Machamp may look like a four-armed bruiser, but it's actually a major loser. As far as the Pokemon anime goes, it's the living embodiment of the Worf Effect. Characters like Primeape, Snorlax & Darkrai have all used Machamp as punching bags to show their strength. In over 20 unique anime battles, only one Machamp has ever seized victory. Giovanni’s also came close to seizing a victory of its own, but it ultimately fell to Pikachu. I thought things would change when Bea debuted her G-Max Machamp, but alas, history is doomed to repeat itself.
