Potentially Nico Williams or Gordon next summer depending on how Rashford does this season I do have faith in him still but we gotta be ruthless moving forward and the players know that lol ineos don't play
Sick. To be honest I think Zirkzee is going sit Rasmus on the bench quite a bit. He fits more with our players imo. These wingers aren't going to cross for sh*t
To be honest this base 4-4-2 with bruno and mount can change everything for united forget anything the playing with out a top 9 made the whole team look very solid and sound.I have seen some people saying no to this, look if you have ever played the game you will know that you play in the formation that makes you players perform at their best In the 4-4-2 Even Maguire and Casemiro looked solid and some of you feel like 4-4-2 is outdated right?? Guess what Madrid played that all season 4-4-2 diamond and the won it all.
@@Romewithme23 If you have ever pmayed football you will know that you are supposed to play in a system that brings out the best in your players same way Madrid won everything this season with a 4-4-2 Diamond
I love the fact that if we need to break down a low block we got sancho zirkzee Amad and if we wanna run in behind we got rashford Hojlund garnacho and more likely than not we’ll mix these players which is unpredictable
United are closing in on having a fully interchangeable starting 11 GK: Onana and Bayindir RB: Dalot and Mazraoui RCB: De Ligt and Yoro LCB: Martinez and Hermoso LB: Shaw and Malacia CM(6): Ugarte and Casemiro CM (8): Mainoo and Mount RW: Diallo and Antony CAM(10) at times false 9: Fernandes and Sancho LW: Rashford and Garnacho FWD: Hojlund and Zirzkzee. United are two, maybe transfers away from being able to realise that. Ugarte, Hermoso and maybe a 3rd choice striker would give United all the depth they need. I would take Wout Weghorst as a back up again. If he is third choice, I'd be happy.
@@saqib7965 We are being linked to Evan Ferguson and maybe next year once he is healthy, we should definitely go for him and a Trio of Hojlund, Ferguson and Zirkzee would be perfect but right now, Wout Weghorst could be had for around £5m as Burnley won't want to lose him for nothing and he would fit wonderfully as an emergency option.
You have a point. Even in the games where we were beaten in the league, the players played well until they went a goal down. Then their heads dropped. This is why Ten Jag talks about a winning culture. If United put together decent winning streaks this season, it will do a world of good for the mentality of the team.
@@saqib7965don't try it out of the big 6 as a city fan Tottenham is our boggy team up until last season we hadn't even scored or won in spurs new ground
Bro finally somebody said it…. We were pretty good on Sat but all I’ve heard from the media is City’s youngsters were amazing 😂 mate they were only decent for 25/30 mins fs
@@AJ-ry8qdNo one will talk about Mourinho’s football tho, while everyone will talk about how Guardiola’s Barcelona reinvented Cruijfs total football and won trophies. Trophies get your legacy so far, only the way you did it will make your legacy last. The crazy goals, the playstyle. Like Cruijf. His football is old by now but everyone still remembers it. Not only because of the football itself, but because it inspires new generations of trainers like Guardiola that make it live on. Mourinho will be famous for his trophies yes, but apart from that for red cards, unsportsmanship like behavior and his players being actors instead of football players.
Totally agree AJ. EtH finally has his plan & preferred players coming together. I think they'll score a boatload of goals, challenge for the PL title with Arsenal & win another cup!
I have this feeling that if Utd's players stay fit especially the backline& our attacking players covert their chances(unfortunately like Rashford)we will lift the PL trophy.. From coroba cup to FA cup...we can do what seems impossible.... especially with the way ETH wants to play
Your point about sustaining attacks was crucial. It’s felt like we’ve struggled to sustain attacks for over a decade post SAF and it’s been embarrassing to watch. So to see us sustain attacks against City of all teams was quite encouraging, hopefully we can keep that up against Fulham!
This is exciting but it would be complete only when all the players in the team subconsciously play this regardless of whoever is injured. Good decision by Ineos to keep ETH.
Really good video again Aj. I think United will get better at the back when we have a steady back four. Our attacking options are really exciting as you said. Still so many combinations, with Sancho, Zirk & Rasmus to come in. If we sign a good Dm and most of the squad manage to stay fit this season I think we will get more silverware again. ❤️🔥
I wanna see how united play against lesser teams who will not give united players space to run into I think that’s the real test It’s fine letting city play or trying to stop them we’ve seen ole and others do it Real test is what is uniteds identity because I feel this is good for teams who have the ball more not weak teams
Ditto and also add the players need to show the same level of focus concentration and to stay structured like it's easy getting up for the man city's of this world
That's the use of minimum width. We already did that against Rosenberg where Mount got a shot on target and Amad got a shot blocked. So they are absolutely training with up to 4 tactical tweaks on how to get a shot on goal, especially from specific spots on the edge of the box or in the penalty area.
