Hmmm, maybe invest in a water flossing thing? I'd be worried about OVER brushing in the longterm if it's after every meal 😅

Make sure you are using the proper brushing technique. No need to go over 2 minutes. Also you need to floss atleast once a day. Brushing twice is adequate. If you do it thrice it's okay as long as you use the proper technique and don't use too much force. If you do improper brushing it could cause gum recession. Also some places are just hard to reach. I brush twice and floss once and I still ended up with calculus behind my lower front tooth. Anyways it's cool if you use the proper brushing technique but just letting you know in case so you don't end up with receded gums or smth

It's mostly forever. But like nightly. I'm currently getting ortho treatment with aligners. And it's a bummer that I'll have to wear retainers for such a long time but still when I see the difference it made in my smile I feel somewhat okay with it. I had been very self conscious of my smile cause people say that the smile is the most beautiful feature and mine just looked ugly af to me. I'd always cover my mouth with my hand while laughing. I still have 3 months left with my aligners but my teeth already look so much better and I think my smile kinda looks cute now. So ig I'm okay with wearing retainers for a long time. It'll definitely be 100x better than the aligners that make me feel sore when I wear a new one and I have to remove them then brush my teeth and brush my aligners after every meal. I can't have snacks whenever I want either because it'd just be too much of a hassle since it takes around like atleast 10 minutes to clean my aligners, floss and brush my teeth so I just fit everything into the 3 meals a day. I can't eat out unless there's a washroom nearby to remove them so just wearing them while sleeping will be way easier I think.
