Yup! I got the Flip 6 and I'm never going back to a slab phone. It's size is just so convenient. I like to carry it in my trackytop side pocket, which a slab would normally fall out of. It's sits closed on the charger at night time and I only need to tap the screen to see what apps/info I need. Whilst I do roll without a case I will admit it's not the easiest to open so I wish there was a slight thumb carve-out on the sides, or a grippier finish/texture, but it's not tragic. Split screen apps (which I assume most other phones do also) is invaluable for me and plopping the shortcut to those twoo-app-combis into the edge panel makes life easy. The "crease" doesn't bother me and I don't even know it's there until I scroll over it, but I don't care about it; anyway, the fact that we can fold high tech viewing devices in half these days shouldn't be taken for granted - it's amazing!
@thesamuelnam FLOP FLOP was and remains a stupid gimmick...kinda like the nothing! Flashing lights that may look cool but is annoying in everyday use at a high price that ignores a lousy camera and no S Pen slot...giving up so much and paying extra for it equals stupidity in the highest degree
I love my flip 6. The upgrades from the 5 have made this phone the one to get. This will probably remain my phone series for awhile (previously owned the 3 and the 5)
@DENVEROUTDOORMAN do you have anything better to do than reply on everyone's comments with your dislike to the phone?...if the phone isn't for you then it's not for you, but I know many people who appreciate this phone and want to try something different....it's not always about what's the best phone, it's about whats best for the person.
I get you totally hate the Samsung Flip 6. No need for you to come off as a Troll knocking other people's choices. Many people are looking for a different form factor versus the same old boring flagship slab phone spec bump offered year to year. Ultra? Max? Been there, done that many times over. Some people, myself included, don't always care about top flagship specs and tend to favor what appeals to us most, just works, and still does an enviable job. @@DENVEROUTDOORMAN
@ljacobs357 nope it's what you get vs what you pay...no S Pen slot etc camera sucks on FLOP FLOP....not worth the price so I can fit it a tinier bit easier into my pocket!! And the cutesy front of the phone is gimmicky
I was previously using a pixel 6a,and when I saw my old roommate get the filp 5, I immediately wanted one, and eventually, I got the flip 6, and have been using it since mid to late August, and its been amazing, I won't go back to a slab phone if I don't have to
@DENVEROUTDOORMAN even if you do not like it, there's no need to be mean, you could respectfully say why you dislike it, and then I will listen to what you have to say
If you want to try something different, you need the moto razr. Same perks as the sammy, but more useful tidbits and well if you want pro photos, get a pro camera, it's a damn cell phone
@ljacobs357 but for the price the cameras suck...plus no S Pen slot, no dex, stupid looking front...nah for what you pay...has NO REDEEMING VALUE...kinda like the nothing phone....flashlight phone with zero really going for it after the novelty disappears in 2 mths
So this guy is saying limiting the front screen and making you open it is a good thing. What a joke. And the other thing, the only "benefit" of this phone is that it folds and it's s easier to carry . But then again you have to open it and closed it which is an extra unnecessary step. Also when folded it's smaller but quite chunky in your pocket. And is way too long and skinny when opened. Had f3 and f5. Both lasted abut 3 months. Also had fold 2 and 4. 4 was a disappointment. Screen replaced twice in 14 months. Tried fold 6 was disappointed with narrow screen. Might try fold 7 if it's wide like fold SE. Fold gives you something extra but flip doesn't. Normal s24 now.
I'm saying it can be a positive. Feel like you didn't watch the review properly. You just watched it with the intent of responding instead of understanding
@techwithbenefits nothing to understand . I love most of your other videos Daniel but hate the foldables and especially hate Samsung making Ultra users subsidize Fools Edition!....
Don't be blind..between screen and hinges is space. 😂😂dat gater dust..wich is abrasive...😂😅😅😅😅whi should I risk a 2000€ phone..at dat money I'll buy Tab 10...wich os superior in any aspect.. Don't be blind e?...waht you do with a phone wich has a broken screen?😂😂😂😂
This Fold 6 SE and the IPhone 16 are just too late. Not only me, but most foldable enthusiast now shifted to Honor Magic V3, no more has interest in the previously Galaxy Note version i first used the Note 6 then upgraded to Galaxy Note 10 Plus, then to S22 Ultra then Fold 6 or the IPhone variants which i first tried with the iPhone 7 Plus as a second phone. After using it for several months I found that the Fold 6 is still not perfect as its too narrow, thick and short when folded. Fortunately, Honor came up with a better foldable phone that had made me shifted to the Honor Magic V3 now I used for one month. I gave a wow impression really amazing with its size like an ordinary phone when folded and when open its a Tablet, moreover its super thin and its S Pen enable. You guys should get the Honor Magic V3 and see the differences with the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Galaxy Fold 6. Now that Samsung has came up with this Fold 6 XT, but it's too late as most people out there has owned the Fold 6 and mostly they will not upgrade. We'll, its better to go for the Honor Magic V3 instead. Now I am looking forward to simply own the Huawei Mate XT as my primary device and handed over my Honor Magic V3 to my wife as she has been staring at it since the day i purchased it hihi...😊👌🌹
