i love these "getting to know you" videos. It's funny that you make Isabelle talk while riding the roller coasters....makes me laugh every time. Bravo on the way that you phrased the ending "negatives" comment also. You gotta stay and be the change. Great video.
Appreciate the kind words! Had to record that end part a couple times because it’s obviously a touchy thing in florida and we want to make things as accessible as possible for everyone 🫡
I love what Julie had to say about the sense of Community here, even though she doesn't live here. As a 5+ resident of Orlando ( previously Miami) I can say that Orlando has small-town vibes in a big city. My neighbors are great and friendly, and I too moved here for work, and I am so happy I did. You guys always crack me up I'm happy to support the channel as much as I can!!
I am LOVINGGGG the rollercoaster interviews, I’m also so excited to be seeing Halloween horror nights content as an honorary big baby™️ I love watching from afar
Thank you Kayla! We’ve got a full HHN video filmed but honestly don’t know if it’s going to make it to air 😭 It just seems like people aren’t interested in the event so much past opening weekend 😢
Love your videos and the honesty. You and Isabell are so entertaining. We were a subscriber even before we found out you were Hoosiers for a while. We live in Carmel. I guessed you lived in the downtown area of Indy. Fountain square?
We were actually closer to greenwood, but both worked in the city! It was a great area, but like we said in the video, we didn’t make any friends in the year+ we lived there 😢 We appreciated your kind words and support! Thank you 🙏 ❤️
It's been a few videos since we asked for more Isabelle and you have not disappointed!! Isabel and I are kindred spirits with the hatred and fear of winter driving (we live not too awful far from Indianapolis). This video was great, and very relevant for us, as we are planning on relocating to the area surrounding the parks in the next couple years. The sooner the better! Thank you for all the great info, would love to pick your brain more!
Of course, we just had to include more isabelle! (which was easy because my sister was off in California this past week anyway 😂) Always feel free to ask questions in the comment sections of our YT videos, we try our best to respond to what we can get to 🫶
We also love your sister's vlog and are part of her Patreon! I didn't know if you could share how you found your home near the parks? What were the pros/cons you had to weigh? Is there any trick to finding established neighborhoods where you do not have to deal with short term rental properties? We have plans to come down to the area over the next few months and are hoping to scope things out. Any help or advice is highly appreciated!! @@ForTheLoveOfThemeParksVlogs
This was helpful! We were looking at Champions Gate as an option. We definitely want to avoid traffic and "touristy" areas. What area would you consider the "quietest' area to live?
We would highly recommend any of the areas we listed in this video, but if you’re looking for something more quiet, I guess anywhere that’s technically outside of the Orlando city limits would be quieter than within. Obviously avoiding the airport would be great as well for that. ❤️
@@ForTheLoveOfThemeParksVlogs Tower of Terror during the drops would be hilarious. Rock-n-Rollercoaster, OMG Velocicoaster! Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure would be great too. 😄 Whoever is sitting in the side car can be the one talking. There are so many good ones to try.
We love Winter Garden with our back road all the way to Disney. Luckily we rented first bc even though we could live forever right where we are, our ideal area would be Hamlin/Waterleigh area. Just a little bit closer.
I moved to Mount Dora this spring and visit the parks multiple times a week. Lots of mileage, but never any traffic! Also being an AP here compared to at Disneyland is wayyy more fun. Nice video, fellas
Was born in Terre Haute, lived in Mooresville/plainfield and now am near West Palm. We always say that if the six months over summer didnt exist it would be heaven
Couldn’t agree more! We recently went back to Wichita (where we are from) and it just reassured us that moving to Orlando was the best decision for us. And honestly, we need people like us to help things change in Florida…so moving out of Florida is not an option. 😄
It’s a huge relief honestly, going back home, realizing it was the right move 😅 And thank you for staying 🙏 We’ve lost like 50 subs (i’m assuming because of THAT specific part of the video) But gained them right back at the same time 😆 WORTH IT
Great vid ! Love that you are all close and have a good time together , Florida is coolness We drive from Tennessee, takes us 12 hours , cause we stop at buc ee’s ! So your lucky ducks to be there! 😂
me and my fiance watch all of you and your friends video, we love the content, we are moving from NY to florida next week. nervous and excited hopefully we run into you at the parks
I should just move there 😂. So stressed because the E-mail I use for vacations won’t load e-mails. In order to use a different email address. Expedia wants to send a code to the email that isn’t getting message 🤪. Want to book a vacation in September but all my flight information will go to an e-mail that doesn’t work.
