Do you know what tipped off Houston and Boeing that they had a helium leak. The astronauts voices started to sound like “Alvin and the Chipmunks” 🐿️ 😂😂😂😂
Starliner is already doomed because of it's malfunctions. I'm afraid it will not survive reentry. Why waiting for a rescue mission? Get the astronauts out of there!
And to think they did this over 50 years ago with that old antiquated equipment. My how times change. The amazing technology we have today and this what we get, the mighty have fallen..
this is one of the first things that I can't stand about Starliner is that they didn't use real cameras to take real live video of the ship taking off after launch. who uses an animation now except someone who doesn't want to show the actual condition of the outside of there ship. cuz if you look at the outside of the Starliner it looks like a patchwork of fabrics that have been sewn together. they haven't mastered the video it doesn't look like they have anything that's close to What starlink has. I think Boeing is stuck they haven't got the ability to advance very quickly. Thank you Rich billionaire Elon Musk you're the man keep it up Don't Stop we want you to go to the Mars and Beyond.
Gee, I'm pretty sure that it is all due to boeing -DIE- DEI !!!!! They have lost all credibility !!!!! Do some real, deep-diving journalism, and perhaps I'll consider listening to you !!!!!
Boeing can still save themselves. They might try licensing New Glenn and building some of those. It's an idea. What's Yours? Oh... Starliner = Spaceliner & Starship = Spaceship. We ain't leaving the solar system anytime soon. :^/
What's everybody complaining for?, This capsule is right on par with everything else Boeing builds, least we forget how well their jets that keep loosing doors and other parts mid flight? A lot of people got really lucky on a southwest flight just the other day, and the only reason they survived was that the control tower called them and said," you know you.re at 400 feet?" they didn't, thanks to that wonderful Boeing aircraft they where flying, that didn't let them know. They just found a way to scam more tax payer money, and deliver unsafe products, if they even deliver anything that works at all, they'll just ask for an extension, and more money, which the gov will gladly oblige, it's not their money their wasting. Wonder if I asked the Gov for an unknown date I could "maybe" start paying my taxes, and when the date comes, we'll just move it back another "few years". I promise I'll eventually pay. Thank God for Elon Musk and the people at SpaceX! Just saying.....
Why is the interior of the ISS so cluttered? With so many cables, wires and tubes all over it appears easy to get entangled and critical equipment compromised. It's unnerving.
If NASA does anything but have SpaceX bring them home and send Sadliner empty. Even if it comes back safely, I would tell Boeing they are on their own till they can get their bovine excrement together 😂
@@TheProfficer They are not in danger. Elon says he can launch a crew dragon in a matter of hours to go get them. Biden and Boeing would rather risk their lives than to ask Elon Musk to save them.
@@fuhhkuuu3207 considering I am a Dual Canadian and New Zealand Citizen and also hold a, Australian Work Visa, I actually live and work between three countries, and in the past two weeks I have been to Wellington, Auckland, Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto, next week I’ll be in Christchurch, so try again
What an overbudgeted, procrastinated, disappointing boondoggle of a space exploration project. Much like their Max 8 airliners, "If it's Boeing, I'm not going."
People will slowly understand that US is far more of a socialist than China. Both heavily subsidized their industry, but if a Chinese company failed, they are done, the government won't save them.
Not that it would be necessary, but they wouldn't need a whole ship. the existing Dragon on station is designed to carry 7 crew. They would just need to send up a couple of seats and supplemental life-support packs to be mounted under the current 4 seats. It's planned to return in August. They could bring the seats up with Crew-9.
Astronaut to Houston... "Umm Houston, we are prepped for the spacewalk...but ummm... Are you sure the Door ain't going to fall off if we open it? It's a Boeing after all!" Houston to Astronaut "Unmm. One moment... err. I can confirm the door will not fall off. As of the 12th of Last month All Doors have been zip tied to the frame. As long as there is no sudden movements the plastic ties should hold.." 😅
Small problems but all the time you could tell they were under pressure to fly because even that small helium League should have been sorted. NASA & Boings is a bit like that fellow that got into trouble with the Titan. Really it's time to return the thing unmanned if it makes successful landing & there was nothing to worry about you wouldn't have lost anything. Given the current track record I wouldn't trust it to bring people back safe!
I key point of information that is not being explained well on the starliner bit is that these leaks are occurring in the service module. The service module is jettisoned prior to reentry and burns up.. making failure analyst impossible after reentry. They can only troubleshoot it while it's docked to the ISS, hence the delay in returning to Earth.
When SpaceX comes up to rescue them, they should have Starlink HD video live streaming the entire event from many angles, and when the astronauts are back on earth, they will be picked up by the SpaceX ships, and driven away in Teslas.
Sunita Williams is worried she will go the way of her fellow Astronaut Kalpana Chawla floating in outer space. But NASA officials has stressed that there are more than enough Indians to go around.
Those astronauts were brave in the first place for even getting on Starliner. I would not want to be them trying to get home on it. Boeing is an American embarrassment now.
NASA has killed crews in the past with hasty decisions over safety so I'm glad they are reluctant to take risks now. Bet the ISS will be happy when the "fur ball" returns to earth lol!
This is probably so terrifying. I can't believe you had the coconuts to fly in a Boeing spaceship! I hope that coconuts grow in space because they helped Gillian a lot.
I ain’t getting on no Boeing airplanes ever again I’ll be that one guy yelling in the bag area “ oh my god it’s a Boeing run for your f**kin lives people”
This is so frustrating! It seems like there are just constant setbacks with Boeing's Starliner mission. First, there were problems with the thrusters, and now there's a helium leak. I can't believe they launched the capsule knowing there was already one leak! NASA needs to do a better job of making sure these spacecraft are safe before they send people up in them.
