Well for the first few episodes I think he will need a break from karate to take it all in and look at the past and look back at what had all happened. However I think he will start to see Robby was right and I think he will want to make amends with him eventually, and he will want to continue his training learning defense but also learning offensive skills form Johnny, however from the trailer Kenny fights Robby and Shawn Fights Miguel so Shawn and Kenny will be doing one of these 1- Kenny lies to Shawn and makes it seem that Robby gave up on him and Shawn thinks he could take Miguel because he lost and wouldn’t want to fight Robby because Robby beat him. 2- they may be just sparring and it could just be there facial expressions but they could be close. I think Kenny may be redeemed from Hawk and Robby. And I think he will become a even better fighter but I think he will not be as cocky.
Hey, Stryfe. Can you do a video on why Tory and Sam are still at odds for Season 6 on Cobra Kai? The reason why I'm typing this is because their rivalry started back in season 2 when Sam LaRusso accused Tory Nichols of stealing Amanda's wallet in a country club, when reality it was Robby's former criminal pals who started it. I'm also kinda upset (when I shouldn't) is that incident wasn't addressed on season 4 and season 5. Because I believe Amanda will want to know about how this feud between her daughter & Tory.
Kenny felt very badly after the dojo fight and finding out Robby was right about Cobra Kai and Silver. He's more conflicted than anything, but he still wants Anthony's head on a platter. I think the batting cage fight with Miguel and Robby will start off as them trying to convince Kenny to let it go with Anthony.
Yeah I just can’t understand his disdain for Anthony, like I get it he bullied him a bit before but Kenny’s acts like Anthony personally sent his brother to prison
Another aspect of why Hawk lost to Kenny was underestimating Kenny growth as a fighter. He scoffed at Kenny before their fight, not to mention bragged about be the reigning champ throughout S5.
I think he’s gonna be with Miyagi Fang for the first couple episodes then when his brother returns hes gonna be with him and possibly change sides again. That will probably lead to the fight between them and robby/miguel
@@Swavae if Kenny was so hesitant to listen to Robby who actually cared about him, why would he listen to Hawk who continued to be a bully after his “redemption”
I think that in the first early episodes of season 6,he will have the Aggression and the anger still left inside of him,and that will lead him to that fight we saw in the trailer after the fights ending i think he will finally get in miyagi-fang but there will be still some Tension between him and other people like hawk,Anthony and he will troll them a bit in the first 5 eps but at the end with time kenny will get fully Redeemed and get things right with anthony ahd hawk, the people that will help him might be:miguel, robby, johnny, daniel, chosen, mike
The biggest reason Kenny won’t redeem himself straight away is a combination of Cobra Kai saving him from being bullied so harshly (same reason Hawk was so deep into their mantra in Seasons 2 and 3), and seeing all of his teammates in Cobra Kai always talk about being aggressive and paying someone back. That’s the only way Kenny knows how to conduct himself with karate so far.
I do think Silver was genuinely trying to help Kenny in his own twisted way. Unless you think he’s genuinely a sociopath. I always thought there as a small difference between both versions of the “you like that huh” line silver says. When he said to Daniel, it felt malicious. I didn’t get that vibe when he said it to Kenny. I think he’s genuine about Cobra Lai’s legacy and does at least care a little about students he sees potential in. But that’s just me, maybe I’m wrong.
I agree with you. I think Silver genuinely means well too. Everybody thinks he's just plain evil but I think he really has changed. After he came into season 4 as a redeemed guy Kreese guilt tripped him & messed his head up. He went from being a good guy that maybe went a little bit too far on the high living side ,back to the sinister mad man he was before. He went from too far one way to too far the other way. I think Silver is gradually realizing that he can be the changed man he was when he debuted in season 4 but while still embracing the good parts of his past. Just let go of the negative stuff. I think both he & Kreese will find balance going forward. They both will redeem at some point. ✏️🎬📽📺
@@zackfredrick2378I think it’s more the fact that Terry didn’t conquer his demons. He let Vietnam define and the way he does things. By the start of Season 4 he remembered some of the memories and wanted to move on by suppressing any other memories. Kreese is the same. So when he saw Terry stepping out of line he wanted to remind him of a certain memory of land mines that let them define them. Which Terry even said at first “That’s a memory I’d like to forget.” Since Terry never got over those memories, when reminded of them, he couldn’t fight the feeling of what it did to him. It all came out with Stingray. He became just like before and exactly like Kreese because of his inability to conquer his trauma. He instead embraced it and let it all out on Stingray. But there was one change. Kreese. He realized Kreese was himself stepping out of line. Kreese was conflicting with his war trauma all the way back to his fight with Johnny, because Johnny is a weakness of his. Exempting him from No Mercy by the time of Season 4. That’s where Terry decided Kreese needs out.
