(War Thunder World of Tanks have same problem equal to CS in core )
cs2 just feels a lot more random than csgo, used to be confident in holding a angle on go but on cs2 everyone has to be ad spamming just not to die on a swing. its also way easier to shoot without counter strafing perfectly just like valorant. the amount of kills ive gotten that werent even good counter strafes on cs2 is insane compared to go, as if im accurate before fully stopping
@@vokuhila6913 Yeah, I think the reason why so many people are getting kills without proper counter strafing is due to the shitty rubber banding effect. In Go you were able to move away from a bad spray and fire back at the enemy, now my model simply gets stuck in place making it impossible to shoot back while strafing or "dodge"
In defence of Karrigan, ropz is in pretty awful form at the moment and if he had performed even close to what you expect Faze would have had far better results.
@@HerbaceousM8 ropz has been a top player for years so i dont think that only now teams have started to anti strat him. Just look at his stats for the last 3 months, a 0.96 rating against top 10 teams is awful for a player that was rated no.3 in the world last year just below the likes of Zywoo and Niko.

In previous shows either htpm or snake and banter or whatever I was watching at the time, I remembered that thorin did mention nexa also talking about degster attitude issues. He probably just forgot to mention it here. Or didn't feel the need to mention all instances of people talking about degster bad attitude
When austin argues with his chat about cs2 being better than csgo he doesnt mention pro play but here he does. The problem i have with his point is that he actually thinks cs2 is generally better than csgo.
How do people seriously dislike these guys? I see HLTV threads constantly about how annoying and stupid Thorin is but I enjoy all of the content. One day children will understand that you can appreciate something without agreeing with it 100%. I don’t always agree with Thorin but the guy’s been around forever, loves the game and scene clearly, and is a funny guy.

Just the absolute fuck ton of interviews he’s done not just for current pros that everyone knows but for every iteration of CS from star players, support players, IGLs, coaches, managers, owners. Regardless if you like his personality, you have to respect his game.
honestly it does feel like a bit of a shame that we never got to see this faze line up with twistzz making the igl transition and karrigan coaching him through it, like the firepower theyd have and the ability for twistzz to actually develop into a really strong igl feels like it could have been insane
I totally agree. I think that bit of knowledge has been the most interesting part of this whole saga, and really does indicate Faze did have a plan post-Karrigan, and that a Top-2 all time IGL believed in Twistzz is very intriguing.

1:20:00 well said thoorin shit is fucked, smokes are such a performance hit for me, every time im near a smoke/blow it, literally computer explodes, not literally i lose maybe 30-40 fps but the netgraph number that is usually near 5.0 ms jumps to 20-30 and you can just feel the tearing
If Karrigan retires as a player he should definitely become the coach. If he doesn't want to be a coach it would still be cool to see him as an analyst
he says reasonable stuff then he says this 1:11:30 Anyone who plays this game knows instantly, that there i just something off with the game. And I'm not talking about net code, even though there is a whole discussion to be had there, that the game feels worse for anyone with over 10 ping, not to mention Thorin's point about the performance issues. Just load up aim_botz and it is instantly apparent that there is just some tiny tick or processing difference which makes the game feel floaty and inconsistent. With the inconsistency being the biggest flaw. Also the clipping issue from csgo, that lets you do silent drops, isn't gone in cs2, its just that now in addition to the silent drops , we have clipping issues with Jumps. So its just a moot point. Also on one-ways. People who watch and play the game enough, will know that there are still one ways. They are not as reproduceable and annoying to deal with, like many things in CS2 for some reason, but more Situational. Mostly when the Smoke is blown open, for some reason one side can look trough it while the other side cant. Maybe its a perspective thing. Just as a whole the game is worse. What he agrees with, the net code, performance, being the biggest issues. Maybe less than 1% have 5 ping and even less maybe 0.1% have enough money to run this game. 0.01 of the player base has 5 ping and a pc that can run the game at 400 fps. That couldn't have been valves goal could it? To exclude 99% of their players, or force them to have a miserable time playing this game. And we didn't even talk about cheating issues, which btw is also an issue in online tier 3 pro cs, which degrades that aspect of his argument also. Maybe if he meant Tier 1 pro Lan cs2 is better than csgo then we are in an agreement.
The performance issues really aren't that bad, if 400fps is you're minimum requirement then sure, i guess. But 99% of the player base isn't running a monitor with a refresh rate greater than 240, most being lower. If you have 25 or less ping, and somewhere between 120-200 fps consistently (which i would somewhat confidently say most players do) than cs2 is about 80-90% as good as csgo, which bodes well for the long term trajectory. In saying that, Austin is quite literally insane when he says its already better in its current state, cs2 is good, but the final years of csgo was great.
The floaty movement is such a shame, source used to be the gold standard for movement in first person shooters, and valve fucked it up just because they got it in their thick skulls that they dont want 128 tick.

