@@TheOrganizedWriter that explains nothing besides what a youtube video is. I'm saying just it's kind of hypocritical to criticize something when you use the same thing your criticizing. Also, you say Ai character is about building the story but isn't everything in storytelling about building the story and a AI character in said story would be apart of it?
My point is that, as I say in the video as well, that I am not in any way negative to use AI as a character. I have worked as a software developer for many years and technology is something I like. Many of my favorite films have AI characters. It is what they have made that AI character in Dead Reckoning able to do, and how they integrate it into the plot that I don't like. That's storytelling. So since I am not negative to the use of AI character, I don't see how that is hypocritical in any way. It is the storytelling they do with that AI character I criticize.
@TheOrganizedWriter so I'm confused, you're fine with ai as a character which doesn't make sense but when ai is a plot point you have issue? I'm just lost at this point. Also why is there this need to use ai for everything today? Have we regressed as humans. Are we actually so doomed like what science fiction has predicted in the past? Probably not but it's really annoying today
@TheOrganizedWriter i should phrase my thinking like this. AI should be used as a tool instead of the main draw or it'll turn out like that scene in Christmas Vacation, nice looking turkey but has nothing to eat. I'm sure you have interesting ideas and ways to put them, but using ai to do a voice over feels like tripping before a race starts. Personally I feel like there is a disconnect from content creator and their content when I'm hearing an ai voiceover in a video. What I'm trying to say is try doing your own voice overs for a try. Unless you write your videos with chat gpt, because that would be cheating then
