Ex hairdresser here too - and I love going to the salon! Although, I have to say that I always end up having to "fix" it when I get home! Why do all stylists cut more off one side than the other? Drives me nuts, so always have to fix that (and - how come they never show you the back any more?) Glad you painted the cupboards.

Hello, Margaret! I'm glad you weathered that horrible storm. I thought of you when I saw the news reports of storm damage in your area. Glad you're OK! I used to cut my own hair back when feathering the sides a.k.a. Farrah Fawcett was popular. I have a pixie cut now and have been sooo tempted to try to cut it myself. I don't like the way the hairdressers cut it. I want it to be an old-fashioned pixie cut but they seem to want to cut it in a boy style that I don't like. I went back to the salon once and had them do it over again but they still cut in layers that don't blend. One of these days I'm going to get tired of it and grab the scissors and give it a go myself. It's so hard to get an appointment with a good salon here. They have their regular clients and don't have time for new people. So I end up going to one of those chain haircutting places and I'm never happy with how they cut it. I'm sure I can blend in the layers if I get up the nerve to try. We had our first snowstorm yesterday and lots of accidents. I stay off the roads when it gets nasty. I trust my own driving but I don't trust the other people on the road when it's snowy and slippery. Went out and ran errands this morning. It's cold but we only have an inch or two of snow on the ground. The temperature is rising and it's melting away. Fine with me! I'm not a fan of winter. Enjoy your day, Margaret! See you next time!
Thanks for writing. You can probably cut your hair as well as many stylists. They have no idea what a real pixie is. If you do go to a salon BRING A PICTURE of what you want it to look like. That’s the only way you may get close to what you want. Stay safe.

I agree! I'm not walking on eggs anymore. They're adults and just need to learn to deal with it. Not that I'm nasty and rude, but I'm not holding everything back like I used to. I mean, get a backbone already! LOL!
My hair is long, I attempted to trim the length a couple months ago, grrr. But everytime I go to the salon and tell them to ONLY TRIM 2” they chop of 4-6 inches. Does the mousse work on long, straight fine hair in giving volume? If so, then I for sure will be purchasing one. I do like Kenra products. Thank you for showing us u cutting your hair. I couldn’t help but lol about the glob of mousse on your back. Only you Margaret. Can’t wait to see the finished cabinet doors.

Welcome aboard! I have mentioned Vaseline before, never in depth. I do not have dry skin except for a couple of cold winter months. Vaseline is a great moisturizer and SO inexpensive, I only need a tiny dab to do my face, forehead and throat. Really minuscule amount. Doesn’t affect makeup at all. Hope that helps. Merry Christmas!

Hi correct me if I’m wrong 🤪 but while watching you put concealer etc on your face did you forget your nose? Maybe I’m paranoid about mine 😬 but I always put something on mine ! Otherwise you looked great, & hair cut great as well 🙂
I don’t use concealer just what ever I put on my face eg. I’m using BB cream with spf 50 & lightly tinted , seems to do the trick of hiding my red veins & flushing 😊
Your energy is contagious. But i don't want to paint anymore. Burned out. I love hair mousse too. I like Bumble and Bumble hair products for curly hair. Little goes a long way for me. Do you watch a hairdresser named Brad Mondo on RU-vid? Hysterical.
I've cut it before but my throids got off now it's so thin and straight I have let it grow out some and don't know if I want it cut or not, thank you so much love your videos@@MargaretbeingMargaret
