Why Mr. Rager by Kid Cudi is one of my favorite songs of ALL TIME 

That song is just so damn unique

The song is about having a bad habit(s) and knowing you should change them. But since you are not a very impressive person and project as a failure (even though you don’t want to) people tend to treat you like a good time and call you up when the need a ‘degenerative’ good time. In my opinion, this song is displaying that moment when you are already having the ‘good time’ but it’s out of addiction/depression and people hold you to that because they want to use you to hop on the train, hence ‘tell me where you’re going, to me where you’re headed’. If you watch the music video, you can clearly see this point. A guy trying to break into his ‘mind palace’ to stop this cycle of pain. And even though he has all his strength, it’s nothing when he is faced with not only his evil self (addiction/depression) but everyone else that needs him for their own little ‘chaos vacations’. I hope this makes sense. I think it’s the best music video ever created, it’s deep and shows how hard mental health is to overcome