@@matthewikponmwosa87 he might redeem himself but knowing the story arc and considering how many episodes there are: Kenny's redemption arc is going to take a long time before he considers joining Miyagi-Do.
Another great video, awesome breakdown of the Kenny/Hawk fight. Can't believe how many people have been hung up on that one. As a wrestling fan, I don't bat an eye at finishes like that 🤣
If Shawn knows what happened to Kenny during selection for Sekai Taikai. He will really pissed off with Miyagi-Do especially Devon didn't admit that she's the one who put laxative in Kenny's drinking water & yet, she's cheating her way to take a spot. I don't think Miyagi-Do had a good team to the strongest. Because Tory rejoined Cobra Kai & Kenny might too because they're still two unknown fighter besides Kwon, Tory & two Cobra Kai student.
I m pretty sure that is actually a still frame of Robby and Anthony vs the Paine brothers. This makes more sense from a story perspective too since Miguel and Kenny haven’t had the same type of rivalry
It's Miguel. I broke this down in the initial teaser that dropped. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cU9fXzAInIo.htmlsi=eIV4pIrftphKHrF5 1:14 - 1:24
Hawk filled that dark cobra kai student role, now its Kenny's turn. I interesting. However I do see Kenny getting redeemed with Robbie's help or Kenny seeing something bad happen to Robbie.
When Chuin was training Remo, he stood on Remo's chest all of his weight with Remo laying on his back taking deep breaths. This took place on the top of a tall building. "use the air, don't waste it" says Chuin. This I think would be the best counter to getting the wind knocked out of you. Master Chuin was big on breathing, "if you do not breathe correctly, you do not move correctly" Then Chuin addressed Remo's childish fear of heights. Since Johnny is big on movies I can see him having Demetri stand on Hawk's chest and Meiguel stand on Robby's chest. No one will be able to knock the wind out of them again.
Swear people are extremely biased. They forgive hawk for what he did but not Kenny, acting like he can’t be redeemed even though the Robby was when he attempted to murder miguel
@@tyvillianheartthrob1856 I think the batting cage fight will be his comeuppance, then he'll redeem. Kenny felt bad at the end of S5 that he didn't listen when Robby tried to tell him Cobra Kai was bad news, but he also still wants Anthony's head.
Another advantage he had was that he was a "quick leaner".... since everyone on the show learns black belt karate in a few months, I feel like all of them are elite genius level karate learners haha.
I think he fails the tryouts at the dojo for the Sakai and then he becomes resentful and Sean starts a fight because he doesn’t think Robbie and Miguel deserve it over his brother and that’s where the batting cage brawl happens and all along it was witnessed by Daniel and Johnny and they give Kenny the slot and are impressed lol idk just a loose theory
@Stryfethewarrior can you bring back your who would win shorts I found them very entertaining and I would like to see if you could bring that series back
@@StryfetheWarrior ok here’s some matchups I have so far #1 Col Dugan from next karate kid vs captain turner #2 s3 hawk vs s5 demetri #3 Miguel s2 vs Dutch kk1 please
Great video. I don't think I'd cosign that S5 Kenny was worse to Anthony than S4 Anthony was to him. Not saying he's morally justified, but Kenny is tormenting his bully, Anthony tormented a kid he didn't know solely because he was jealous over Lia. The swirlie was definately gross but so was Kenny being forced to hide in that dirty trash dumpster to avoid getting jumped by Anthony and his friends after he got catfished.
