The only player with an NVP. He has the same amount of playoff wins as Dan Marino has Superbowls I'll add a few. More NVPs than Drew Brees MVPs,less playoff loses than Both Mannings,Brady,Rivers,etc. Less Superbowl loses than Patrick Mahomes and on top of that less lawsuits than Deshaun Watson. Less drops then Dez,more dimes than Trace McSourly,and less chokes than the Falcons

And now they've drafted Justin Fields, it's like Ryan Pace is Scarecrow from "The Wizard of Oz" and finally got a brain. Edit: all the Fields haters sure seem quiet this year.

Man, I feel sad about Mitch now seeing this. The Bears franchise pretty much left him to bake in the sun for too long without a care in the world to fix his problems, while also basically doing fuck all to help him at all. Here's to Buffalo basically giving him Rehab and salvaging his career.

When we drafted Mitch I stormed out of my house in rage because I wanted Deshaun so badly. I thought we were originally tanking for him in the first place.

As a Chicago native who gave up on the Bears and started watching the Colts. I just wanna point some shit out real quick. Trubisky was never the problem, the coaching staff and offensive weapons were. If the bears had a viable offense that had clear 1,2,3 targets, Mitch would have had better decision making on the field, if his pocket didn’t collapse, like idk all the lines that surrounded Andrew Luck, he could have built up the patience to focus and perfect his throws, improving accuracy, and most importantly if the coaches activity worked together to draft him and iron out some of his flaws he wouldn’t be this hit or miss guy. It’s a shame too cause I liked him, I thought he had some real potential and I genuinely hate seeing him as just a backup.

As a Bears fan, he lacked the foundation and the infrastructure to learn the game and get up to NFL speed. Mike Glennon did him no favors. Thrusted into the game to early, and the Bears suffered because of it. It's the sad Truth. He needed a mentor to teach him how to read a defense and to fix his footwork. Bears ruined him. Hope Buffalo resets him, teach him, and get him going in a starter job somewhere else.

Mitch Trubisky was underrated and scapegoated. Mitch Trubisky was given up on too soon. Despite early struggles, he improved steadily over his years with the Bears. Look at the stats and his team record - over 10,000 yards, 64 touchdowns, and a 63.4% completion rate in just 3 seasons. He's got the talent, he just lacked coaching and weapons.

Personally I think Mitch can still be a good qb. I always thought the problem is at coach. Naggy has shown he isn't top a coach.

Mitch didn't under achieve. He is simply the greatest player ever. He literally won Nickelodeon Player of the Year. He's Goat status.

I the Chicago fell in love with Mitch because he is a good guy not because of his football talent.

Mitch failed because the Bears failed him as they’ve failed every QB that’s suited up for them. They do nothing to support these guys. They want the QB to raise them up as if they’re super men but don’t supply them with any personnel because they don’t care about the QB or the offense. How do you not value the most important position on the team outside of the coach and GM? They don’t even value the Offensive Line that protects their QB! But it’s Mitch’s fault. But most importantly the coach doesn’t know how to develop or coach talent. A good coach would have gotten a lot out of Mitch and would have gotten another young prospect to develop under him. Nagy never wanted him and the GM gave up on him after 2 seasons under the new coach. They’ll never win because they’re too political when it comes to who they hire in the front office. They need real football people drafting real football players. Plain and simple!

The crazy thing is that people only think he “failed” because he was over drafted. He has the 8th highest winning percentage of any NFL QB since he was drafted, but the expectations were to be #1.