This game cant run at 400 fps on my 7800 x3d, 3070 ti on 720p everything on low and all the youtube tutorials, to squeeze out the last drop of performance. thats the good guy argument btw, lets get to the not so nice way i could've said it. The 1% lows in this game are probably the worst drops of fps form your average ive ever seen. My game cant run above 200 fps in the 1% lows range, when i dm? Or when i get people execing on my site with smokes nades, people shooting and moving? When i look at them i have 190 fps, when i turn for a flash and look at the wall i have 700. When i then throw my molly, they throw theirs so 2 or more models burning effects, and the enemy open ups a smoke with a nade they run trough it, add the smoke linger effect, we shoot at each other blood splatter and decal effect, i get below 150 fps maybe even 100 sometimes on maps with water. And lets not talk about the 0.1% lows, where all the shitty stuttery feeling in this game comes from. Just some random tick or two long complete fps drops, probably vac related, but i can only speculate on that. how is this possbile?

Personally, I don’t think karrigan should be replaced. His igl’ing works. The problem is a dip in performance from rain and ropz. As much as I hate to admit it you can go check match stats and match ratings. I think the twistzz trade + getting second place in a bunch of tournaments at the beginning of this year has caused the morals to dip.
agreed 100% on the malbs point. i also feel that he's helped hunter fit into the team again. anecdotally it seems like hunter has been performing better, but it also seems like he's been having more opportunities for teamplay (setting up malbs, getting to be a little more aggressive than he was with nexa/hooxi, etc)
In the economy changes good point... the new buy menu is a huge improvement over the Radial nonsense we had. It should have been scrapped years ago because it was designed for analogue sticks. Why they limited the number of guns we can take in our loadout... utterly beyond me. I miss having comedy weapons in a stomp but I can't justify using a loadout slot for an M249 or Autosniper.
yeah on the degster point Betboom (3dmax replaced them) had to pull out just yesterday which is a day after this was recorded. Seems like other teams are facing these visa issues.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

about faze, i'd like to see some crazy changes. for example, just imagine: - karrigan becomes coach - twistzz comes back as igl - -broky +s1mple (after 6 mnth of grinding cs) - -rain (ropz on rain's pos) - +Jimpphat (on ropz's pos) it would be freaking all in on the table.

G2 t side rate was pretty good in blast and ewc but even with hooxi, they relied on firepower like many teams. I don’t see tactical much difference. The only teams with good tactical t side are in my opinion spirit ,Navi and probably mouz. The t side from many top teams rely on individual players and are pretty similar

Thorin calling G2s T sides shit when they had the 3rd highest T round win % at Blast behind Spirit and Navi. Navi a team together for over a year had 58% T round win and G2 had 57%. Cant just admit his narrative was wrong so he has to RL style and come up with utter nonsense to justify it. Thorin wants to mention EWC final where G2 played Nuke hardest map for a new team to play T side and then inferno which was Snaxs perma ban and a map he hates. Thorin never wants to provide context when it goes against his narrative but will give every piece of context when it supports his narrative. This G2 is going to keep winning.

CS2 is the worst cs after source maybe. This subtick is complete joke, you can hide behind a wall and die. Even with 20-30 ping its happening, its so unresponsive, like the whole game is delayed by default....Missing shots with the awp seems like a feature now, i am fine to nerf the awp but that is just broken. Pro player like ropz cant jump on a box... And lets not forget that the game is unplayable because of the amount of cheating idiots. Competitive and premier are completely invaded, you get a cheater every 1st - 2nd game. At this point this is a huge clown fiesta from Valve.
