Dave, I’ve boxed as an amateur I.e. nowhere near the level you have however you need sports management. I had over 30 bouts thus started to struggle due to confidence, I honestly believe you could still win the British and may be European if you focus 100% Come on bud I’ve seen most of your fights, you can still go further

I don't think he met Haye until Haye had retired after the comeback. he always says Haye is one of his idols. Haye was a bit before Allens time. Haye is 11 years older than Dave. Haye retired in 2012 after the Chisora fight (not including the comeback).... Allen didn't even have his first pro fight till December 2012. Haye could have chosen to spar him during the comeback, but im not surprised he didn't tbf. Haye seemed to spar like he fought... he'd go in there and try take your head off, explosive fast and powerful.... I don't think that would have been wise for Allen, even against a shot to bits Haye after his comeback

Surely a 6"3 version of Fury doesn't beat Vlad for the same reasons. Vlad's jab, and leaping hook followed by a clinch leaves so little time in the pocket to work. I think Joshua had the mixture of range and power to make him think twice, and Fury could actually control the distance with him, something nobody else in the division could do.
@@ML72773 I think the only 6"3 boxer to beat Klitschko or Fury is probably Usyk. Very different to Dave, but you're right I don't really know in honesty. Fury isn't 6"9 anyway.

You're being too harsh, every fighter has heart. He's been in the there with a lot of big punchers. At the same time I feel Allen should have declined the offer to sparr Klitschko IF they wanted him to box like Pulev and told him that upfront. They don't pay him to run, they paid him to mimic Pulev to the best of his ability and he didn't so pointless sparr for Klitschko who is preparing for a specific fight.
