This explains so much about my family. My great-grandfather came from Norway and we still do a lot of Norwegian things. Taco nights, pizza, Seinfeld, Donald Duck, not sitting next to people on the bus, it all makes sense now! 😆

I would like to say that I am a friend to Norway! Though I'm not as talented as Bruce Springsteen, or as dry as Jerry Seinfeld, or glamorous as Diana Ross (a true queen) I think Norway is wonderful and I support my favorite Norwegians always!
So much love for Norway, my grandfathers most beloved partner was Norwegian and he was a pilot for Pan Am (he was South African, not American) Norway was his favourite part of the world besides Oceania. Then my Dad (American) visted by himself in 1971 and loved it, had a good time with the people and the land, made friends but lost contact. Im going to visit Norway in the future and pay my respects and go to the beautiful majestic fjords and eat fresh seafood. I admire the introverted and low-key way of life. And that brown cheese… if I moved from the US it would be to British Columbia, New Zealand or Norway 🪷🐚🌲🏔

Being a Californian and having visited Norway 6 times, the most recent time I brought my super friendly 7kg Boston Terrier dog. What a difference in the Norwegians I met!!! Norwegians are so friendly and outgoing with dogs. Nick Nack would run up to strangers to give doggy kisses and people would show all kinds of affection. Norwegians even spoke 'baby talk' to him. I was so impressed!

There are more Norwegian Americans in the USA than there are Norwegians in Norway. My grandparents moved to the USA from Norway- I grew up hearing people speaking in Norwegian & all about Norway. Glad you enjoy Bruce Springsteen & Pepsi! We just love Jerry Seinfeld too!!!!!! ☮️❤️☮️❤️
When you mentioned Dynasty it brought old memories from childhood - I was grounded and not allowed to watch Dynasty with my family, but at some point my parents rushed into my room to tell me I must immediately come to the living room, because Alexis and Crystal are fighting and I must see it - I remember a lot of boxes with sequins and buttons being crushed 😂
American culture has hugely influenced Canadian culture, we're siblings basically raised in the same house. Seinfeld was hugely influential here and so was the Nanny. Alot of Canadians that were raised on those shows and are now in their 30s use Yiddish words regularly even when we're not Jewish by any means. We're just a generation raised by NY Jewish comics on TV.

I cant talk for the whole 50 state of the USA but I'm from Minnesota and I know about Norway from always being told my grand parents were from Norway...We also have the Viking football team an have heard a lot about the Nordic Vikings. And I do love Pepsi and I hate spiders and snakes scared of being to high up as you mentioned in another video.

No - The wealthies lives in taxe free part of Greece. Otherwise you live well as rich in Norway. 3 of the 10 richest people in the world under the age of 30 come from Norway and live well here.

I was seriously feeling down because Ronald and Madds hadn’t posted in awhile but with this I feel much much better. I think once the pandemic is over, Ronald and Madds should visit America and post when and what cities. Donald Duck? Pepsi Max? Yikes. I live in Denver, Colorado, and “Dynasty” was, theoretically, the place where the Carrington family’s shenanigans took place. I say theoretically as - except for the opening credits - nothing shown was from Denver. We may have our fair share of very wealthy people but the enormous homes shown on “Dynasty” were located in California. All the gay bars here would have viewing parties when the show was first aired. Joan Collins, aka Alexis Carrington Colby Dexter was, and is, a diva of legendary status.
We watch a lot of Japanese anime. We where the first Western country to massively import them, back in the 70's. Did you get a bunch of those too during your childhood in Norway? I grew up in the 80's and my media diet was pretty much only American live action stuff and Japanese cartoons. Good times!

I lived in Italy in 1958. They had all the Disney comics, but with their own story-writers (and in Italian of course). They loved Donald Duck. Scrooge was also more popular than in the US. Huey, Dewey and Louie were Qui, Qua and Quo.
Definitely these are things I wouldn't have guessed about Norway so very insightful! Just found out from my DNA test that I'm 3% Norwegian ancestry (ancient viking ancestors not any recent ancestry) so if I ever become famous, I promise to give a shout-out to Norway. 😆
The moment I run out of Pepsi Max it's a sad moment... until 5 minutes later when I go out and buy some more xD I definitely do my part of the statistics. The Donald Duck magazines are very nostalgic to me as I used to read them at my grandmother's cabin in the mountains and she had binders on binders filled with the whole series. Seinfeld is an absolute classic. True/Stereotypical Norwegian right here :')
