If Jogo fought Maki again he’d break the fourth wall and ask Gege to give him beatable opponents for once

Jogo fighting Maki with her awakened abilities would basically have a meltdown. He'd be like, "why tf do I happen to fight the strongest mfs."

The disaster curses really do be the versus battle equivalent of the six paths of pain. They serve as gateway match ups and if you can handle them it’s safe to consider you apart of the “ strongest in the verse”

Something that irks me is that people downplay Mai's cursed technique, but we have to keep in mind that her technique uses a lot of cursed energy, and Mai has a small pool because of her connection to Maki. Keep in mind in Mai's final moments she created a sword that is a replica cursed tool which can directly attack an opponents soul. That's insane.

To be fair to dagon, he was just a cursed womb at the start of his first/only fight. He didnt get multiple fights to evolve like the others did

Off topic here. I'm quite sure Naobito got pissed drunk because he knew he was going to croak. Out of all the Zenin, he was the only one who could speak formally to Toji. I believe Toji didn't annihilate the clan due to the following: A) Toji respected Naobito. B) Toji was thinking of Megumi's future like it was implied. C) Naobito was a grand negotiator and mediator, and kept Toji somewhat tame with promises of taking care of Megumi. And he did keep his promise; even going so far as to make Megumi the head over his own son. RIP to the man who drunkenly kept his clan alive.

Finally, people are starting to put respect on maki (the editing is also insanely funny)

"The biggest sin of a small fry is not realizing true strength." The speeds of Naobito and Jogo are so high that Dagon can only make an assumption about who may be faster, just like Megumi did with Toji and Sukuna

Maki probably my favorite character in the entire series. She starts off as someone you root for because of her situation and you watch her develop into a complete annihilating machine. I wonder what role she'll play in the battle with Sakuna now that Yuta has reentered. I doubt she can do much because Yuta is stronger than her, and Sakuna is stronger than both of them combined, with Yuta probably being able to annoy him like Yuji can. Even still, Maki is the greatest. I respect her and Yuta so much for what they've accomplished.

Just finished watching, & can say this is by far the most accurate video I've seen on Maki since her 2nd "awakening" that doesn't instantly downplay her abilities. The general analysis/explanation of all 5 of these characters abilities also kept it interesting to watch 👍

I wanna point out Maki isn´t faster than before at all with the sumo awakening. She´s expressively being able to outmaneuver him because of her improved perception, letting her know his constant position and that of her surroundings perfectly. Wanna also mention Jogo´s domain is a volcano. And his abilities do summon magma. So his domain would just create a battle field that passively harms Maki.

Jujutsu already had me hooked from the anime adaptation alone. But after continuing on into the manga, it quickly became one of my favorite Shounen series. One of the reasons for this was how wacky the curses were, and how Toji was introduced into the story. Before this, I liked Maki a lot, but after her transformation, yeah, I had my favorite character in the series. If Toji were around, it would be a toss up between the two, but this way, Maki takes it for me easily.

Imma sub, this was pretty informal since I was behind from the manga, but also the editing was hilarious especially when you said her weapon options were "limited" in minecraft 🤘🏿🤘🏿

Great analysis! I wasn't a big fan of this manga/anime in the beginning but after rereading/rewatching some things I really appreciate each characters individuality in the story.

I dont think Maki got faster than curse Naoya there since that wouldn't make much sense and the story doesn't depict it as such. What occurs is that Maki, due to her second awakening, can now better perceive and predict Naoya's movements. Hence why he is so frustrated because he should be speed blitzing her but since she can now perceive every aspect of the environment around her (even the souls of inanimate objects) she cannot be touched by him.

Maki being this generations Toji is so cool, like the super fucking strong human who can even give gojo a run for his money. I love characters who are just super skilled with no power/lesspower compared to the rest of the cast.

Video idea: How about a colony vs battle? All the fighters / curse spirits in an colony will be a team work together to fight the others colony. Would be super interesting. At first sendai colony looks like the clear winner but the others has some insane fighters too.

I don’t know if I agree. I think it comes down to Toji’s poor performance against teen gojo. He had to wear Gojo down to even have a chance. And Jogo crushes teen Gojo. I think that the Jogo Hanami durability statement definitely makes all JJK scaling weird considering he took a point blank red blast. And red is stronger than blue. I just don’t think Maki can overcome all of the disaster curses together. Maybe everyone one on one. But as a group I think they beat Maki 8/10 times

The only thing I’ve given a shit about since ch150-152 is what would maki do and where her power would scale. I have been FED these last few chapters. Thank you for being brave enough for making a Maki power scale video even though her feats keep changing every other chapter!!!

