@@JPVariety the best way is effort because the more it cost it make the bigger the risk. we have to accept that hoyoverse is the big dog in the gacha safe they got six active games all making money with 5 more coming. we also have to be serious kuro games ain't changing shit in the gacha space it's about money and no new/ongoing gacha company is going to look at number 10 for tips. we need to stop comparing wuwa to genshin because last i checked multiple gacha games are ahead of wuwa and pgr. now fo your points in the video no ZZZ has far better animation and it's cast has their own combat animation so this isn't even a point for wuwa. genshin from early on after fixing their shit event style had events that last the whole patch with shorty ones lasting a week. i get your point i played gacha were events needed high level units and was unplayable for new players. in the end you can glaze wuwa and kuro but the money doesn't reflect that. yes the company won't shut down people saying that are stupid.
@@eddieboston6540 your first take is good but your 2nd take na Kuro changed aloot of things in gacha space thats because of their generosity if a new game launch and its generosity is same as genshin Its gona get flopped Now every company knows that they need to give there community support like kuro did to make game successful 😅😅
@@eddieboston6540and genshin events suck 😒 its nothing but same nokia shit unlike wuwa 90% of events are combat based and every event have a story behind it and every eevent is easy but challenging and rewords are worth your time
I literally left all games for Wuthering waves, been playing for months and got all the characters I wanted without spending a single cent. for me they are on top for sure!
Did you watch the resonator showcase video for the Shorekeeper? It’s still brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it… And the music still gives me chills… it’s pure cinema…wow. They really made fall in love for her… Can’t wait to see what Kuro is cooking for Camellya… I bet they will exceed our expectations as always… 👍🏻
@@JPVariety I guess Camellya in terms of personality is going to be the opposite type of Shorekeeper’s… Where Shorekeeper represents the true and graceful type of love. However, Camellya will be the wicked, manipulative and jealous type of girl… I’m just glad that the MC has amnesia though… cuz Camellya is a home-wrecker and she’s about to steal Rover from Shorekeeper… And in the battlefield though, I guess Camellya won’t be as powerful as Jinhsi, yet she’ll be way more fun to play, as we saw in the leaks for her play style and how sexy she looks in red hair and while she’s hanging in the the air on her strings… she’s going to be the Marylin Monroe of the black shores. And i guess in time she will get even stronger when they’ll release a good support for her…
@@eddieboston6540 What mistakes? Sure PGR is not profitable like its successor, but I'm not sure if its a mistake to cater 100% players' demands and they deliver it. The game's not everyone's cup of tea but still far from being a "mistake". If Kuro wanted profit only, PGR is not the game they should offer to their players. But, PGR is still around and kicking. I'm sure with Wuthering Waves, Kuro will be keep improving and make better quality experience and content.
nah this is bs, I love wuwa and i still play other gachas, I think people exagerate a lot when it comes to wuwa, it's a gacha game at the end of the day
NGl, I love Wuwa too, but it is a bit exaggerated. There are more generous gacha games out there; for instance, Wuwa only gives around 60 astrites for dailies, whereas games like Nikke provide at least 100 gems just for daily play, not to mention the additional rewards from deployments, weeklies, events, and more. So while Wuwa is fun, they aren't that generous. Interestingly, Wuwa is actually making a good amount of money despite the misinformation people spread online. This is good tho because it means they can improve the game with those funds.
@@kazuyakanbara1395 ikr, wuwa is such a awesome gacha game, but people need to chill, there are indeed way more generous gacha out there, granchase, epic7, nikke, snowbreak, browndust2, and there might be even more I just dont remember
not only wuthering waves but Snowbreak Containment Zone did the same thing too. Though their release was bad and their content is too fan service now, they are on the same boat with wuwa. Devs are listening and they are one of us
I hope all the success to WuWa. They don't need to worry about not being the "Genshin Killer" that everybody thought, the real Genshin Killer is Hoyoverse itself.
Wuthering waves is the best gasha game and as a players we can clearly see the potential behind it sooner of later the world of gasha will have a new controller a new mith also we have the advantage of starting the game first so yeah I agree
Oh definitely wuthering waves dont want their players to spend money, Luohuo wasnt put on Jiyan's banner for that reason am I right? They put it on that banner because they listen player's feedback and want the best for the players.
Bro gacha games are business and in a business you get discounts not get everything for free. And they listen theyvput youhu in shop you can buy youhu with 10 pulls and it will be on shop for more then 2 months 😅go search before you say anything
@@ZAIN-explorer I agree with that, how can you sustain the game if no one is spending, I never mentioned that it’s not a business, the only thing I’m doing is that I’m comparing it with other games in same genre and has the same playstyle. I’m talking out of experience
Depends of what kind of players we're talking about, some wanted her on SK's banner because they don't wanna roll on Jiyan's banner while others want her on Jiyan's because they want people to roll on that banner so it wouldn't flop too hard. For those who doesn't want to get Jiyan because they already have him RC6..... surely they can afford to spend 80 corals for her, and she'll be available on the coming banners anyway.
For me is if Azur promila ends up being more fun game. Its kinda strange as hentai for that game doesnt seem to exist. At least i dont find any Terara mods.
