@@linakudounah. Something already dominate tier 2 (vct japan) before join prx. Thats why he has lots of fans in japan n he also can speak lil bit of japanese words
6:49 small detail, but teams have been eyeing primmie for a looong time. The only reason he JUST got picked up was because talon managed to convince his parents to let him play professionally
He couldnt join a pro team becuase of his parents bro, he actually got offered a lot of times by tier 1 pro teams but he couldnt join becuase of his parents, the reason why his parents said yes now is talon is his country team
@@SmashedBeans68crws scout him for 7 month and if jitboy not in talon he will leave team immediately not talk about how crws need to fly back to thai and go his home to talk about the deal for last times shit was crazy
The last year of valorant aim and movement tech is literally just strafe while tapping 😂, thought it wouldn’t get crazier from there, guess i was wrong
@@suungjinu i did. went from getting single digit kills in death match to 20+, sometimes winning. At first it feels like you wont improve at all, but over time u will be able to one tap and hold angles effectively, u know where to take fights etc
@@charlie_541 sounds boring, but that's how it is. How do you think pros got so good? It's not pretty, it's not 'refreshing' but it's a pure grind, it's the most surefire way to improve.
Okay so yes this couch peak and crouch tapping during fights can work but depends on the rank. At the ranks of these pros, all of them are pre aiming head level so it throws them off. However, at lower ranks not many have the head level preaim. They usually are off a little and sometimes that crouch peak can line your head up with their pre aim. Just a thought
atp theres no difference in crouching or not crouching, if the crosshair placement is inconsistent then it will be random regardless, but is a good habit to learn for when or if you reach high elo. unless ofc you're silver then everybody will be aiming at the ground so mayb this would be bad lol
Coming from CS it's wild to me that some Val players completely unbind Crouch lol, ofc two different games but I've definitely noticed instances where you 100% benefit from crouching in Val.
can’t wait for someone to bring me a coaching session of them holding down crouch for 4 seconds while spraying an entire mag and then saying “it’s what primmie does”
For crouch movement - I can't remember where I saw this but there's a similar technique where you barely tap crouch in the middle of a wide swing, it basically tricks the opponent into thinking you're stopping and committing so they shoot, but by the time they've reacted, you already let go of crouch and you're swinging wider past their shots and you get an easy kill.
I got this "spam crouch" thing from Eggster after watching a lot of his videos and have started to implement it within my gameplay, can absolutely guarantee I've been winning way more 1v2 gunfights due to me staying alive longer. Went from plat 2 to dia 3 in 2 weeks, if you're a player who wants to improve their overall gameplay mechanics- I would definitely suggest to try and practice crouching! still keep in mind that Spray Crouching is still something that will screw you over more than benefit, try finding the balance in strafing Whilst crouching a lil? I dunno how to properly put it into words :b Great video and goodluck in your grinds, gamers.
I want to point out that you said he’d only just now been picked up by an org and that even players at his level can take time to be approached by an org. Frankly, primmie has had multiple offers from multiple orgs, but he’s young enough that he needed his parents’s permission to play pro, which Talon somehow convinced them to give
Aspas is the GOAT. Primmie is a good player and very promising, but comparing him to Aspas is a bit strange considering the few games he has as a professional.
basically when he reaches the deadzone he crouches for that time. he is always moving. as much as you can in this game while being to fire sometimes. so he is always moving and can shoot. crouching moves you but dosent have any shooting error added.
This is a common strat in silver except they don't strafe but they just bop up and down while spraying. Shits unmatched when I'm trying to hit headshots with my terrible aim.
this is old school cs 1.6 movement tech, but the way valorant feels that's why most people avoid it cause they commit to the crouch. this is def good tech, and good informative vid!
Crouch peeks saves you from getting headshotted. Crouch peeking give you an even more peekers advantage, the more you move you dodge bullets. Crouch peeking forces you to always adjust your aim making it more accurate since it makes you ready to micro adjust
Derke is known for his crouch peaks. He commits to the crouch shots almost every fight he takes even against multiple enemies, but he's really good at making readjustments when doing so it can be hard to notice.
Another thing that stands out is that a lot of times if he’s holding an angle, he often places his crosshair for an enemy wide peek (further from the edge of the wall where he knows someone might come from.) I tried this method and it just feels like people run straight into your bullet a lot of times and my headshot percentage has gone up a lot.