Jogo is so weird to scale, he’s ridiculously strong and fast however it’s hard to determine just how strong and fast he is. Yuji scales about right above Nanami (early shibuya) and he was dodging speed of sound attacks while Nanami was perception blitzed. Maki post awakening is Mach 3 and above so Jogo should reasonably be able to tag her and his attacks are even faster, but it’s hard to determine just how much damage it would do but Maki is comfortably around Jogo’s level. Mahito is tricky as in his domain expansion, you’re literally in the palm of his hand and Maki wouldn’t be ignored most likely and purely multipliers wise, Yuji is around Mach 1 and Mahito gets 200% faster so Mach 3. So Mahito and Jogo would be able to tag Maki MOST LIKELY. So while Maki could reasonably beat all the disaster curses 1 on 1 I believe she couldn’t do it 4v1. Also would Dagon really know how fast Jogo is? I don’t think the Naoya being above Mahito scaling is Valid, as Yuji had huge rage and black flash amps against Mahito.

Remember when Gojo said “I want you, or rather, all of you, to be able to beat _that.”_ about Jogo? Well, how many of the students *now* could realistically take Jogo? -Maki and Yuta definitely, maybe Hakari too. _-Maybe_ Itadori. Just the fact that I can even say DEFINITELY for two of them, and give an honest MAYBE for two more, speaks volumes about their growth as sorcerers. Gojo would be proud.

I don't see maki dogging cursed spirit naoya as a speed thing. I think it's the whole perception thing

15:53 I think that this statement here doesn't prove that she's gotten faster but rather that naobito is confused because he is faster than her but still can't hit her. In other words she didn't get faster but her senses and perception increased allowing her to react to his attacks because right after he says that he speeds past her. Also jogo's domain innately has an extremly hot environment so maki might take damage just from being inside.

The thing with damaging the soul is reverse technique has no use to it, you basically will die when you get fatal cut from maki's sword even you're RCT level hakari.

This video would have been so much easier after the sukuna vs maki fights in the recent chapters. Sukuna literally couldn't sense the presence of Maki. Maki asks yuji if he could keep up, she's got immense battle intelligence, she's deadly. She's literally beyond toji at this point.

Being able to damage the soul directly is especially broken, at least against sorcerers, just because RCT can't deal with it

I don't agree with your speed scaling of Maki at all because she isn't getting a physical Amp from learning with sumo she gets a perception amp. This just allows her to react to naoya and maybe even know where he's going to be because of the way projection sorcery works how he has to follow the set path.

I dont know why people keep thinking Gojos domain won't affect Maki. Yeah she has no cursed energy but in my mind Unlimited void simply releases information out within the domain, it doesn't target anything or anyone. So as long as you are a conscious being, you will be affected by the domain. That's how I interpretate it at least.

7:09 actually reverse cursed techniques do a lot of damage to curses when used offensively because it’s doubled cursed energy, But Gojo scaled this attack back because he wanted to interrogate Jogo.

i think that naobito's domain was an exception for targeting only cursed energy users, since Maki was hit by dagon's domain expansion before and she still didn't have CE

This makes no sense when you consider that Tojo couldn't tag Gojo after he came back to life and that same Gojo wasn't speed blitzing the special grades in the underground

I’d say Mahito might win if you think his domain doesn’t target people with curses energy but rather people with souls. However Maki might blitz 1-shot Mahito before activating or escape, however you might say that’s out of character so who knows?

