54 degrees. Rc4wd tyre upgrade coming. Friend just got scx24 at over double the cost, we haven't had a competition yet!
I love my Devastator! I got it a few years ago when they came out. The only thing I've ever done to it is put RC4WD tires on it! They're taller and softer. I'd like to see you do a hobby grade build using the metal Jeep body and the cage!
I agree with the end of the video Kev! Get into the hobby before they are scared off by high end prices! Every hobby is expensive so it not bad in the grand scheme of things.
I love your channel. Love the honesty and the joy I see in ur eyes when ur playing with them. I'm wondering how I could start testing rc cars like you do. Could you help me out
@@KevinTalbotTV ok. What kind of things do I need to start with? Like running cars, and bashing, and just testing? I just really love the hobby and would love to have the opportunity to try out other types like you do! And thank you for getting back to me on this!!
Chase Tucker I’m no expert at all, and am probably not qualified to give advice, but I’d imagine do everything, don’t specifically do one thing with your cars, do a variety of different things, like bashing, reviewing etc. hope this helps, but once again I’m no expert
Dude try the axial scx24, tiny 24th scale crawler and it is really awesome :) I was wondering if I want to get into crawlers and this one makes me sure of it :)
The black one was the better one on all three of them I would say the black one would be worth the money to buy the little red one I would say is really for like a child to play with like in its room or like in its living room the black one it seems like that you'd be able to take that outside and be able to go through the grass and be able to go over rocks and stuff like that that one looks pretty cool. 😎😎
I saw this online and shock on the price. It said the first 1000 customers to preorder will get it for that price. It sounds to good to be true. Maybe someone can check it out.. 1/6 SUPER ROCK REY 4WD BRUSHLESS ROCK RACER RTR SALE $70.00 Regular price$276.00
How safe would you say it was ordering from banggood? I'm thinking you're not too worried since you feature a lot of products available there. By the way, it looks as though the Devastator is no longer shippable to the UK. Shame, as it's only £65 at the moment
Tonys Rc Tech hey Tony, yeah it’s pretty nimble for the money. I was looking for other shells for it but no luck! I never thought about a mod. Do you have a vid of it? I’ll go check..
Why did you change the thumbnail? I was scrolling RU-vid and saw the thumbnail during lunch at school and I was laughing my ass off and everyone was staring at me 😂
Hey kev... is there any way I could maby steal a part from one of ur broken Devstator for my broken gear on mine? It's also a part u can't buy anywhere
Hey kev glad you made this vid like I asked about! *so the other day I was ramping my rustler like 8ft high and it was fine but yesterday I drove it off of a 2ft drop and the shocj broke LOL*
The red devil don't even have enough power to spin the wheel under a lil bit of pressure bc of that it gets stuck on everything bc the tire just stops and won't spin
Ive got the new Devastator and it's brilliant. Ive done some real cool crawling with it. You didn't mention that now it comes with a li-po batterie and a light to say that it's charged.
Hi Kev, been watching your videos for a few weeks and must say I really enjoy them, especially the workshop and project ones. You're the first RU-vidr I've actually subscribed to so keep up the good work. I've just ordered one of these and wondered if you had any recommendations for upgrades. Little more speed is always nice. Cheers Stu
@@KevinTalbotTV yeah, I was thinking the wheels could do with being a smidge larger. I'm going to do some digging on motors too, maybe try a few different ones out. Anyway, as I say keep up the good work.
Have you done a review on scx24 1:24 scale. For the price $120 and it is hobby grade it is the most superior mini crawler. I have more fun with it than my scx10ii. The only thing I found it needed was the shocks lowered to the chassis to help clear the tire rub on the front fenders. To do that I had to drill small holes in the the chassis in the front. The rear had holes to use.
Mate the best cheap rc crawler I've ever bought is the ftx ravine it is so capable its mental for £100 I really dont think u can go wrong for price my sons absolutely love taking it out
