Here’s some ideas for Metagross buffs for the modern meta: -Explosion and Selfdestruct get their halved defense for damage calc property back. -Light Metal now boosts Speed by 50%, but lowers Defense by 20%. On a related note, Heavy Metal now boosts Defense by 50%, but lowers Speed by 20%. -Megas return, including Metagross’ Mega.

Make its special attack 0, put all the rest of those points in some configuration into bulk, speed and physical attack. For example add 25 of those points into physical attack, add 20 points into speed, and 30 points into hp, then 20 points into sp def. Which will end up with 160 attack, 110 hp, 110 sp def, and 90 speed. Any points into the 'other' attacking stat is a waste of stats.

Basically the same thing as ttar: Metagross has a perfect dual typing that removes a fighting type weakness. It has access to a huge number of moves which include the broken gen 3 explosion, and he has a total stat of 600. I'm happy you have the time to talk about why he's good for 50 min bro, but seriously the poke itself screams that it is op.
