I am old enough to be your mom or maybe grandma. I'm learning from you. I think you are an adorable, precious child of God. Thank you for your ministry & sharing your gifts. God bless you dear. 🙏❤️🙏
Oh, hun! I'm amazed people can call you out falsely for "adding to" the Word. Adding to the Word means you extend His content beyond what He actually says as infallible. You're just doing what many don't. Actually studying and diving deep into your Bible. Ignore the ignorant! Press on. ❤
That is a really good idea. I like the girly artsy way you added so much to understanding different things. I am definitely not that artsy, but I could definitely learn a lot by making references so I can better understand what's going on. And a map is definitely something that all Bible should come with. So you can see the migration of different kingdoms and where different people came from and where they went.
I actually recently saw a video where a preacher points out it's important to note that the Bible is all 1 story, so making references from 2 verses in 2 different books actually opens up your eyes so much to just how everything is planned and intentional. Everything about the Word is God's intention. The other night at my church, we had an evangelist show us how a scripture in Psalms was prophesying about Jesus' death and resurrection on the cross. And in learning more about prophesies in the Bible, I recently learned that Jesus is in every book of the Bible. I've been studying much like her in the video now and it's opened my eyes to a lot!
Thank you sister. I'm so thankful for you. I've been praying that someone would teach me how to study the Bible. I feel so overwhelmed and at a loss for Godly commentary. I'm thankful you started doing this. I think the Lord may have lead me to your channel as an answer to prayer. 🥰🙂
I do this all the time when I try to dig deeper in my Bible. I've gone through 3 Bible thus far. Isn't it interesting reading the Bible. You can find the REAL meaning of life while reading the Bible. ❤
I just write my thoughts down in the margins or on separate pieces of paper. Defining words, writing prayers, going a little more in depth with a Bible study are also things I do. I feel like God brought me to your channel because after seeing your Bible it has helped me feel closer to mine! Thank you! ❤
I am so thankful I found your videos!! I’m a new Christian and I had NO idea how enriching reading the Bible is. I read commentaries and other resources to help me understand what is being said. Thank you so much for taking the time to make all of these videos. ❤
My scriptures look like this too! Not as pretty as yours, but I have notes and tabs all throughout! I can't believe some people are accusing you of "adding to the bible" ⁉️That's ridiculous! Its just making notes to remember and understand more of what it means!
I love your bible and i agree 100 percent with the way you study the word. I also love to keep notes in my bible to explain things to myself and my kiddos.😊 keep up the amazing work sis.
A great pen/marker to underline verses in your Bible are sharpie paint markers in extra fine point and they are pastel. They don’t bleed through and they dry fast!!
That is so cool! When I read my Bible I make notes in my Bible, sometimes they are long notes;now I know it's o.k. to do what you do; never thought of doing that....Thanks!
She makes me excited to start bible study! It's not hw,it should be joyus exciting and fun to learn about the good news! BTW love the fun earings in each video!
A lot of The people who criticize don't even read their bible 😏 if not theyd see how truly deep it is that you have to take it step by step sentence by sentence word for word and even sometimes break it down in simpler words to understand everything Gods tryna say and how it relates to back then and now. It is so deep so gotta dive in expecting to receive and accepting that we need extra help with notes and outside sources is truly humbling
It's incredible you have the mind and ability to look for these notes to take. I'm lucky I get a well enough understanding in a clear read-through or well put sermon because I don't have the know-how to even look for what to write down or remember
I just started reading my bible for the first time a week ago yesterday. Been reading it everyday. All I can say is how amazing it is that you take the time to know the word in great extent. I too pray that I can learn as much as you have over time! It’s amazing and your inspirational
I highlight, draw, and write all over my Bible! I absolutely love it🎉,but I am always surprised by the "pearl clutching" and looks I get when I open my Bible during service or studies. I'm not ashamed though. It's a well-loved and studied Bible. ❤
I'm a new follower of your beautiful channel. I'm really enjoying your video's and look forward to learning more from your faith content. ❤️🙏 From Detroit, Michigan
I love this. I think I’ll do this as well because I have the Bible that also gives context to the scriptures and it has taken my study’s up a level for me. Do you use any particular method to notate your Bible?
Beautiful! I’m sorry people question you but to a certain degree I’m glad they do because otherwise you wouldn’t have posted this explanation which is just absolutely beautiful! ❤❤
I love doing this it helps me so much I have a journaling Bible my goal is when this one falls apart I want a interleaved bible that’s ESV because I really love ESV maybe more than NIV
Amen, we use Scripture to interpret Scripture, when they are all through out the Bible … it’s best to take notes. I put in the Tabs for each Book, I found it such a confidence builder. I became so much better at looking things up quickly, that I gave it to my daughter, and it’s gone around a bit. I’m getting older now, I should ask to use it again.
I admire your bible, I want to learn to do this without it being a jumbled mess. I only use highlighter pens in mine. I am trying to grasp how you have put so many notes in it, which are clear and organizedI think i will try. Thanks for showing it.
I love your studies you give! I also love how faithful you are to the study of God's Word. I've been told not to write in my Bible because it's adding to His word. 😮
The Lord will give you that space to keep doing it, because it’s only in the Word of GOD that we renew our strength 🙌🏼 don’t give up !! You Got this !! I also have a disabled daughter and I always find time for the word , like Faith said sometimes it won’t be a super detailed study 📖 📝, but still read ☺️, have a blessed day ✨
I just read this and it really spoke to my heart, I’ll tell you why after you read this: Do you know the first time the Bible says that someone was filled with God’s Spirit? There’s a hermeneutical method that some use called the “principle of first mention.” It essentially asserts that the first time a word, phrase or concept is used in Scripture is significant, so who was the first person the Bible describes as being filled with God’s Spirit? It wasn’t Abraham. It wasn’t Moses. It wasn’t David. It was Bazalel! And he wasn’t filled to preach. Or prophecy. Or govern. He was filled with God’s Spirit to create! Exodus 35 says he was filled with the Spirit of God, with wisdom…to make artistic designs, cut stones and engrave wood for the tabernacle. Turns out God cares about creativity! I think that’s fascinating! From the very beginning of the story, God invites us to join Him in creating and cultivating, dreaming and implementing, constructing and ordering. Every person is made in the image of God, full of dignity, with unique gifts and talents meant to point people back to Him. We are, as N.T. Wright says, “angled mirrors-reflecting God’s love for the world through us and giving the world a glimpse of God and His goodness.” You were created by the Creator to create! I love this because one of my favorite things to do is make tumblers, Bible journaling with art and things that holds truth about God and His Love! I never considered I was doing something that pointed back to my Creator! This gives me validation in what I am doing and fills my heart!!!
Pump the brakes. That is Satan whispering in your ear. There is no need for you to be like Faith, you are on your own level. We are all on our own levels, because we all have an individual relationship with God. If you want to do this to your Bible then by all means, but its not necessary to have a relationship with God. Faith only meant to inform and inspire. If it makes you feel bad, I would strongly encourage you to pray to God for guidance. May God bless you and your family.
Oh my, that'd be so amazing. My aunt gave me my grandfather's Bible a couple years ago, it's over 100 years old! I so enjoyed seeing the parts that he had underlined or notes he had added in. Not nearly as many as Faith has done, but still wonderful.
