Why Jewish people are scared and worried this year. 

What's happening on campuses and the rise of antisemitism are two separate events spurred from the same root. It is justified to protest what is happening to Palestinians, but it is never justified to co-opt just protestation to enable antisemitic fear mongering. Candace Owens, for instance, is an example of this. The state of Israel and its administrators are not the Jewish people, and the jewish people are not the nation state, Israel. This should be a readily apparent distinction. Criticism of one is not tantamount to criticism of the other.

Ten, twenty, years ago I thought antisemitism was practically a joke - like people who rant about flat earth, Holocaust deniers were just mentally unstable, to be pitied. Now? It's scary. They feel so emboldened. Maybe it's because social media gives it a stage, but what frightens me is knowing bitter people are always an eager audience for hatred. No wonder the Lord wants us to pray for good for each other, to raise each other up.
