Yep,In Chinese Taoist tradition, it is best for a house to open the door to the mountain, accompanied by the road and water-开门见山,伴路及水, which is why it is a five-star hotel, not only for interior decoration, but also for mood creation.
I'm from China myself. Very few ancient sites are original as most have been damaged or demolished during Cultural Revolution or other political turmoil. What you see nowadays are mostly replicas.
stop being COMMUNIST!!! you said you are a hong konger, being a hongkonger needs to know the truth about the communist government. if you follow them, we'll start calling you a mainlander because the government tells you "your not a hongkonger", and the second then they say, "you are a mainlander" and so on. are you on ourside(hongkongers) or not? if you are a hongkonger and supports 🖐👆, please delete the chinese part of your username, we are willing to be called hongkongers, and we don't deserve to be called Chinese a fellow hongkonger, Aden
Wow, this hotel looks so beautiful-elegant with tranquil surroundings. I can definitely see how the owner justifies the high nightly rate, as it looks like you have the entire place to yourself! Despite you had been away for five years, you are a pro as far as navigating in China is concerned. BTW, nice interview with Alex in iChongqing the other day.🙂
China is a safe and civilized country with clean streets, well-developed infrastructure, and advanced technology. Don’t listen to the Western media’s rumors and smear reports on China. It is precisely because the Western media has been spreading rumors to smear China that China blocks them. I think this is is correct.

Traveling around China is one of the best things you can do, if you have the time to do it of course. You get a better perspective of the country. You may not see that many foreign tourists traveling to China anymore, because of all the anti China propaganda going on in western countries. Everyone in western countries now think China is evil. It's unfortunate, but that's the reality of things now.
I am making the 200th comment just to appreciate the beauty of China that includes the architecture and nature too. Of course I need to appreciate Kaja for sharing this trip with us.
What a great addition to your travels and you can tell that you have a love for China. BTW, Purple is YOUR COLOUR! Always exciting to see your new blogs; BE WELL, STAY HAPPY! x
I arrived 2 hours earlier than planned at Beijing South High Speed Train Station and decided to change to earlier train it took me around 10 seconds on my handphone ALIPAY (with which I bought the earlier ticket) to do the change with only one question asked: "This train Leaves in 30 minutes, are you sure you have enough time to catch it?"; click "Continue" and Wa La: DONE AND NO CHARGE.
Very nice! I stayed once at the Peninsula in Beijing and it was a very good hotel. There is many beautiful hotels in China and some of them are quite over the top. I remember one 5 star hotel in Lijiang that had gold plated sinks and toilets. Hopefully you will visit Yunnan - as it's the most scenic province. Enjoy and thanks for the vlog🤗
@@KajaKubicka I have been to China several times and I don't generally love their food, but I loved it in Yunnan. So many fresh dishes and not deep fried ones. So many dishes with mushrooms, that we - the people from Poland - love.
@@ZyciewKanadzieAnitaBeataVlog that's a very famous joke in China .(红伞伞白杆杆,吃完一起躺板板,that warns you mushrooms must be fully cooked ) , so in Yunnan , all the mushrooms should be fully cooked or that will be illegal .
In the past, foreigners could not directly use ID cards like Chinese people when taking trains, because China has made rapid progress, so now foreigners can directly use passports instead of paper tickets when taking trains.
Relax and live a relaxed life. Don't think too much. When you first returned to China recently, your thoughts were too much, and some extreme thoughts were driving you around. I hope you don't think too much, open up your interests and thoughts, and live a relaxed life.
I had to look up Shaoxing to know where you were. It is always nice to visit with friends when traveling. I have not been to the Shanghai area. Maybe next trip. Nice video.
