The Sports Minister should accept responsibility and should focus on what he can do to bring a more positive change. Responsibility is whatever is within your power to do.

How do you expect your athletes to succeed if you don't give them the right equipment? The cycling federation should already have that type of bicycle at their disposal for athletes to train with. If Nigeria cycling federation had the bicycle, a flight from Paris to Lagos is not more than 6 or 7 hours. This minister is talking but his speech is not adding up.
This minister will go down as the Worst sport minister in the history of Nigeria. Imagine by now we don’t have a coach for the super eagles. Absolute a disgrace
On the contrary, his resignation won't change the poor administrative structure we have in government. I believe the next minister won't do any better unless the system is restructured. Obviously, this was a last minute preparation, hence the failure of both athletes and the organising sport bodies. However, I'm glad we were represented. It shows our tenancity to always be at the top.
Sir with all due respect you should have been fired. A similar thing happened with Somalia and after investigations were carried out, the ministry was fired. If you can’t take responsibility but keep pointing fingers please resign. No be by force.
Some excuses can be stupid . Loc . Fifa wafu Afcon and CAF are all agencies under your juridiction . In this case the minister must have a detailed conclusion of every participation . Welfare . Performance and conclusive representation rather this Goat is asking for Gold medal for not being aware of issues within his ministry
