I'm wondering if Jacob's dream at Bethel and Abraham's and David's encounters with God at Mount Moriah are one and the same location according to ancient maps. If it's the same place then this is definitely a geographical portal of greatest significance to the Jews. Their temple was built on this location. So satan would love to sit in the future geographical third temple to proclaim that he is God according to 2 Thessalonians 2:4.

Really enjoy Dr. Kim’s teachings he is solely dedicated to truth and the right dissection of the Word. I would add to this lesson that the “portals” were not these fixed locations that were the doorway into Heaven but rather what ancient texts describe as “heave/earth bonds”. Babel was not supposed to really literally reach into Heaven but rather to recreate the original linkage made before the flood when the fallen angels left their stations and invaded earth ultimately resulting in God’s judgement of the flood. Nimrod, the only person after the flood designated with a similar title given only to those leaders before the flood as “mighty men” sought to recreate this access into that realm that God closed during the flood. Remember that there was no barrier between the physical and spiritual realms before the flood-if one was journeying around Eden they would certainly have come upon the Cherubim guarding the entrance-and thus there was no longer access to those fallen angels and nimrod was attempting, as many did afterwards we see in various ruins around the world, to reconnect that access. God saying that “nothing would stop them” was not meaning that His deity or presence was threatened in any way that would be a possibility but that their desire to reconnect wirh that realm would be possible and thus was stopped.

It's amazing that Jesus has many names he can relate to everyone in all his names. To the carpenter he's the head carpenter, fire fighters use ladders so to the firefighter he's the ladder the list goes on. now I've learned one more The Ladder He is the Ladder of our salvation we climb up him we trust that he won't fail us We didn't build this Ladder with our own works. The thief CLIMBS he WORKS to get to heaven the angels ASCEND and DESCEND like they are HOVERING or just standing on the Ladder and it goes up and down like a escalator at a department store 🤷‍♀️ I wish I would have thought of the escalator theory last night. I can tell he was raised by all white people because he sounds like my old history teacher. That accent was conditioned from a certain person Lol. But all jokes aside I love this brother to death because he is a absolute genius with the Bible. He was born to do this. This is his niche. The way he gets surgical is absolutely mind-boggling the amount of information and knowledge he knows. I will always follow this guy in be a student. Nobody can argue against this guy in theology.