What an experience, the room is a bit too big for me to stay by myself, I would be scared. So tranquil!! I will want to stay there just for the experience but with more people in my room, any mosquitoes? I am super loved by the mosquitoes so anywhere close to water is scary for me, I stayed at a Chinese style hotel in Xian next to the park, that was like 15 years ago fancy hotel right in the middle of the city and there was like near a lake, most high end hotels are fair better than the ones in the West, I stayed at the Ritz in Europe and it doesn’t feel that special, for the price point u get a better deal in Asia especially China

Was thinking go to China Feb 2024. But, the airfares from SFO to Hong Kong on premium econ is like $2500.00! It costed $1100.00 back in 2019! This is too expensive! Hopefully Singapore airlines will have better deal on Black Friday. I will take a long route to Hong Kong if I can get discounted tickets😄
That is because everybody is saying on the internet that country is now officially the world’s most hated country on earth. I don’t think that is a true statement although the entire world’s media is literally tearing them up apart left right top down center like hell daily. Really pity them
Excellent resort hotel worth $800 per night. May be no European (white people) in sight, but for sure many Asian tourist like Japanese, Korean, Indonesian...they blend well with local. The reason less European tourist because their economic are in bad shape and Air line is so expensive. I used to get cheap flight from North America for about $700 return, now I just paid $2400 return ticket to Shanghai, here I come to China in next month.
Here in San Francisco, it took the government over 2 years working on 19th Ave road constructions and replacing the water and sewage pipes. It is still not done now and will take another year probably. They are blocking traffic everyday. It would take them 100 years to move the traditional building to another place.
So, you have a wonderful time traveling in China. As a foreigner, how do you purchase train tickets online, pay for Didi Taxi, and eat at restaurants? Do you have WeChat Pay or AliPay to facilitate your phone payment? How do foreigners traveling in China for a few weeks open a bank account, get a phone number, and tie them to WeChat?
In Shanghai, there is a hotel of the same type, higher class than this one, a real luxury hotel, Aman Hotel, which is also more than double the price of this one.
China is beautiful Country, nice people and well developed City beside, country side. But, most of Chinese people need grow more. Also, manners etc. May need another 15 years to become first Citizen in the World.
But a lots of HK people and children go to travel in China right now after 3 years! Most foreigners haven't go to trip in China right now and is a lot of HK and Macau tourist than the foreigners (including Taiwan).travel to China.
1. Flight cost is three times more expensive than the time before the COVID. 2. Foreigners can't use phone payment system will make everything much more difficult in China. 3. Only limited hotels in the city can allow foreigners to stay.
1. More high speed trains are available than the time before covid. 2. Cash has to be accepted by law, foreigners can always use cash, if rejected, you can file a complaint, the merchants who refused to take cash will be penalized. 3 You’re right, not all hotels want to increase their costs to get the license to serve foreigners, it requires those hotels to maintain higher standard of safety and hygiene. Decades ago, many better hotels didn’t allow local people to stay, but that changed as the economy grows and local people started to have the ability to pay.
Hotels are a big problem now. I used to book anyway and they always ignored fact that I am foreigner. Then recently they don't allow to stay in hotels at all. I tried old trick few times, but they will cancel anyway. Seems punishment is too high for hosting a foreigner. So, either I need to stay in a tent or on a park bench, or need to plan my trip so that before night time I can get back to some big city.
I heard starting from July 1st 2023, WeChat started to allow foreign bank accounts link to WeChat pay, not sure how that works since it’s only a few days from July 1st.
nonsense title. which village did you come from? It is far safer than most of its neigbour countries, East Europe, Africa, Latin, many parts of US, some places of UK,...... So many tourists been to China and still not enough time to travel around huge China places with massive cultures.
@@KajaKubicka too expensive ,much more than i expected. my home town is shaoxing,if had u contacted with me early, maybe u could get it at a lower price.
she just happens to end up somewhere that they speak perfect english and they serve food like retired dictator mouth feeders. the area has also been populated by birds probably to please jingpings ears.
The United States came to China's door from such a far distance to fan the flames and ask other countries to provoke war, and Japan and the United States had to bear all the responsibility.
Not nobody but def less than should - China is gonna start to run major tourism campaigns now that their infrastructure can support it & they want the revenue & positive media
