My hubby & I came to Paducah on our 1st visit to Kentucky (in a motorhome - full time RV lifestyle) and within a week we decided to settle down here! It beats any where else we had been (originally CA & been thru out every state west of the Mississippi) - So for those that think this town sucks, leave! We ❤ it here!!!😊😊😊
Just travel to Paducah for the 1st time-I am in love with the (abandoned) old ICRR hospital, the riverfront area, all of the old houses here, converted old Coca-Cola building...loved my visit
I've lived in Paducah for a long time and I adore it. It makes me sad seeing how many people dislike it. It definitely is much better than it used to be, and I can't wait to see how it is in the future.
@@arctic_7792 Yeah some of my friends love it and my family (who has lived there for like 30 years) LOVE IT. But some of my other friends can't stand it lol. I guess it just depends on who you ask :/
@@Chentay502 Paducah itself doesn't have countryside. Or the quarry. Once you start hitting countryside, you're in Mayfield or Graves County. The Quarry is up at LBL. (Land between the Lakes) It's not terrible here. But it's not fancy or impressive by any means.
Visited Paducah during eclipse...very impressed coming from central KY. To all the comments about jobs...get off your butts and join the fire department. Pays well in Paducah....if I was closer I would hands down.
Also, I love how all the spoiled people have to go in the comments talking trash and saying how small the city is. What are you expecting? New York or some shit? Well, you guys need to shut the hell up and respect us. We are not "racist," we are not "a small city," and we are not "a bad city." If you don't like our town then just don't go into the comments talking shit about it.
My girlfriend and I want to move to Paducah, I lived near leitchfIeld in 2019 I really love that part of the country, it's beautiful. How is the job market in Paducah? I'm a plumber btw.
@@truthhurts6459 You shut your spoiled kiss ass rubber ducky burnt chicken nugget ass mcdonalds workin ass up. You only want a big city. Respect a peaceful city and stop hating. Also, we are not racist, we have many different races that live here including down in downtown.
You’d be wrong, the police are nice and kind Hardly any fights and it’s very petty lovely homes well I’m not talking about the mansions and there are many things to do