@@AJ-ry8qdYes, players who'll make you dominate every minute of the game. Those technical players they don't want to buy for some reasons. One being Andre Tridande.
Say whatever u want about city having a weaker side without Rodri kdb especially but they backline and front 3 were starters, either way United we’re the better side creating good chances and mostly keeping city quiet throughout and playing some of the best football we’ve seen united play since fergie especially considering it’s against the prem champions. Big contrast to the fa cup final a few months ago. United also didn’t have a full strength side, de ligt and Mazroui are available for Fulham and with Yoro, Shaw and holjund out injured and Zirkzee on the bench unused it’s pretty clear United we’re missing 3 starters at least for this clash and the fact Maguire and Evans basically kept a clean sheet against Haaland, doku and Oscar Bobb shows United are going to be strong this year the football will be better and hopefully the Finnish in the table will be baring another injury crisis
Why u include Oscar Bob he is really promising but isn't even a starter yet and in my opinion it's more impressive not playing well yet getting a result which I have not seen utd do since Alex fergerson left
Honestly I'm excited for everything other than the attack this season. Rashford is lacklustre atm, amad, hojlund and zirkzee are still growing in their roles and bruno seems frustrated. I agree ruud is a great addition but still worrying.
Yeah Casemiro doesn't seem to be capable as a DM anymore, maybe its because he is usually isolated or goes up too much. Perhaps with faster defenders we will play a higher line and he will be protected more. We certainly need a DM who covers more ground
@@Rebhara i don´t trust him, plus he´s really careless on the ball, very inconsistent. We cannot take chances, signing a player like Ugarte is so important.
I’m excited about our attack and I’m excited about our defense with the inclusion of De Ligt, Yoro, Mazuoari and the emergence of Amass, but what connects the attack and defense is my worry. We need some specific caliber of midfielders, defense splitting passing central midfielders, that’s what we r lucking at the moment.
As for last and before that .. every rival fans used to say .. Even Mancity B squad would fuck the United First team .. It’s nice to see the change of narratives now 😍😍
7:50 Ole's whole time was based on this, baiting opponents to move forward and attack, but somehow utd fans and rival fans kept taunting him for "no tactics", but under him, Utd played arguably the most attacking football, scoring 5, 6, 7, 9 goals even in games.
The vision of ten hag is clear but many average players need to be replaced, McTominay,Evan’s,sancho and even rashford let us down lacking quality and focus. 3 transfer windows from now this team will be dangerous
That's a very interesting tactic...what happens if united are now playing aganist opponents that sit back and defend? That will happen for 80% of the upcoming season.
Idk about you guys but I’ve been enjoying our football lately we’ve been creating chances but the team will improve once we get a good defensive midfielder we will be better
Certainly no excuses from ten Hag this season. Squad depth, his signings! Although he started early with his bizarre observations by claiming Sancho is a good penalty taker!!! He’ll be saying Johnny Evans is next!!
Just realised im yet to accept mount as a united player. Still feels unreal. And its notvas if Chelsea players haven't transferred to United before. He'll either continue to be the forgotten man or he's going to be other worldly
If this had happened i think a lot of the issues thet led to Brexit may not have been present...the local regions potentially would have had more autonomy to make localised decisions... Who knows...what ifs are easy to say and hard to be right on
I don't want Liverpool to sign Zubimendi he's been options for us for years but no interest too much time chasing De jong when you Zubimendi Maclister ugarte available over the last two years
I wanna see how united play against lesser teams who will not give united players space to run into I think that’s the real test It’s fine letting city play or trying to stop them we’ve seen ole and others do it
A few months ago i made a transfer list for options in each position some are still available lol.. Neves Barkley Ugarte Zubimendi Douglas Luis Koopminers Fofana Ederson Number 10 options Olmo Xavi Simmons Enciso RW Olise Kobo Bowen LB Aït Nouri Kerkes M.Gutierrez Cb Yoro Todibo Scalvini unfortunately got injured LW Nico Williams ST options we're Zirkzee Solanke Guirassy Sesko Dovbyk Icardi Cunha En-Nesyri
I never saw that winning ajax. So im curious would they have won the prem or is this gona be an "ajax" with better players or just more motivation and scope?
Ruud is teaching this team how to attack and it's looking very good; Hake is teaching them how to defend and we're improving for sure; now who do we get to teach them how to play out from the back/build and sustain pressure with possession?
I think we played well against city and liverpool but the result wasnt good. But i rather see good football and lose then ugly football and win. Cause good football something to work towards and the results will come after
