I know this is an old vid but I just started up pearl again and decided to finally try and wrap my head around the honey trees (never once encountered anything when I was younger) could you possibly clarify something for me? you mention to shiny hunt you get the encounter and then use another ds, so what does that mean exactly? do you literally just remove and insert the game into the other ds without saving first? does the encounter remain if you initiate it to check if its munchlax and then turn off switch ds and boot up again? or am I completely off :P all the tutorials just say "after you encountered the munchlax remove the cartridge and move over to the other ds" but how exactly do you do that, and once you are on the other ds is it safe to turn off and do the hunt over multple sittings?
I know this is a delayed answer, but what you would do is hunt Munchlax as normal and once you find it DO NOT SAVE and reset your DS. Then you would go to that tree, save in front of the tree with the Munchlax still in it, then move your cart over to the other DS. Moving your cart to the other DS will pause the game’s clock so you can soft reset for Munchlax past the 24 hour honey tree limit. You can keep doing this as long as you don’t save, because once you save the clock will start up again unless you move it to another system. Hope this helps!
ive been considering doing an all gens hunt for munchlax and this is encouraging me. if i ever find a shiny alpha munchlax i think ill take that as a sign to hunt the honey trees.
How can anyone look at blissey’s videos and say it’s a good guide, that’s all code only computer experts can understand, it’s not friendly to people who aren’t familiar with it, that would take like 10 hours to understand