Here's an even more interesting match up: Sendai Colony vs Disaster Spirits Dhruv, Kuro, Uro, and Ryu vs Dagon, Hanami, Jogo, and Mahito Match ups: Dhruv vs Dagon Hanami vs Ryu Uro vs Jogo Kuro vs Mahito My bets: Dh vs Da: Dragon's inexperience against Dhruv would likely cost him a good deal of damage, but overall Dagon has been shown to have a more versatile CT than Dhruv, who can only create Shikigamis that guarantee sure hits from their trails. But that alone would pose a threat against Dagon, if he we overwhelmed by Shikigamis, he'd be taking more overall damage if he can't overpower Dhruv's Shikigamis and keep them from reaching them. It's a 60:40 match up in Dhruv's favor, but Dagon still has fair odds of winning by technique versatility. -- Uro vs Jogo: Jogo has the initiation advantage by speed, but Uro has the defensive advantage by being able to deflect his blasts. In a domain battle, Jogo would have the upper hand, since Uro would have to endure smoldering temperatures, which her space warping can't do much against. Then we have Jogo's Maximum Meteor. Uro may not have the power to deflect a whole meteor, which puts her at a disadvantage. But Uro has counteroffensive potential against Jogo, especially with her thin ice missile technique, not only able to deflect attacks, warp and disable limbs, but also immediately retaliate with a space shattering physical attack, I'd give her a very slight edge just by being able to avoid a good number of Jogo's offensive attacks. 55:45 in Uro's favor, but Jogo has the raw potency of being able to overwhelm her with sheer power and through thermal attacks, which should at least place Uro at a thermal and psychological disadvantage. -- Kuro vs Mahito: Kuro has the advantage of swarming Mahito, and has the CE reinforcement strong enough to even fend off Yuta's attacks. But Mahito has the versatility to match Kuro's. Kuro would likely overpower base Mahito, but True Mahito should have the durability to keep up by then, and if he's starting off fresh, as opposed to heavily worn down during his fight with Todo and Yuji, and the fact that Mahito has a domain, Kurourushi would very likely lose if he can't eliminate Mahito fast enough. 85:15 in Mahito's favor. --- Ryu vs Hanami: To give Hanami a fair chance, since if we're talking just base Hanami, Ryu simply has the raw power to beat the shit out of Hanami, not even mentioning his CE, which likely would tear through Hanami's shell. But Hanami has an advantage by CT versatility against Ryu's powerful, but narrow versatility CT. Hanami also has a special attribute and self-imposed binding vow. In respective order: being able to extract CE from organic matter like plants, and not having enough innate CE to unleash a domain. Ryu would be facing up against: Brainwashing flowers, CE sucking plants, would conjuring/manipulation, and self-replenshing CE, with a special domain that has a binding vow. While Hanami likely would lose in a battle of durability, Hanami innately has enough durability to survive a few punches, and if he wasn't holding back, and got to extract Cursed Energy, he may very well have eventually gotten enough CE from the environment to mitigate Ryu's physical attacks to the bare minimum. Ryu's one advantage is raw power. Power that can overwhelm even Hanami. But that raw power is delicately dealt with by Hanami's more flexible and versatile CT. Full Potential Hanami vs Ryu is a lot closer of a match-up if Hanami pulls off their set up right. At best, 65:35 in Hanami's favor. They fight in a lush, organic environment where Hanami can make the most of his potential right off the bat without holding back, with Ryu answering right back with Blasts that can tear through any Defence Hanami tries to raise up. Without the environment advantage, 85:15 in Ryu's favor. Hanami simply can't land an attack that Ryu wouldn't be able to overpower. Hanami's only fighting chance would be carefully executed attacks with his CE sucking plants and brainwashing flowers. And if Ryu does get caught by either, he's poised to take at least one instance of lethal damage from Hanami. But that's hoping for a lot. And that's my take.

Honestly Mahito's domain hard counters Maki since he directly attacks the soul so it doesn't matter that Maki is treated as a cursed object since as long as she has a soul she is a target.

If Maki = Toji in all atributes then, Jogo tanked a Reversal Red from Adult Gojo, so his durability is AUTOMATICALLY higher than Toji. Jogo is stronger than 3 Finger Sukuna and STATED to be relative to 8 or 9 of Sukuna's fingers, which makes sense, since a 15 Finger Sukuna praised Jogo for being one the strongest individuals that he fought. Maximum Meteor can damage 15 Finger Sukuna, so good luck arguing that Maki survives that, which is curious since you didn't mention it, for some reason...

By current power standards maki is easily in the top 10, arguably if not likely stronger than toji, with a sword that instantly attacks the soul basically ignoring durability, she is also "invisible" to them if they choose to use domain expansion which would basically allow her to back stab any of them, so yeah she wins imo at least

Mahito still has a chance thanks to his domain expansion and his ability to activate it at Superspeed. They say that Maki is immune to Domain expansions but he we thinks about why they don't work on her, then that statement isn't true for all domain, Sukuna domain would erase Maki and Mahito domain would kill her instantly. They explained that Maki is immune to Domain because she is seen as object because of her lack of curse energy, but Mahito domain directly confront the soul, Mahito was in contact with Sukuna soul the minute Itadori went into his domain, so Mahito domain would work on Maki.

Just yesterday the disaster curses were hella dangerous and today they are getting no diffed by everyone... how times are changing.

Maki = Toji Touji = 3F Sukuna Jogo ≥ 3F Sukuna Mahito ≥ Jogo Hanami ~1.5/2F Sukuna Dagon ≤ Hanami I really think Jogo alone is enough. Mahito although as or stronger than Jogo, his ability may not work on maki, although his final form with his black flashes I think would keep up with maki. Finally hanami and Dagon could not against her. Now, if they all go together, they destroy it in neg diff. By the way, I scale the sukuna finger declarations differently, for example, that jogo has a power comparable to 8/9 fingers. And the statements that compare the characters, for example, which jogo might be stronger than 3F sukuna. In one it is more a statement of how much cursed energy one has measured in number of fingers (this is based on Mahito affirming that sukuna had less Jogo cursed energy). The second statement refers to how they compare to sukuna directly, for example, Jogo has a cursed energy comparable to 8/9 fingers, but when it comes to using it for combat, it is not comparable to how sukuna would use that cursed energy of 8 /9 fingers, in fact it would be more comparable to a 3-fingered sukuna. This le course, is only my interpretation
