I love your channel! Question: why didn't you use the 32-bit float recording inside the Sound Devices MixPre-6? Just curious.

Thanks! I do on all client productions but for daily stuff I do single system to camera for time reasons. One less piece of media, no syncing, etc.

Have you thought about using iZotope De-Clip or the equivalent? It's a quick fix but obviously pricey for something you avoid ever having happened.

Yeah but wasn’t worth it for this. If it was a client project, for sure but we always do double system 32 bit float recordings for that anyway.
