If people were smart, they'd ask God to help humanity find ways to cure cancer and various problems to help the greater good along with themselves. To ask God for motivation to solve world problems faster since we all still have to put in the effort. And if people were smart, they'd ask God not for material things, but to confirm that everyone is indeed, connected to God...we are just at different levels of awareness of the connection.
Thanks Swami ji for deepening my understanding on getting closer to God. Our approach to God is a continuous cycle, where our karmas shape our relationship with the Divine, and our relationship with the divine, in turn, influence our karmas. Swamiji is a bhakti saint, proves it over and over by pulling all the souls to the lotus feet of God. Follow 'Law of karma', the fruits which we are receiving good or bad are the results of our past karmas. Accept them wisely by trusting and loving God. But as soon as I come back in this material world... My mind again gets engaged in many wishes.... On the other hand I know god will give me what's best for me... N I don't need to worry... I just need to do my best n lots of good deeds .... N I agree INTENTION matters alot... No matter what you do your intention should be good to help others... If intention is good, rest god will handle the things for you... Yes sometimes I doubt god when life don't go my way ...but as swamiji said... Prahlad wish was to make him free from asking ... some will counter this arguments saying that..... those who perform bad karma will pay the price in their next birth.....WHY NEXT BIRTH ❓ WHY NOT NOW in this very birth ❓ if there is KARMIC PAYBACK for peoples sin in the very same birth.....there will be NO PAAP aka SIN because now people know that they will have to wear the consequence of what did it to they will not do these things & sin will stop and Satyug will prevail ..... so any reason why it spills over in the next birth and erases your memory so you cannot your co-relate .... this system of pasr Karmic effect in the next birth .,.... perpetuates and entire cycle of Sin ....WHY this kind of design ❓
Sir u can't question god's ways ...u shd understand whatever he does is the best... because there r many things which we don't know.. we can't get hundred percent in the things we do ... then how r u able to question the way God has designed things .... its just like a newborn baby advising eistien in his theories and experiments 😂😂 .. Ur asking this because your seeing this only from your view ;for only ur benefit.... but god is not like that he gives answer and designs things from all angles .... I wud say... first you understand that u can never understand the God.... then with humility listen to lectures of swamiji .... If u have any doubt don't put it up as an argument .... keep urself low, think urself foolish that ur not able to understand the God.?. Finally when God will be pleased with ur humility and surrender ... he wud give u the intellect to understand him ....

I think God listens anyway. Also those of us who didn't want to do anything for him. He will do His best for them. Even for those who reject Him. God is love and has a lot to offer. The point is that we want specific things and here a relationship would be useful. Exactly as Swami says: if you want someone to take time for you and take you to the airport, at least ask them beforehand. Do not expect that a person (not to be informed in advance), will wait for you at 6 am in front of the house to take you to the airport. This is an exaggeration. Let's be reasonable 😊❤🙏
Such a nice explanation by Swamiji. God has given us everything including our mind and intellect by which we can independently think and act. But He is there to note our thoughts and deeds( knowingly or unknowingly) and gives us the results. So God's law is we receive only that which we give. It is the same for everyone in this Universe.
God is our eternal Father so we should feel that relationship first rather than demanding anything. He is the one who knows what is good for us so we should develop that trust in home and start loving him unconditionally.
