I’m born and raised in Ohio, it’s pretty good. We have all 4 seasons and a lot of suburban areas so it’s great to raise a family (if you find the right area). Also we travel a lot so there will always be someone else from Ohio that you will meet wherever you go on a vacation.

I live in Gibsonburg, small town surrounded by corn and woods. It's really not bad and everyone pretty much knows everyone, sports is about the best attraction here. But we do have the 9/11 memorial at our park in town. And we used to be the number one limestone provider in the world 😄

The actual first prototype flight all happend in Ohio. It lasted 45 seconds. But they needed more wind so they did there final test flights in North Carolina. Thats why they try to claim first in flight which is wrong.

Born and raised in Ohio, its in my blood forever. People are generally friendly and tend not to push political views on you. Lived in a few others states, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida.. prefer Ohio overall. Only bad thing, the weather is quite fickle.

Funny story, I actually lived in Oakwood for a while, and near Ashleys donut shop, I got to see the Wright brothers mansion, at the time I heard they were turning it into a museam, I only now realize how lucky I was to be able to see it every day when I went to get a donut or came from school. Ohio got even better once Kasich left office. About 1900, the Wright bros. wrote a letter to D.C. asking the Weather Service where the top 10 windiest locations are in the USA. They had finished their "gliding" experiments and were taking the next step. The Service responded with the top 10. 9 of which were west of the Mississippi River. TOO FAR! 1 location was Kill Devil Hill, NC. So off to NC for the brothers. So, north Carolina's claim to fame is entirely dependent on the fact that they are closer to Dayton,Ohio than 9 locations out west. What an accomplishment, North Carolina.
