This guppy fish has another name, namely Poecilia reticulata and has an identical orange color and measures 2 inches. It is found in the South American and Caribbean regions with temperatures of 64 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit.

I just found out like 3 hours ago that my platys has baby’s, sadly there was only 3 left but, I barely had any plants in my 20 gallon guppy/platy tank, good thing I didn’t get a betta today because my 5 gallon tank was fully established after a 2 month cycling process, so I put the fry in the 5 gallon betta tank

One of my top picks for a beginner is a 20 gallon tank, preferably a 20 long, with five male platies Very colorful, active, and low maintenance!^^ (and something I plan on setting up myself, and that I’m sure my little brother will love) You could also do a few male guppies in a well-planted 10 gallon tank, or set up a breeding colony (two males with four females) in a 20 long I would personally advise against mollies and swordtails for a beginner simply because of their larger size requiring a bigger tank (30+ gallons) than most beginners might be comfortable with