For the people who are saying Kenny gonna get a hawk arc I doubt it because Kenny is not hawk he is a completely different person when undergoing cobra Kai and how they leave cobra Kai people love to compare this show to Star Wars but when it come hawk and Kenny I compare them to flash and green lantern from injustice hawk being flash and green lantern being Kenny u see hawk aka flash saw the bullshit happening in cobra Kai and realize he didn’t want to be apart of it anymore much like the flash was in injustice when he turned on Superman regime meanwhile Kenny never saw the bullshit and only left after sliver got caught much like green lantern when he realized he was on the losing side like Batman said if the regime were still around he would still be wearing yellow in other words if sliver never got caught Kenny would still be fighting for cobra Kai so I very much doubt he gonna get something like the “hawk arc”
I really REALLY dont like him. I get being a bully cause something at home blah, i get being picked on, I dont get being picked on so hard, then becoming a bully psychopath, he comes off like hes going to murder someone cause its fun, not someone overcoming a bully.
Well that’s if he wasn’t trained at Cobra Kai. Something that instills a violent philosophy in you. Kenny explains this to Robby that everything that Anthony does is coming back to him. Cobra Kai doesn’t teach you a limit on where to stop, their motto is “No Mercy.” Kenny isn’t the first one. Johnny in the first movie was going to fuck up Daniel bad “I’ll decide when he’s had enough”, and Daniel was already bruised and incapacitated. Meaning he was going to do far worse. Eli similar to Kenny was going to beat up Demetri over a negative review. Broke Demetri’s arm even though he was basically not a threat (he was backed up by 6 allies). He also didn't overcome a bully either. Miyagi Do he decided to generalize Robby’s actions as all the Miyagi Do’s doing that (Kreese influenced him in this regard). So he beat up a Miyagi Do student and stole the money of a fundraiser. Then planned the assault on Daniel’s house alongside Tory and Kyler. And Tory. Who was going to heavily injure or kill Sam at the school fight.
Thank you for the kenny explanation. but you did miss a lil something in my opinion your completly right kenny is not stronger than hawk in a 1 on 1 fight no bars no cheating however, it is made clear that throughout season 5 up until near the end miyagi fang is not open and students are not training while every shot we see with kenny hes training and using karate. he is stronger than hawk if hawk doesn't go all out. however, hawk doesn't go all out as robby tells him not too. because hes not going all out kenny is stronger than him and is winning the fight. then after kenny does an illegal strike hawk is like screw this im gonna beat him. kenny is able to suprise hawk with his strength and is able to keep up with a trying hawk countering his attack and hitting him with the silver bullet to end the fight early before hawk can comeback. while i dont think kenny is stronger than hawk or miguel or robby I think it is made very clear that he has grown tremendously and with his speed is top5 out of the teens for sure by season 6 he could be higher i dont know.
Not sure if I understand your comment completely, so I'll just quickly address: 1) It wasn't Kenny's strength that he surprised Hawk, it was the weak point. No question Kenny is one of the quickest, though. 2) Just because a character isn't shown training doesn't mean they aren't training. That doesn't make sense because as I've explained in previous videos, the show has time gaps. If we're using that logic, then characters in the show "don't train at all."
@@StryfetheWarrior yeah i explained that poorly my fault. to summarize what I was trying to say is. Even thought Kenny had alot of things in his favor during his fight with Hawk. I still think its a good feat and he is top 5-6 of the teen fighters rn. and I think by the end of season 6 he will be top 4
I'm pretty sure dunking someone into shit it's not only worst than milk but actually dangerous towards Anthony's health is a miracle he didn't get a bacterial infection
@@mavirr_crazylittlegirl8902 he made fun of Kenny on his first day of school right before he went on the bus, acted like a girl he likes and had him meet up in a park late at night and tried to beat him up. They also recorded it and posted it online when Kenny was running away he had to hide in a trash can so he wont get beat up. Through milk at his head on the bus. Put bags of milk in his locker and it spilled on him everywhere. Took his clothes so he was forced to run out only in his underwear. That seems pretty bad to me
@StryfetheWarrior well I feel like Kenny is the most hated character for 2 reasons by beating hawk, which was staged, and we know the real winner while for bullying Anthony btw Kenny would only do that to Anthony while hawk would consistently not only attack the people who did bully him but also his friends who whould still try to stay freinds with him and people consider that hawk cool while Kenny insufferable
@captainhostile101 Yeah, but that's hypocritical. Hawk, at one point, was the most insufferable character, and people still loved him, but Kenny, it's different. it's also unfair to compare both characters when Hawk is already a fleshed out character while Kenny isn't at the moment, plus hawk had no reason to be a bully to people who cared about him or his friends
