Not anything against Baus but his style made them get a 3v4 mid by forceing 1-2 ppl to match him nomater what and he wastes soo much time that the fight mid is over by the time they get back xD.

Baus' macro does not revolves around team play, he's a solo carry. It revolves around calculating what other players will do, allies and foes alike. I don't think it makes much of a difference which server he plays on past the adaptation time. I would even say he thrives in games where macro level is low

I cant speak for EUW, but low diamond on NA used to have worse macro than gold/low plat. Mid plat to D3 was just split between good mechanics and half decent macro. Most games were RNG because you'd get the stupid guy who would throw his lead for forcing fights, when his team wasn't good enough to play off him. The contrast with "bronze" does make sense to me, the only difference is the higher MMR players have a general understanding of CDs or playing around enemy. Bronze players do not.

@@obiwancannoli1920 mechanics is the mastery of your champion, how good you are at dodging skillshots, hitting your own spells etc. Macro is the decision making as in avoiding a fight, pushing sidelanes, when to take waves, deciding to give or fight for objectives.

@@W1ndyyyyyyyy Low elo has great mechanics compared to what it used to be, though. In terms of raw champ mastery, many low elo players would be ranked surprisingly high. But zero macro and, more importantly, mistakes and misjudgements. They cannot punish mistakes well, dont see their own mistakes, misjudge situations all the time.. you can be the greatest mechanical god to ever exist and still be stuck in silver like that.

I am a Master player that started in S11, so I am not sure how good people were mechanically before. 2. Part of champ mastery is abusing weaknesses related to macro. If you don't understand how to position yourself in every single matchup, even though it's bad macro, it's also bad champ mastery - in other words, to a certain point, they do go hand-in-hand. 3. I include kiting, tethering/spacing and positioning as mechanical aspects of the game, and I can assure you that silver/gold players consistently lack these skills because of lack of champ understanding and threat assessment. Some play stupidly and int, some play overly safe and have 0 impact. Now, are some players able to execute Riven combos flawlessly in silver? Yes, but they very likely still lack some form of spacing, kiting or positioning.

@@W1ndyyyyyyyy I see, you arent wrong. Depends on how you define "mechanical skill". I'd say mechanical skill is about execution of your kit, hitting your stuff and whatnot. While the other things you describe are what I would describe broadly as "fundamental skills". Granted, kiting, which is more of a champ specific, mechanical skill is largely underdeveloped in lower elos. And champ mastery was the wrong term here, true. So yeah, I don't think we actually disagree here, just mincing words.

Yep pretty much. I split to diamond 2+ and after that I swap to mid to start affecting lanes more/not have to rely on a jungler to save me. Low elo is the wild west and you literally just have to pick a hypercarry and beat them into submission sometimes.

Or when you are jungler and gank the nasus and you set up a freeze for your laner so you can regank and they ruin it by hard shoving because they got bored

​@@thethinkingbox4022somtimes it is just about how influential the role is, I was a silver support for 4 seasons I said i had enough and went jg the most influential role in the game within 2 weeks I got to plat 2 i played support again because it is my favorite role and got to dimond 1, roles like adc and support are terrible to climb with in low elo because they rely so heavily on team mates where as you can play unga bunga mundo toplane and get easy wins just by stat checking the entire enemy team. Or do what I did and just play nocturn and ult adc and mid over and over till they ff. But if you are playing support (I main thresh) land your hook I garuntee that not only your adc will be autoing full hp minions but they will also never CLICK THAT F***KING LANTERN. set up a freeze for them? They will autopilot idle aa, go to clear a ward? They think they can 1v2 and die, ping jungler is comming? Sit in bush and not go to tower.

That's also his point. The "best" macro in regards to what his team always doing, is to also follow their "unga bunga me smork" aram gameplay, while the enemy team also handshake and dive into you. They started that hardstuck loop for themselves even though it's nowhere near the best coordinated macro overall. This shit also leaks into pro plays handshake meta somehow.

This is the only game I've ever seen of him, after hearing about him earlier this week. I'm convinced he's the official Pantheon one trick and I will trust all of his advice, he seems incredibly good at the champion.

Tbf EUW might as well be a seperate game, never have I ever loved a server more than this one, most of the time my teammates know what they're doing I have tried NA and used to mainly play on EUNE and EUNE is uh... sad compared to all regions, no macro no mechanics