A big thing for those trying to get noticed, even if you arent super cracked, streaming or connecting with streamers is your best bet. A solid chunk of spots in APAC t1 are taken by non APAC players like Ban and governer who come from NA. due to their experience, even if Premmie is a better player, ban and gov are more likely to get picked up before him. It is a grind, but u can fast track the grind by streaming and connecting with players/streamers. if youre not streaming your gameplay your probably not gonna go pro. Or itll take a long time for you to go pro
gratz on the razer bucks :P, primmie is a beast, not only he's incredibly fast at killing but also hard to hit and very thorough with his angle clearing
Previously, he was accused by many players in Rank of using hacks or received derogatory comments like "If you're so good, why don't you compete?" Recently, I discovered the truth that Primmie's family hadn't been very supportive of competitive gaming and preferred that he focus on his studies first. Nonetheless, I am very happy to finally see him joining team TALON and competing in major tournaments. good video bro already like and subscribe
I HATE the people that are like "omg insta croucher" "you crouch in fights so you're bad", primmie is the perfect example of crouching not being bad but choosing when to do it. Sure his tactic is a bit extreme way of embracing crouching, but at the same time it also shows that crouching is just another form of movement to throw off people mid duel.
YES , but what if you swing an angle and crouch but the guy isnt where you tought he would be so the optimal move would be to move with a/d keys while adjusting the crossair but since we crouched to do the peak we are slowed at the beginning. So is it really a good thing to do ? I am a bit lost
That's how Suygetsu Aims As well. It also helps to reset recoil even faster than just side strafing. Good internet connection + Rapid Trigger keyboard can do wonders with this technique.
Primmie was trialing for talon esports beginning of VCT pacific before split 1 2024, but never joined because of management being indecisive. Either way FrosT took a gamble signing Primmie after he finished his time at school.
i noticed when the initiating gunfight crouch eggster does the same thing, and since starting to do that ive caught alot of people off guard and won more gunfights by them not expecting it
This type of crouching in gunfights is very common in Destiny pvp which is a game I played a lot before Valorant. But it also doesn’t have the same movement mechanics as Valorant and overall is more movement based. Its cool to see someone in vct with that nostalgic gunfight style
I tried the crouching thing and honestly it has it's own leaning curve. You basically have to relearn movement to some extent. He just makes it look so easy.
The funny thing about his movement is it's very similar to donk from cs. They both use the same type of style of moving and crouching and uncrouching to be much harder to hit. Of course other pros do this but the efficiency and precision of the movement is usually just much cleaner from both of them.
While your point about it taking primmie 4 years is valid, he definitely could have been pro a lot earlier if he wanted too. Knowing they picked him up straight from ranked means he really hasn’t put a lot of effort into practicing team valorant over just ranked valorant. I bet if he had grinded through T3 and T2 he could have made it much faster.
BRO I started practicing this and I'm consistently dropping 38-40 every DM. Unfortunately I can't seem to translate the technique into ranked but I think I'll get it over time.
I've been following primmie for 2 years and after looking back, he only started doing this like 7-8 months prior. I kinda noticed something in his gameplay changed, but I was never sure what it was. I knew he liked to crouch peek, but I have never noticed he crouched this much in between shots and I was wondering how no one seems to be able to hit him even tho he's playing in Radiant lobbies
This type of movement with crouching during gunfights and prefiring has always existed in cs i think valorant just found out metas that were used 20 years ago
Sup dopai! Amazing video learned alot for the video and gonna try to use this in my ranked games too But can you please make a video like this EG Jawgemo? He is one of the most underrated duelists in the pro scene and his mechanics and understanding of the game is amazing!
one thing about this tech is that i think its kind of p2w, if you have rapid trigger this peek is so much easier and more effective to pull off consistently. also, doing this does increase your first bullet accuracy by just a little IF you full crouch for a couple ms so i think thats cool. i had to set my wooting settings with seperate push/release sens since i have layers of foam in between that mess up the actuation points.
5:47 Little detail but he actually saw Reyna’s arm there by the look of it, must’ve just not caught it. Still, this guy is a demon and will be fun to watch in upcoming VCT games.
This crouch peak is very standard in classic CSGO gameplay, his previous CS experience really shows in his Valorant gameplay judging by his clean movement and aim style
the problem is that in low elo this crouch tap only makes you die because 3/4 of the people don't know crosshair placement well, so for the ones who want to learn it wait for diamond at least, plat if you want
He's nothing to compare with primmie, bro compare a guy use a sheriff to smurf in immortals vs a player over 900 score on tracker, more 63% winrate, consistently in 6 acts with the highest LP in the world.
