Do you know technology get cheaper as years pass that engine brand new would have costed 1.5lac in 2006 ( example ) now they would been paying 1lac for Fiat for same engine and selling it to people in updated model of cars in high cost . In same price more or less Suzuki can put 1.5 ddis in ciaz facelift but , why not in other cars because it would cut down there margins and profit Suzuki , so Suzuki doesn’t want to do it . They know INDIAN very well 🙏
Memes Point lol 😂 it’s was in 2006 have you ever driven other Diesel engine torque and power do u now how much power it’s makes to wheels 64bhp 😂 ( 72bhp is engine out put claimed not wheel out put ) drive polo 1.5 and and Figo 1.4 old 1.5 new one . They use same engine on every diesel car till date until new 1.5 ddis came out in ciaz 😂 . Have driven breeza , ciaz and s cross with that vintage 1.3 engine alto k10 is faster then that engine That engine is only fit for swift since it light car it totally unfit engine for other cars 😂 power and torque in budget 😂😂😂
@@CK-xr8cs Brezza, Scross and Ciaz is 200 DDIS...test drive again and u will know Brezza will beat eco sport in drag race everytime. With 1.6 L creta just a second ahead in 0-100. The drivability of the engine is very good. In cities u can easily drive below 2000 rpm. On highways in case u need a surge in power just take engine to 2000 RPM and see ur car become a rocket...

Not logical video. If maruti is willing to stop all diesel lineup, why should it invest approx 1000 crores on new 1.5 ltr home developed engine ? And that is also for only 11 months... Lol More...don't only mention petrol and diesel engine cost, but also mention life of both engines in kilometers. Diesel is way better in running life than petrol.

Ford and Honda can take advantage because they offer awesome performance with good mileage. But this is not good for those companies who don't offer good petrol engine like Maruti, Hyundai, TATA, Mahindra.
Hyundai is successful worldwide with their petrol engines, not diesel. They have their popular direct injection petrol engines and turbo petrol engines. They mostly sell petrol cars outside india.
Sir people don't buy only for cheaper fuel but they also buy disel engine for good pickup as compared to their k series petrol engine if maruti start giving 1.5 l booster jet turbo engine which they sold in other countries then why not people would buy if they sold in cheaper rate .

Actually 1 diesel car does not pollutes equal to 25 petrol cars, but, diesel cars do produce much more pollution than petrol cars. In case of carbon dioxide diesel cars have under control pollution even less than petrol in some cases, but why don't u tell the people about Nox emissions & Particulate matter(PM) emissions of diesel car engine which is much higher as 30%in diesel car than petrol car emissions. They are also very harmful to human health & environmenta both. There is no possibility that diesel engine create less pollution than petrol engines,

Because of all this our industry will go back to 20 years. First of all Govt should take steps to protect it's own industry. Just see what is happening. Tata and Mahindra both seem to have developed own engines. Now the Govt does not give them time to settle and improve. Well Indians first need to learn from Americans. They simply withdrew from all treaties affecting their industry. In India Govt is influenced by some shouting environmentalists and NGOs .
Is abvious that people are not accepting maruti's under powered 1300cc engines and the prices are not justifiable... Same engines in most of the cars. Other companies are giving better engines.. But this doesn't mean that they will stop. Now customers want better performance engines than under powered engines..agree that for small engines electric engines makes sense

Isse better petrol ke sath jao 1 nd 1.5 lac kam rate me same model. Low maintenance, noice nd pollution plus avi ke petrol engines city me 15+ ka average de rahe depends open driving. My baleno giving me 15.8 km/ltr at city traffic 👍
