Yet nobody will stop talking about how they don’t like the name and he should just be Steiner like you marks aren’t thinking about what bron breakker wants for Bron Breakker. Wrestling marks are selfish
man that spear looks like it would put a hole in your mid section not the prettiest looking spear but i would argue this is the most brutal looking one
TBf Solo chose to not use “ Uso or Fatu” in order to make his own way and they’ve forced him to be an integral part of his family’s storyline 😭 it just seems inevitable lol
"I just wanted to go my own way." The announce team: "This is Bron Breaker, he's a Steiner, part of the Steiner family." "Shades of his father." "Shades of his uncle."
And because this last name doesn't exist in the real world, and they also call him a Steiner, his very existence breaks kayfabe. It's completely stupid and ruins any possibility I could have to enjoy him.
They didn’t acknowledge it for quite awhile same thing with Solo in nxt. Solo looks just like his brothers but it was almost like we were supposed to pretend we don’t know lol
I love this guy. There’s a clip of him hanging out with Xavier Woods + friends and Bron asks “do you guys ever play Super Smash Brothers?”and when they say “yeah, all the time!” You see a jock find his place in nerdy culture. It’s as if Breakker didn’t know Smash had a big community and he was just playing it with his friends in his spare time. Great clip.
I swear y’all still live in the 80s with this jock/nerd shit. Comic book movies make billions of dollars and video games are more mainstream than they’ve ever been.
Well pick a better analogy or description because saying a jock finds a place in nerdy culture is pretty ridiculous is what the other guys point is. I agree because I love football but play a decent amount of video games etc. That doesn't make me a jock who hides playing games cuz it's "nerdy". Or that I had no idea other people played Nintendo or sega or Playstation just like I'm sure Bron had some idea there is a following or games.
man wants to be his own character, but still shows respect and love for his dad and uncle in his moves and so forth. much respect. didnt take the easy way out.
@kdizzle901 it's actually not his birth name his birth name is Rechsteiner I heard Scott might own the rights to the name Steiner but I'm not positive about that
I think it’s may be different now, but even though Cody Rhodes was born Cody Runnels, his legal name has been Cody Rhodes since he was 21 years old, as he had it changed. Remember when AEW first started, WWE owned the trademark for the name, “Cody Rhodes”, so for the first year or two, he was just “Cody”, until the copyright ran out.
Okay but bron breakker is the silliest name currently in wrestling. I can't ever take him seriously when his name sounds like it's from a 12 year old's fan fiction.
@@poeticalllarmy7855 Well the difference is _everyone_ had a silly name in 91. Between Duke the Dumpster or Bastion Booger, Taker had the Size advantage to fulfill Vince's height fetish.
He never needed the name to get over and he continues to prove that. Love this guy and hope he gets a great IC title run that leads to something bigger.
Everyone always yaps like “oh Steiner is so much cooler” or “oh he shoulda been a Steiner!” Meanwhile dude didn’t even wanna be lmao. He’s gotta become his own man.
Im so happy to see the younger men and women dont want to live in their parents shadow very impressive to be their own person and not a copy of their mom or dad. Thats very cool of the talent
Big respect on him not wanting to get over with fans by name alone, while showing respect to his family and the last with his promos and moves. Dude will be a top guy in the future
Dude the first time I saw clips of Breakker’s in-ring work I was like “this guy is gonna be huge someday” and THEN I found out he was a Steiner and it all made perfect sense. I respect his drive to prove himself and be his own man, but you can definitely notice the similarities between him and his dad/uncle once they become visible lmao
I love that he did that. When the roster is full of second and third generation wrestlers using their heritage to get over....it's smart to do something different.
I can’t lie I love Bron breakker as a wrestler (especially being a ravens fan knowing he was with us) and especially his name it’s so bada** and he’s should keep it forever but god would Bron “the breakker” Steiner sound good as heavyweight champ😂😂😂
I’ve heard plenty wrestlers say stuff like this only because there under that wwe microscope. U won’t know how they truly feel about something until they leave and are finally able to express there true feelings about something
Yup, they don’t want to label him Steiner because that name has existed in many companies. Hard to claim ownership of him that way. Regardless, this dude is hella talented and has great charisma, hopefully the new regime can capitalize on him instead of burying him like the old regime would have.
Makes sense that he wanted to make his own way into his wrestling career. And it's not like we don't know who his family is bc everyone always bring it up.
The promo that explains why he chose to be his own man & not ne living in his dad & uncle's shadow. That heel or face promo is going to be special moment.
There’s also WWE wanting to own everyone’s names. This turned out to be the right choice, though. His real name is Bronson and Breakker has the same syllables as Steiner. Most fans in their target age group don’t know who the Steiners are anyway.
I mean even if wasn’t announced by wwe who he is would’ve been so obvious who he is the son and nephew of. He is the spitting image of a young Scott steinet
I honestly think it was to his benefit, I got into him not even knowing about the relation and it does make a world of difference. Compare him and guys like Dom Mysterio and the fan response and it's night and day.
That’s how you need to do it honestly. Go your own way while still respecting and honoring where you came from. That’s kinda what Charlotte should have did honestly but i love her anyways
Idk, with how often they make it clear he is a Steiner, and considering that the name is so revered, he should have kept it. His last name being Breakker (with two Ks, really?) is akin to a lame, create a superstar in SvR 2008...
