I know a lot of you will disagree with my checkpoints idea, which is fine however I am only suggesting this for the TLPTR due to its sheer length and unrealistic expectations
Still dont think TLPTR should still not include a badge but maybe a cool cosmetic a badge and maybe a podium for those who beat it in its portal room, kinda like PoM
I feel that checkpoints are unnecessary since tower rushes are supposed to be an optional challenge that’s meant to be really hard. But I do think that there should be badges and maybe even items for them so that they actually have more of a purpose.
I do agree whit SOME points I do think tower rushes should give a reward BUT having a checkpoint ruins the entire point of TR. They are meant to be endurance tests for the best players.
cosmetic ideas R1: islands with ToIE, ToH and ToSP surrounding the player FR: Aura with text saying stuff like "Where am I?" "Who am I?" R2: Cows walking around the player GoE: Sprinklers spraying water on the player R3: TaT's gameplay rotating around the player R4: ToSH's pillar things on f10 but they are horns on your head SA: Lantern Item | Snorkel with bubbles R5: ToIB's flag at the summit on the player's head LR: boat R6: Scythe on the players back AT: Gears R7: Spiky Balls orbiting the player R8: Volimunous Framework around the player
After seeing this I'll just stick to having Garden of Eeshol as my only tower rush completion (Paradise Atoll would've been my 2nd but I only did 1 attempt & died to SoAR)
TRUE i agree that they should give a cosmetic and badge like ring 1 can have floating islands with tower and ring 2 can have rocky terrain with towers etc
to TR's current state right now, i'll say that its not worth doing or even completing. Whats the point of spending all your life on a one run tower challenge when you get nothing for it but a WIN MESSAGE. definitely not worth it, and i do agree with everything in this video
in my opinion, the TR not being worth IS the point of TR. by that, i mean that they were (and still are) optional, and having a badge for it would make people go “hey look at this dumb game they want us to complete a 5 hour thing for a stupid badge???” or something. it is only for the one’s who wants to do it, and giving people a badge for it would make it kinda “required” in some ways to complete it ? finally, adding a checkpoint would literally make people who completed the TR before mad :trol: to respond to your comment, the point of doing it is nothing but satisfaction, and for me, it should retain the same.
tower rushes are basically a " ok cool but can you do all of them in a row" and they likely dont give rewards so people with no free time arent locked out of a cool cosmetic
I agree with some of the points that you've made. You are just wasting your time for a WIN MESSAGE, and the win message doesn't even appear on all servers. Also, tower rush completions are being used to flex on people.
rushes should go without reward, you don’t have to do them if you don’t want to, but you’re out here acting like you’re being made to do them with no reward. you go in knowing you get no reward, they’re just there for fun. if you dont want to do them dont do them
@@pv_r3 nice, you're doing good, I haven't beat any SCs yet, I want to beat CoTE, ToZA, CoLS and ToVE before my first Insane (Which is the one I already said since I'm consistent at it). Every Tower rushes is literally painful.
Bro I know right, sometimes the JToH comunity is so LAZY, It's been 2 years and some ring 9 badges still don't have images and every ring 9 tower besides ToCR and ToCP has cosmetics, rest of the cosmetics were not even made in the 2 years of time same for zone 5/6/7 sc's, Juke and staff really needs to what this games effort and nostaliga holds because if it goes like this, what obren and the builders did for the towers will just go to waste
To be honest, I think it would be better if tower rushes would stay completely optional, trying to 100% JToH is hard enough, but if tower rushes had badges it would make it way worse.
sorry I was just thinking, there's something I don't understand about this comment. Wouldn't 100% completing jtoh require you to obtain all badges from every event, beat every soul crushing with a badge and obtain unreleased badges? what defines a 100% jtoh completion?
@@ImBadAtNamingThings I meant 100% as beating every tower that gives a badge (so not PoM or TLP), secret ending, and miscellaneous badge (except meet Juke). Not events, disabled badges and unreleased badges.
bro u like events but dont like tower rushes like you said ''you dont get a badge'' badges are useless and if u care so much about them stop playing jtoh also events just give items (which are useless too) and sometimes a badge its pratically the same thing, you do events for fun right? people do tower rushes for fun. also yes it should have a badge and badges are not completely useless idk why i said that but still it shouldnt have checkpoints
tower rushes are like the pit of misery - they're not required to progress and really only exist for elite obbyists for an ultimate test. They still seem pretty pointless to me, it's going to be extremely painful unless it's a subrealm
