The rep market for those is insane in Brazil. Nike even kept making them here for some time after they were discontinued, because they were so popular. Specially the 12 springs one.
These did not Fail they were so popular in the 2000's i literally bought 2 or 3 a different style and color of Nike Shox every year. They were so comfortable one of the most comfortable shoes i ever wore.
Here in Veracruz, Mexico the Shox model (the 12 springs model) is pretty popular, the Brazil influence is pretty heavy down here and all the youngsters use the Shox and Tn, these very alive in my hometown, even the reps sell hella fast

Man I loved my Nike shox it wasn’t his VC model but Vince had a PE of those. They were a tank. Those and 2k8 hyperdunks were the first pair of shoes I ever dunked in.
I think I had 3 or 4 pair total over the years. Actually started finding them at Ross there at the end but I would probably by a pair if the put them back out. I rock the Airmax 2021 which is just as wild
I had the dopest pair of shox they were black leather with like a brown stitching around the toe box with the half shox they looked so dope with a nice pair of black business pants.

I wore the bb4's to ball in early 2000's they were amazing for cushion and performance but certainly a heavy shoe. I played forward and centre so I didn't mind but after I twisted my ankle really bad in them, I never went back to any shoe with a raised heel that to me was their biggest drawback and I know from runners that twisted ankles in them also that it's a problem. Cool tech though everyone wanted them, esp ballers after Vince jumped over a 7ft man 😮
Where I'm from in the UK R4's when they dropped were massive and they held their hype all the way up to the XT's when Nike seemingly gave up on the line and continuing its innovation.
I don't know, I had 2 pair all black. They was sweet to me, I never thought it would make me have a more of a vertical then what I already had, just like the shoe
I had a custom pair made and they fell apart playing basketball right after I got them. The little shock piece fell right out. I've had a hatred for all shox shoes ever since.
I loved going to work in the Nike shox, when they stop selling them my feet got plantars fasciitis. I really wish they wouldn't have done that because I really like them

I love shox and I'll still buy them when I can find new ones. The shox are NOT for jumping. They cushion your heel and arch while running. That would be a spring not a shock. A shock absorbs rebound not apply it. The Jordans with the launch pad sole is for jumping. Shox are easy on the knees and they do work when used properly. I know a lot of people that still like them including me. The Reax are a new version but they squeak. The Vapormax are good for running but the airbags pop easy. Shox do neither. Bring them back!!

The craziest revelation was when @roseanvil cut them open. All the advertising made it seem like there was an actual spring in the shoes, but it was just hollow.
I remember trying a few pairs but noticed they were heavy and very uncomfortable. I wanted to buy a pair but just didnt see it. Yeah, i agree, they were horrible.

DUDE THIS HIT IN THE FEELS… I remember wanting a pair soooo bad back when I was younger lmaoooo Mom said no they are to expensive so I asked my step dad thinking he’d say yes cuz he always had money… This mf say $120 for those things?!? Hell no 🤣 and in Spanish so it was way funnier to think about but I was semi devastated… told my self I was gonna get all the bitches 🤣
