to New Japan Pro Wrestling and built himself in the Junior Heavyweight Division and became their IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and built yourselves up from the Junior heavyweight to Heavyweight division
Neville was build up in the CW division, and showed he can be a champion and a main eventer but Vince didn't saw it that way. What's the point of pushing someone if your not gonna use them properly
Dude it's Simple, Vince doesn't watch NXT because I'll admit, it's some of his best stuff (Hell watch, Zayn vs. Neville at R-Evolution)because if Neville was doing the same gimmick on the main roster instead of the 'Superhero' gimmick that was bullshit.
WWE gotta get better writers and start testing their stars better man. Enzo is great on the mic and that’s about it. Neville is one of the best cruiserweights I’ve ever seen and they jobbed him out to a dude who’s terrible in the ring. I don’t blame him for leaving tbh
At face value, the biggest problem isn't so much the writers as what the writers are being forced to work with. It seems as long as Vince keeps his throne atop WWE, this is the kind of stuff the fanbase will continue to be forced to deal with. One big fallout from the current model WWE is using (assuming insider reports, etc... are correct) is a great deal of dissension backstage alongside a general lack of communication to the wrestlers about their path as well as that of the company as a whole. Add in questionable decisions like fast-tracking Jinder Mahal to the title and you have the beginnings of a true dumpster fire.
maybe one day wwe will realize what they have. They will start to see why attendance is diminishing. Until then we'll just have to deal with roman main eventing another wrestlemania
First, you go to WWE's NXT territory down in Orlando, Florida to achieve your dreams and accomplishments and then you make it to WWE's main roster and end up getting buried and getting your dreams crushed. That's how World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) mistreats their young talent. Anyone agree?
Neville HASN'T left yet!! WWE still has to officially post the "Future Endeavours" article on their website first. Until that Happens, he's still with the company
The best wrestling cruiserweight had to drop the title to a man everyone in the locker room hated. Let’s not forget the fact that he CARRIED that division for months. He shouldn’t have even been in that division, he deserved a run with some other belts
Dolph has to leave too, maybe they should both go to Japan and after a couple of months kick Omega out and get him to debut in Nxt by next summer and Dolph and Neville are top stars in Japan, works out for everyone 😁😁
Dolph is getting on a bit in age he is 37! I don't think the indie style will work well for his body in this day and age especially how he injures himself from overselling.
It’s gotten to the point that WWE has become the stepping stone for wrestlers to develop and make a name for themselves... Then they move on to NJPW, ROH, or TNA.
Neville deserved so much more and when he came back as a heel all of a sudden he was a popular star again and he played that role well. He even showed that the King of the Cruiserweights gimmick could work as a face as well. WWE once again famously misused a guy who could have been a top draw and a top money maker and a top champion. Neville was a guy that I loved the second he debuted after WM31. He had the popularity straight out of the gate and it's kinda frustrating to see such amazing talent go to waste because he don't fit Vince McMahon's fetish.
Haven’t watched wwe in years I remember being amazed by sin cara then Adrian Neville did next or what ever. Then he came to raw and showed his true talent and I was amazed as a little kid from fucking cork screws and shit
Wikipedia says that Neville is still under contract, meaning he might re-debut on RAW as a 206 lb superstar. He's probably on hiatus to put on more weight. 👌🏾
The thing with the Cruiserweight division is, in order to create a valid division you need stars in that division, but as soon as you put those stars in the Cruiserweight division, they're 'too good' for the division. You'll either get a good division with heavyweight division worthy stars, or you'll have a crap division.
I mean if Neville stays put him on SD and make him beat Jinder and then I would bring Ricochet in and then they could have the big trilogy of RR Fastlane and Wrestlemania and guess what it would be good for the attendance as well because face the only championship that isn't shit at the moment is the tag title. Jinder is shit, Corbin is shit and Natalya is past her prime so that all needs to be changed
Neville is so talented that he deserved so much better than what he got in WWE. He was guy who carried 205 Live all that time but that was all for nothing. He should had main evented in main roster but he didn't just because he is not big enough and jacked enough in land of big sweaty men. I really hope that Neville can be successful and have great career outside WWE.
Mecha82 Not really. Neville is more jacked than a good portion of the main roster. It honestly confuses me how he could be that ripped, yet still be under 205 pounds. He would be right at home fighting for the IC belt. It's just that the CW division has a natural cap to it. One you win the Championship and then lose it, where do you go from there? Neville beat everyone put in front of him until Enzo, and they're just jobbing him out to Enzo now. To me, he left because he knows what he's worth and he's not worth getting lost in the shuffle of Cruiserweights
After what he did for 205 Live they should have send him to SDL and make him a midcard guy. Even give him the US title for a while, Neville is an amazing heel and a great wrestler. He even has main eventer potential.
Neville looking crazy and like he has not had 1 night of sleep in a week was amazing, and how agresive he was in his promos imaging him like that with the wwe title, would have been amazing.

I really wanted Neville to leave the cruiserweight division after attacking Enzo a few weeks ago on RAW and move up to the main roster. Imagine a Finn Balor Vs Neville feud. They are so talented in the ring that match could be a best match of the year contender.
What you said about Ricochet is the truth if I've ever heard one. If they even try to put him anywhere near the lower or mid card he is walking out QUICK.
It's a shame he had to leave. The writers of the WWE product have been sporadically pissing me off for a few years now. I hope Neville gets back in or lands a new job soon and is happy,
There’s enough guys on the main roster that are under 205# that can move over if needed!!Example Rod Strong. Most of them have the little guy complex that says they can compete against anyone, just never win against the likes of AOP,Strowman, etc, etc. Put these behemoths in their own”305 Live”!!
He had finally found his niche. He was perfect as the obsessive King of the Cruiserweights. THe promos he cut were great, and the way they made him look like losing the title was literally killing him. It was great. I'll miss you Neville.
Couldn’t help but draw some parallels Simon may have been hinting about with people needing to move on when they are unhappy and all of the what culture team that quit.
Neville vs King Richoet? Neville vs Kenny Omega? Neville vs Penta el Zero Miedo? Neville vs Kota Ibushi? Neville vs Zack Sabre Jr? Neville vs Johnny Mundo? Neville vs Cody Rhodes? Neville vs Rey Mysterio? Yasssssss!!!!!!
I would fully get behind a pissed off Neville run. Like. If he just got so angry about losing his title to Enzo, and he went crazy on the main roster and announced he was gonna take the WWE or even Universal title. I'd be all behind that.