Nagy wouldn’t develop Mitch into his style of QB, but wouldn’t let Mitch cook in his own style. It’s a shame really. I’ll miss you Mitch. Been waiting for this video since 2019 🤣 but I’ve been a bears fan since 2015 and watching through Cutlers last seasons, Glennon and Foles, Mitch was the one guy I thought was better at that point in their history. Best of the garbage pile I guess, it’s just a shame he did a lot for the communities in Chicago and they didn’t even thank him. Love the video!

im a bears fan thru and thru and i watched every game he played in, no he is not an elite qb, but he is not ryan leaf either, anyone that leads there team to a playoff twice in 3 years cant be called a bust, with all his low side he is still fun to watch and works hard, im still team mitch, I pray this guy can play without fear to the best of the ability that GOD blessed him with

Whatever naggy changed after the 2018 season didn’t work, I’ve said this when they drafted Mitch that all he had to do was move the chains and control the clock and add points, the Defense was elite and could keep the scoring to a minimum.

As a long suffering Bears fan, I laughed, then I cried watching this. You're not wrong. This was awesome.

One thing that nobody talks about is the fact that if you go back search "top QB prospects in the 2017 draft" almost all the listings have Trubisky ranked at 1. Obviously they were all wrong.

I'm from Chicago, so I can be brutally honest. I like Mitch, he seems to be a standup guy. Unfortunately, the Bears have never drafted well in my lifetime. And, they are the team to where QB's go to die. They have never developed a QB. Other than Pace's failures, Nagy's predictable play calling, and they cannot beat the Packers, it's a recipe for failure and shattered dreams. The 100th Anniversary game with the Pack on Monday night told me all I need to know about Nagy. This is the premier game of the year, 100th anniversary with 2 of the fiercest rivalries ever on exclusive National TV. And Nagy had his team prepped and played like it was a pre season game. He rested Mitch in the preseason as the Pats did with HOFer Brady. Mitch was lost and it was an embarrassing game. Mitch needed reps, not rest. Oh well, the Mitch pick has killed this team for 5 years, maybe more. Now the parade of retreads begins. Mack's golden years are being wasted. The Bears will have to tank to get another high pick so they can screw that one up again, as long as the family is still owning the team.

Another crazy thing I learned about Mitch: When he was being evaluated for the draft, it was revealed that he didn't know what a hard count was until he got to the NFL...

The Bears won 65% of their games with Trubisky on the field over the last 3 years. They won 40 percent with him on the bench or injured. Sounds to me like they failed, not him.

As a Raiders fan, I would love to see a video on one of two things: 1. How the team is hopefully improving itself to become a possible playoff contender. 2. Why Derek Carr is a better Quarterback than people give him credit for.

Jim Plunkett failed with the Patriots and 49ers, so what was different with the Raiders? The Raiders had talent and a hall of fame offensive line that allowed Plunkett to stay upright in the pocket. Football more than any other sport is a team sport. What if Mahoomes goes the Bears and Trubisky to the Chiefs, which one has the ring.

He had one root problem. Post snap reads. When he knew where he was going, his footwork was good and he was accurate as any QB. And Nagy did nothing to help but give him a Bible of a playbook with nothing that would get guys open for easy completions. When's the last game you saw multiple Bears wide open? Been a while and certainly before Nagy.

Simple, he wasn't ready to be a starter in the NFL. The Bears also didn't do him many favors on the offense but he's had some weapons.

I still don't really get the move to swap out Trubisky for Dalton. It's not like they're gonna compete in that division with Dalton at QB and it seems like they would have been in a better cap position if they just let Mitch's contract run out.

I think the bears gave up on Mitch WAY TOO QUICK. If they had any clue how to run a franchise they would have canned Nagy & Pace and got a real GM and coach to work with him.