Isabel- I am originally from NY and I too had an auto accident on black ice- I am now living in Texas(20 years now)-I won’t even fly north during the winter season. Having to de-ice a plane- no thank you!!
Indianapolis!!! No wonder u guys are soooo cool! My moms side of the family is from muncie! The hurricane destroyed our house in florida so we spent 9 months in muncie this past year, so i got to live the indiana life for a bit and what nice people! It all makes sense now lol!
I've lived in Florida twice in my life. When I was a kid I lived near Jacksonville. St. Augustine is awesome, that's the only thing I miss about Jacksonville. It's the oldest city in the country and a really amazing little town. When I was in high school and college, we lived about five minutes from UCF (yes, I went there). The only thing I miss about the area is the parks, especially Universal, and the beach. It was so hot, I usually tried to stay in the AC. The bugs are terrible, and we had snakes in our house twice. Beware of fire ants.
I loved Jacksonville the few times i’ve been! Been to a few pro-wrestling events at UCF since moving and we are very aware of fire ant’s unfortunately 😑 Thank you so much for watching! ❤️🙏
I totally would leave Indiana for Florida. My family however is not on board...yet. lol As i write this it's raining, cold and windy here. Please send sunshine. 🌞🌻🏃😉
Would y’all be comfortable sharing what type of work you did before this/what type of job you moved to Orlando for? That type of stuff is always interesting to me!
I used to work for a company doing “Media Production” basically a videographer. I also did freelance video production as well. Content Creation is now my full time gig, but i do still take some freelance gigs from time to time 😅🙏
Cost of living is for sure a huge deterrent! We met so many people that only are able to live here because of their work from home jobs that are headquartered out of other cities 😣
I came across your videos as I am thinking of moving from California. I am not really worried about traffic but more affordability and also as I’m renting saw four corners any thoughts on the area?
I love the video- I would love to live in Florida again- born and raised in NY- my family moved to Clearwater from 1969-1974- then moved back to NY- I got married and moved to TX back in 2003 and have been here since- now I am soon to retire-my dream is to move back to FL but I don’t know if I would be able to afford the cost of living there- it would be so nice as a retiree to walk the parks and people watch etc 😞
Cost of living is definitely a huge deterrent of many to the orlando area! We are fortunate enough to be able to live comfortably in Orlando, but with the amount of people moving here, cost of living is skyrocketing 🤯
As a dog owner myself, if I moved there, should I be worried about my dog's safety with gators? Cool video and thanks for mentioning where you moved from.
Mating season is particularly active, but if you use common sense and watch your animals when outdoors it will be fine. We also have rattlesnakes, coyotes, and bears! oh my!
We try to address those things the best we can without making entire prices of content about it 🤷♂️ Just gotta keep it real and push for everyone to live their lives how they want to 🙏😅❤️
I feel Isabelle's fear. last time i was so excited about meeting darth vader but then i totally froze, which then made me embarrassed later cause what must they have thought of me... but man he is intimidating in person.
Is content creation your full time gig? Did you recently transition to that? Or is the job in Orlando you moved for to become a theme park content creator?
I have transitioned into my current job of “Content Creator” Previously I was working as a Media Producer/videographer for a company in Orlando and also doing freelance 😄
Yes, Kristen and I are not actually siblings. Just great friends who don’t like when people on the internet assume when people of the opposite gender hang out with one another they have to be dating. (which is the case a lot) so we said we’re siblings. We also love a good running joke! 😅
The only thing keeping me from moving to Orlando IS the politics. My partner is Trans and they need their medication without jumping through too many hoops. Great video Ryan and Isabella!
Our hearts go out to y’all! Although I’d like to think Orlando is a more liberal / accepting place, it’s still located in florida and has abides by the laws and regulations the rest of the state has put in place. We are hopeful that in coming years we will see change for the better 😭🙏❤️
I've said to my husband many times lets move to Orlando but he always gives me good reasons why we shouldn't 🤣🤣 he's right but maybe one day I'll be a snowbird or something 🤣
The snowbird route was what I dreamt of back in the day, but because life happened (as it does) we decided to just go in full time and make it happen 😅 Thank you so much for the continued support ❤️🙏❤️
Moving out of Florida isn't the answer, although I've been pretty tempted. I was born in Jacksonville, raised in Tampa. I have a trans brother, a non binary sibling, and plenty of diversity of friends. I'll be damned if I let these hateful laws and governor run me or my family/friends out of town, so to speak. Although the heat very well might lol.
Thank you! ❤️ We appreciate you and your family’s strength though everything happening in Florida. We also believe moving out of Florida is not the answer. 🙏 Stay strong in this heat 😅
