Even though I'm not a customer (yet, I'm in Canada), I'm extremely glad Jack didn't sell. I also agree completely with how Jack chose to roll out Strike throughout the world. El Salvador was a monster move and I believe made a huge difference to the Salvadoran people. It's been awesome to watch. I look forward to the day when I'm able to use Strike.
What a refreshing pod! It was a pleasure to hear Jack’s experiences in early Strike days. So glad he’s learned as he goes and is making Strike an important Bitcoin service. With integrity.❤
Imagine being the founder and CEO of Strike and not having confidence in your own capability... hearing that makes me feel so much better about my little life/career and rampant imposter syndrome 🥲 And surrounding yourself with the right people who believe in you... resonates DEEP Love his conviction and stoked for the future And I can't wait to get back to Zonte!!!
HUGE fan of Jack, but no one ever seems to point out that Strike's fees DWARF Coinbase fees by 3-4x in some cases. Coinbase is already considered the worst at high fees.... Love the idea of Strike and all you talk about with it.... but those fees!!!!!! NO way!!!!
I went to El Salvador last October, and had dinner with some Bitcoiners at El Zonte one evening. The beach's sunset is amazing El Salvador is no different than any other Latin country these days. I've been to Costa Rica and Panama. It's all the same animal. This is probably two steps up from where it was 5-10 years ago, but it's not worthy of a 3 BTC to become a citizen, right now. When they get Bitcoin City up and running, which will be 3 hours from San Salvador, around 2030, talk to me....
I'd love to see at Bitcoin 2024 someone doing a talk on the reverse El Salvador immigration. I'd like to see numbers on how the ES -> US immigration has fallen in the last 3 years, vs historical numbers and get some interviews with El Salvadorans that have come back US -> ES and to hear first hand about their experience. I would like to know if ES is helping in any capacity their returning citizens....like air conditioned busses bringing them back or chartered flights out monthly or even vouchers once they get back if nothing else. The point is to highlight that solving the gang problems and allowing freedom money to flourish can help the US solve its border problems because these are the reasons they come to the U.S - safety, better money & opportunities. You create those conditions in your country and you too can stop the brain drain & revitalize your country into Wakanda like El Salvado is doing to theirs! Freedom Money & Good Govt Stops The Border Crises In The US.
"Live from Bitcoin beach", except you publish the interviews one month+ after the fact. Waiting that long makes them less relevant. Still waiting for the Dylan interview you made prob two months ago at this point. Ridiculous.
People are a trip. You are watching a FREE podcast. And complaining. Real easy to hit unsubscribe if they’re not living up to your expectations. But just know you sound ridiculous. LOL
What freedoms or civil rights has he lost????🙄I don't know where you live, but you have to be awake to see what is going on in the US, Canada or the EU.
I have lived in Los Angeles Ca. for 52 years and i feel less safe, have less rights, Im taxed WAY more today & Im more worried for my safety than ever, my neighborhood has become a dirty, unsafe craphole. LA now feels like El Salvador did in the 90s. Yet, El Salvador has changed drastically for the better in just a few years ❤️. Gangsters lost their civil rights in El Salvador but the good people gained freedom.