This is a bit of an exaggeration, no? As of right now, Love and Deepspace as absolutely overdone any performance metric over Wuthering Waves. I'd say its LnD having an active effect on the gacha space. Not WW. Estimated revenue, estimated monthly playercount, (7 million over 4 million, mostly in China.) and faster update/banner cycles of 10 days over 3 weeks. Not to mention with how poor Kuro's marketing's been, LnD's also beaten them (Genuinely infuriates me how poor WW's marketing has been). I think Kuro needs to fix their player retention rate. Its nowhere near Genshin and even ZZZ's beating it on how many people are choosing to stick around with it. Their 6 week patches have less content than a Genshin 5 week patches (In otherwords, there are too much dead periods, not enough events to pad those times).
IDK anything about this LnD game but i’m going to assume it’s not even in the same genre. The fact they can have updates more quickly tells me it’s not even open world nor does it require as much work to update the game.
@@DeJaVu804 genre has nothing to do on whether something having an effect on the gacha sphere. If you posted this reply 4 years ago, Genshin by your own logic was not the same genre as then popular gacha games back in 2020 september when it released. And yet, look what genshin's done. We have Wuthering waves, Arknights Endfield, NTE, Azur Pomellia, even Project Mugen are coming out as fully fleshed out games thats more than the 80% menu scrollers we had back in 2020. That was gacha redefining. And with how many people go off saying they hate genshin, this statement gets more and more true. Clearly, LnD is doing something right. There is clearly something to learn from, just like how devs 4 years ago learned from Genshin copying the BOTW style.
@@oyshikaadi9631 you went way off topic there bud. I was talking about updates or new content release. If the game does not require as much time to develop then of course they are able to pump them out sooner.
If wuthering ware win to all game, Tenant company will take them down with serious method. ALSO, some company already plan for game with no pity gocha system in the beta test in Chinese company. ****
@@JPVariety i like nikke because the main story and the girls. But they update mainstory once per half year. Bored to hell man.. While wuwa always give us cinema almost everypatch 🤣 I didn play gacha games justnforndoing dailies haha.
@@shaka2tu I believe that if you consistently complete your daily tasks in NIKKE, you can save enough for limited and anniversary characters. Since the main story chapters release slowly, I prefer not to engage too competitively in the game. However, I think NIKKE is still more generous than Wuwa; NIKKE provides over 200 gems per day just from completing dailies and sending out deployments. Instead of completely dropping NIKKE, I suggest playing it on the side while focusing on Wuwa as your main game. Playing gacha games doesn’t always have to revolve around spending money. If you're not heavily invested in a game, it’s best not to spend any. I’m over level 200 in NIKKE, and the only time I spent money was on the Marian and Crown costumes during the 1.5 anniversary.
@@kazuyakanbara1395 im bored doing the daily. for a half year i just did the daily waiting for mainstory? i am level 402, light spender. the game just didn bring me joy, it is boring. i was top 10 pvp but not anymore, on top 100 onion guild but soon not anymore. i will wait anniversary and im done, its not burnout.. it just lack of something interesting.
I love these > Wuthering Waves ruining X, Y and Z on the gacha scene. And then you look at stats > - Constantly the lowest amount of views on twitch amongst the big ones. - Has the lowest google searches in trends. - Makes the least amount of money every single month. - Every big content creator dropped covering the game cuz no one watches any content for it. Yeah man, really ruining it for the gacha games…
You seem to be a player that only likes games because its popular even tho its predatory monetization, pay to win ,fomo and treats their community like sht. Go with the crowd i guess 😅 Atleast the story is good right?
@@kizuki2650Just ignore these people. These are not gamers but rather lonely people who only plays popular games so they can keep up with what's trendy so they can feel like they "belonged". I don't blame these sheeps for wanting to belong to a herd. They lack the capacity to think on their own, so they rely on popularity, revenue, Google searches data, viewers count, etc. to decide what they should and must like.
Neh its have the same formula with very long update cadence. You dont have to sugar coat as if they got the whole gacha world figured out. WuWA is just another Tower fantasy but with very bad story writing and Wall of Jargon... We going MC Amnesia Trope all over again and again. Even with the recent patch Shorekeeper is just a sad bland stalker waiting for MC to return pretending she so important....Still no clue what Blackshore mean to the MC whatsoever. Gameplay is just another quick swap mechanism with abilities with very ugly Echo system with pokemon collector ripoff. Imagine wasting 8-10 hrs just grinding the world just to get 0.1% decent stats this shows how abysmal the rates are for mid to end game content farming. The end game is a joke. You can sugar coat anything just to overhype same fallacy allover and over.
WuWa too me is dating simulation. We have the hoyo shill and their headcannons which are already hard to deal with but have calm down since the robin sexuality event. But WuWa it self is just dating simulation. NONE OF THE CHARACTERS HAVE A PERSONALITY. "OH ROVER PLEASE BE SAFE EVEN THOUGJ I MET U 2MINS AGO RETURN BACK SAFELY". YANGYANG has on of my favorite designs but her WHOLE personality is Rover, rover rover rover. They even have them sing happy birthday for you. Wuwa has amazing combat but the constant female cast always on rover's D likes its a theme park. Also shorekeeper's whole personality is rover and a piano.
I get the point, it does nothing new to the existing gacha space but it's less frustrating/predatory/grindy/fomo inducing compared to other games. Not only that, they also listened to players and introduced several qol changes to the game in the first 3 patches. Then the events that provides lot of upgrade materials to cut down on grinding results in more player satisfaction without making the game completely trivial. Also the game is skill first, grind second and meta third. Mainly with requiring to pay attention to enemies and bosses to dodge and attack on their openings.
I've been very busy these past few days so I could only play like 3-4 hours each week since 1.3 dropped. But I didn't really feel like I missed a lot even when I missed most of the double drop event
