Why Ola's Co-Founder does not believe in work-life balance 

He is indirectly saying he doesn't want to pay his employees and wants them to work like donkies.

I don't know what he does working 20 hours a day, ola is still a pathetic app.

When will the CEO/ Upper mngmt people realize that they work 20 hr a day because the pay/rewards structure for the risks they took is paying rich dividends. People have different priorities. Most never get a chance and other choose not to take huge risks in life because they have too many people depending on them. Perhaps, one failure could derail a family. Many could be trying to make ends meet by working for an employer because their priorities are different. Their priorities mean that they cannot and will not work for you 24x7.

There is a difference between working 20hrs for yourself and 20hrs for someone else. He wants others to work hard for him to reap maximum rewards. If he is that firm believer why can't he work similar jobs to that offered in his company or elsewhere company puri hekdi nikal jayegi , he wont even get any compensation for working 20hrs and 7 days a week.

If you pay your employees well enough and not give them any mental pressure they'll work happily for more than 8-9 hours, I started my career as a assistant technician at a 4 wheeler showroom, the timing was 9 to 6:30 some times 7:30 and the salary was 6000, my senior's salary was 12000 and the experienced technician's 14000. Even some times we had to come on sunday's. We used to work non-stop, still we were not getting any appreciation nor leaves easily. Nobody thinks about automobile service industry because there's less demand because the supply is more. Just for experience we had to work like slaves. And you casually say you don't agree with work life balance.

It's not proper WL Balance. It doesn't mean whoever works long hours are more productive or whoever works less hours are not productive! There are people who focus well and finish work quickly and some diverts and works slowly longer. Everything is about priority amd whatever one finds it priority, will give time and attention to it!!

Hire someone and upload a minimum of 16 hours of footage per day. Let's see it. Even the necessary tasks can be completed in 13 to 16 hours max. Human brains need rest; if you're working 20 hours a day, the task probably isn't that mentally demanding. It's impossible to work productively and effectively for 20 hours a day over a long period. If you are working for long hours means you are incapable to complete job in right time. In Europe there is work life balance, it is not a concept but a way of life, they are happy and healthy

Any team consists of different personalities and not everyone in a team can be a team leader. It’s good to have leadership qualities for eveyone in the team, but to make a team work not everyone can be a team leader or an entrepreneur. If I’m a founder of a company even I would probably spend all my time working but please don’t expect employees who work for you to fill in varied roles and responsibilities to invest the same amount of time a Founder would be motivated to put in. You are setting yourself for a rude awakening! Focus on motivating younger generation to improve productivity in the minimum working hours possible!