I love Mitch, but when we traded up, i would’ve put all the chips on the table that Pat Mahomes was going to be drafted by the bears. I knew he needed work, and i thought Glennon would’ve been the bridge qb until Mahomes was ready. When the pick was in and i heard Mitch Trubisky, i was let down, but i wasn’t upset. A lot of analysts had him as qb 1. In his rookie year when he got the starting job, i thought he looked decent but still needed work. Looking back at it from today’s point of view, i honestly think he played better when he didn’t have a lot of weapons around him. I was crushed after that double doink game because Mitch did look good in the second half of that game, and he made some plays go get them in field goal range, but after that final whistle, i had a feeling that that was the ceiling of Mitchs time in Chicago. Then in 2019 after the Packers game in week 1, i knew Mitch regressed. I seen it after the first few series of that game. From 2019-2020, seemed like the team was giving up on Mitch to me. Players were dropping balls, not running routes at the correct depth, etc. One thing I’ll give credit to Mitch, is that he did never complained. Yeah the bears beefed up their defense, but i never understood why they never beefed up the o line. I was saying since 2016 when Kyle Long started getting injured that they needed to look for a replacement at right guard and right tackle because i never really liked Bobby Massie. Then when Charles Leno became a speed bump, that was the end for Mitchs confidence. Dude wasn’t stepping into his throws, everytime he got blitzed, he’d throw off his back foot like Cutler, and for some reason, he became scared to run. I think David Montgomery was the best player for the bears the day we drafted him, and i thought he should’ve been the identity of the team. But Nagy always go away from him. In that saints game in 2019, the bears ran the ball 7 times the whole game. They was in that game until the saints broke the game open late in the third qtr. For Mitchs failures, i blame Mitch for not getting better and not being more assertive and saying to Nagy how he wants the offense ran, or going to Pace and say what he needs to be more successful, i blame him for not taking his footwork and mechanics more serious, i blame Nagy and the coaching staff because they never catered the offense to Mitchs strengths or going through Montgomery, and i blame Pace for not building a stout o line to protect Mitch and run the ball consistently. I seen the o line struggle to pick up certain stunts and blitzes when when they had the numbers. But now that Mitch is gone, i know most likely the bears will screw up another draft pick at qb because they haven’t earned the benefit of the doubt from fans that they will get it right, but i hope that they do get their next qb right, and i hope they build around him the right way. Build the o line, get receivers and tight ends, and get a complement to David Montgomery in the backfield, then they can focus on building a good boarderline elite defense. And i hope Nagy gets better at situational play calling because It always annoyed me when we’re in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th and short and this guy get in shotgun. Get under center and give David Montgomery the ball.

Mitch now gets to learn from Brian Daboll and Josh Allen. Hopefully he does work with Jordan Palmer. Could be a starter next year.

There are TWO ways a coach can make a player great and this has everything to do with mental evaluation. When Norv Turner came to the Cowboys, he worked with Troy Aikman. Once he realized there were things Troy didn't "like" to do and saw a few things Troy wasn't that good at, Norv simply worked his calls to favor all of the things Troy WAS good at. Trubisky is not a bad QB, he's just in a heartless league with people that insist on ramming a round peg into a square hole. All of Trubisky's ticks could have been corrected with just a little help and some proper coaching. Just because you can design and call plays well, it doesn't mean you're going to be a good coach. Mike Martz had as much to do with the Rams FALL as HC as he did with their SUCCESS when he was OC. The head coach has to be a type of FATHER figure, stern but also relatable. I knew it was over when Vermeil left. You can't go full A-HOLE the second someone messes up, Martz would go into full 'mood' mode at the slightest flaw. You have to find out what's ACTUALLY wrong.

People always say "...and we passed on Mahomes!". Mahomes wouldn't be who he is with KC if he had to be taught by Bears coaches. Mahomes had the raw talent and Andy Reid harnessed it.

"Why Tom Brady failed with the Chicago Bears." A realistic possibility! (Sarc) Bad teams would kill any super star's career. How many Bradys had their future wrecked by people like Pace and Nagy?

Don't start rookie qb's. Sit them a year, make them work and earn the time. This also lets you shore up the o-line.

Mitch isn't a bust, Nagy is. Fields did worse in the same system. Nagy is not good at maximizing what the QB does well. Trubisky is going to have a rebirth on Pittsburgh. Unless they draft Willis.
