Why its called India's Deadliest Highway? | Samruddhi Mahamarg Nagpur Mumbai Highway 

I don’t mean to spread false narratives about this highway, i have mentioned the facts that most people drive recklessly on this road and don’t follow lane discipline, speed limit and end up in accidents. Infact this road is the best thing happened in favour of maharashtrian people and those using it. I am able to reach my hometown much faster than ever before. Great work from govt.

Please do not spread wrong things....I was travelled many times...with taking care of road protocols.... having great journey on this highway..

Recently I have driven from igatpuri to Nagpur, totally enjoyed the highway. No such danger.

this highway is a huge saviour on time and fuel, it doesn't have any issues, drivers need to be mature themselves, fill your fuel in advance, listen to music while driving and have a control on your speed and fill your tyres with nitrogen instead of air

Deadliest highway? How? due to bad road or Drivers mistake or vehicle condition??

India has one of the highest number of accidents in the world. Issue clearly is not with the roads.

The main reason of accident is that k almost total road is maid of concrete or concrete pr countinue chalne se tyres garam hojate hai aur blast hojate hai agr gadi ruki nhi to blast ki wajah se gadi roll hojati hai aur gadi k roll hone se hi zyada deaths hoti hai government should make compulsory rule to fill the tyres with nitrogen air before entering this highway

Hi All, Let me share with you my experience about Samruddhi mahamarg . I traveled yesterday up to Sambhaji nagar You will see a few vehicles on the roads. Please maintain proper Air pressure on the tyre and the tyre should be in good condition as we saw almost 4-5 punctures of vehicles on the road. Make sure your driver had complete rest as we saw one major accident of Hyundai Creta yesterday. Toll prices are Rs-265 from entry to Aurangabad. We had no issue as we maintain the speed limit of 80-90 only. You will find a low number petrol pump so make sure fuel is top up while entering.

kamzor driver ye road se na jaye aur rat ke time pe truck wale 120 wali line me suddnetly dal dete hai bahut sare jagah aise patch jaha gadi jump karti hai safe jao aram se jao purane road se jao dont take risk in night sometime driver disturb hota hai light ki wajah se i come from sinner to nagpur its my personal exprience aviod this highway

Don’t drive Wagon R on these highways. Wagon R is extremely unsafe.

Do not spread wrong things,if people are not driving as per norms,how can you blame the highway and government, goto USA and see the highways ,so stop non sense things

ये सब झूठ है। भारत में हर 5-10 किलोमीटर पर कहीं ना कहीं एक्सीडेंट होते रहते हैं। लेकिन उन रास्तों की पहचान कम होती है। जैसे किसी हायवे पर 70-80 किलोमीटर के बिच में कई एक्सीडेंट होते हैं, लेकिन उतना ध्यान नहीं देते। चुंकि समृध्दि हायवे की लंबाई 700-800 किलोमीटर तक है, तो इतने लंबे रास्ते पर कहीं कोई एक्सीडेंट हुआ तो बस "समृध्दि हायवे" पर एक्सीडेंट हुआ, यही कहा जाता है। अगर भारत के किसी 700 किलोमीटर लंबे रास्ते की पड़ताल करेंगे तो ढेरों एक्सीडेंट हुवे मिलेंगे लेकिन वे अलग-अलग रास्तों पर होने से किसी भी नाम से बदनाम नहीं होते। 700 किलोमीटर लंबे रास्ते पर एक्सीडेंट हुआ तो समृध्दि हायवे पर हुआ ऐसा ही बोला जाता है। सड़क निर्माण में हुई गल्तीयों के कारण, खराब रास्ते के कारण एक्सीडेंट हो तब रास्ते को दोषी मान सकते हैं, लगभग सभी एक्सीडेंट गाड़ीयां चलाने वालों की गलती से ही होते हैं। समृध्दि हायवे इतना जादा आधुनिक है की, इस पर गाड़ियां चलाने के लिए दिशा निर्देश (कंडीशन) तैयार किये है, लेकिन बहुत लोग इसका पालन नहीं करते और एक्सीडेंट कर बैठते हैं।

When 90% of the accidents happen due to human negligence or error, you can't blame the highway. People need to learn how to drive on a high speed road, not blame govt for making the road. High speed roads are need of the future.

Just to grab attention, youve kept the title...And nothing wrong in it I think. That's how media works. People does that with such headings for their products for commodities, same thing is done by news media, even goverments use this tactics to grab attention.... Haven't seen complete video, but I hope it shows the truth irrespective of the title. I have travelled on this with my family, and to be honest I've never felt so safe on any highway before. Safety with speed and Igatpuri to Nagpur in around 5-6 hours or so.. Just one issue we need to be aware of. After every 4-5 km you'll find atleast one MF trucker driving not just in the third lane but at times on the fourth ie. the overtaking lane. Now in this case you are crusing over 120... ofcourse there will be problems. I kept it 100-110 and it was as smooth s it should be..
