Jetfire isn't wasted. He gave his life to save humanity and the sun. At least he wasn't wasted like most g1 series characters who got less screentime than jolt in the 86 movie lmao

Not necessarily. Remember how Jetfire was able to take on Mixmaster without a problem. Besides, if you may recall, research also says that while Jetfire is old, he is still very powerful.

After that, depending on how long it would take, I bet that Jetfire would be more concentrated. Besides, if Jetfire were to be restored and revived with a spare fragment of the AllSpark somewhere in the end of the 2nd film, Jetfire would be able to have plenty of time to readjust to walking right because of the amount of years that pass between the events of the 2nd film and the 3rd film and since Sentinel Prime did not get revived yet until the 3rd film. Common knowledge, really.

Sentinel in just the movie suffers a little, he just seems like a lying back stabber. But when we add in the IDW movie comics, he's pretty interesting. Sentinel does believe in all the things Optimus does, Sentinel is kind and caring, I do believe if things were different that he'd fight to protect Earth and the Humans, the problem here is that he cares about Cybertron more. He saw the war was tearing Cybertron apart, so he made the deal with Megatron, find the planet where the Star Harvester was hidden and use it to restore CYbertron, that plan changed a little when he fell into stasis for many year and woke to Cybertron in ruins, thus enslaving Humanity to rebuild with Earth's resources seemed the only option.
Not to mention Jetfire died to make Optimus strong enough to kill the fallen and save earth. Meanwhile Sentinel died by Megaton’s hand as a result of his attempt to kill Optimus.

I mean he sacrificed his spark including all his parts, he was probably beyond repair, and I'm pretty sure the Matrix can't fix or physically rebuild them like you said. And let's be honest Michael Bay probably didn't want a boomer in future Transformers movie.
The matrix is for the primes only that is can by while the allspark could have been the most indestructible object in the universe that could logically resurrect any con and bot as long they are connected to it and make them more stronger than before and give super powers which makes me hate the bayverse for *blowing up* such a cool concept
Some people say Jetfire wasn't wasted. That's partly wrong, Jetfire could have been done more in the movie, aswell as it's sequels. Yes, if it weren't for him, the Autobots would have lost, aswell as Earth's sun being Destroyed. But still, simply throwing a character in a series to sacrifice themselves in the same episode/movie, is a waste of potential. Yes, Jetfire couldn't be much help to the Autobots if he were to survive, but no matter how small, he still could have done more none the less.
Another thing: if I had to guess, the way the evidence is presented gives away the real answer (aside from "it's physically impossible")...and that would be that the Matrix *_ONLY_* works on Primes. Optimus, Sentinel, etc.
My only problem is that his spark remained undamaged while Optimus basically had his blown to bits. Most continuities basically say that the spark holds the soul which probably means their personality as well. Since the movies never contradict this then we can assume that this is a similar case (after all, lockdown seems to collect them meaning they must have some more value than just being a heart). In theory, they could’ve revived Jetfire by building a new body, putting his spark in it and uniting it with the matrix. They even had reason to do it as he’s clearly a very good fighter, killing two deceptions within a minute. He can also open space bridges, something that would have been invaluable during DOTM for infiltrating Chicago.

Wait, I know what your probably going to say but if the allspark can repair and bring stuff to life and repair/rebuild TF, how come they didn't use the cube to repair Bumblebee's legs? I would have forgiven Megatron being revived because the Decepticons used a shard of the allspark and there's no telling how much power it has to repair or bring TF back, but the autobots have the cube to fix his legs or even his voice box.

Still would've been cool if Jetfire came back in his prime(no pun intended). The Autobots desperately needed more flying Autobots. That Fall of Cybertron line cut me real deep. Still miss that game.
So, to conclude, the only way Jetfire would be able to be revived if not with the Matrix of Leadership, it would have to be with the AllSpark itself, since the AllSpark can do things that the Matrix of Leadership is limited to doing, such as reassembling a Transformer's parts on their original bodies and restore all their parts that got destroyed or ripped off. And the way I see it, if Optimus Prime chose to revive Jetfire with a spare fragment of the AllSpark, I think it would have to be because he decided that he wanted to return the favor for Jetfire helping him and because Jetfire could be of very great further use among the rest of the Autobots. I bet that one of the things Jetifire would have been able to do in Dark of the Moon if that were to happen is that he would be able to know of Sentinel Prime's secret scheme with Megatron since he is very knowledgeable and know not to trust Sentinel Prime at all.
While I do say the SR-71 is a good choice for his AltMode, It still seems a little too recent. Something earlier like a 262 would've worked well, although I know they needed something recognizable. And would it stand to reason that Jolt and Ratchet, as a scientist and a medical officer, would've been able to save Jetfire, had he allowed them to?
In G1 and all other Transformers series they had to rebuild Autobots many times. Ironhide especially, guy kept getting killed. Everything that is JetFire is that spark, and only the spark. So they could have built a new body. But they wouldn't have had enough Cybertronian metal to do it. They could have done it with Earth Metal but I doubt the Autobots would know how to do that.
I think the reason why prime didn't revive him aside from the fact that he wasn't a prime is because Jetfire was in too many parts and Optimus was mostly whole aside from his abdominal region so it could feasably just replace the parts. That and Jetfire ripped out his spark for prime to get his parts and prime had his spark.
Asking the questions nobody ever thought of, and closing all loose ends and plot holes. Amazing work! Never realized the All-Spark was for full-body repair while the Matrix can only repower a Spark....
@@Theorymus yes, because he was used to that body when he fought on cybertron. Reason why he was weaker in revenge of the fallen was baceuse his body wasn't balanced and he wasn't used to it. Remeber forest fight when Optimus cut off Grindor's arm. It hits megatron blaster arm and that impact caused him to comletely miss target and fell to knees.
the dude ripped out his own spark (like a heart for us humans) and his entire body was taken apart and reassembled as combat and flight armor/weaponry. it would've been disgraceful to his sacrifice to try and bring him back as some frankenstein looking hunk of metal. better to let him rest after the fight against the fallen.

Okay so In your theory about jetfries parts where left in where he died that could mean that KSI could have use jetfire parts to Maybe the boss drone Mabey KSI used some of jetfire parts and strascream parts to crest the KSI boss drones and this would be in chareter for KSI scines they see cybertroniems as just machines

This theory is backed up with cemetery wind witch killed autobots and decepticons even tho the autobots save the humans many times so whats stopping KSI from using jetfires parts to creat more drones? I do agree there is a similarity to boss and just fire but only nest and the OtterBox would know where Jetfire was laid to rest, KSI likely got that information when they shut down so it is possible they did dig up the parts and use it for themselves

I have serious question : What happened to piece of Allspark that was used on Jetfire. Was it comletely destroyed or being part of him and Optimus gained it through getting Jetfire's parts. TGhis would explain why he was repaired during that transformation.

It would have been cool if his knowledge was passed to prime cause he did become part of prime .and they could have used this in the dark of the moon like when the auto bots faked there death and he got the idea from jet fires knowledge as if jet fire did the same thing in his life .but just a idea .
