Why only 0.01% of ALL GTA players have this trophy

I can relate to this big time I did the criminal mastermind original challenge with the OG heists without dying and my first attempt was on the final part of Pacific Standard. Literally parachuting off the bridge to get to the boat 30 seconds from the finish. Someone didn’t open their parachute. Livid

3:52 a tip for anyone doing this trophy: if you die immediately close application, this prevents the game from reseting your progress. keep in mind every teammate has to do this or they will lose their progress aswell. good luck

I feel that pain. I remember I did the 2-player one, got to the last mission like you guys did and then enemies spawned out of nowhere and killed me. I got so pissed, I didn't even bother playing the Doomsday Heist for a whole year and now, I want to try and do it again since it's the only trophy I have left to get for GTA on PS4.

This reminds me one day, I selected "random mission" on my phone (because I wanted to do a... random mission) and I joined the finale of the Doomsday Heist Act III. And the funny thing is that we actually made it (with only 2 or 3 retries). I guess the other ones who were playing this knew each other and I was the "random guy" ^^

Almost did the 2 player one on my 1st ever playthrough of it, only to die to the juggernaut on the first part of the final mission, he shot me through a solid object with a clapped hitbox while in cover. It was the only death in the whole run, even the hard part went cleanly, it still haunts me lol

Criminal Mastermind is pretty much a platinum trophy by itself for non-playstation folk: platinum trophies are achievements you earn for collecting every achievement in a game

I done this ages ago and it was so annoying because it would bug out some times and the award wouldn’t progress after completing a mission so we had to restart it all. Best to get the wind farm facility as it’s kinda close to all the missions and all the final heist. I thought the elite challenge achievement was a lot harder to complete than this one because you have to rush the heist and rushing it kills you a lot.

i've done the old heits criminal master mind a few times with many friends and it's pretty consistent, but the doomsday heist is rng, at any point any npc can do a "death burst"and i'll be insta killed... sucks that this "feature" never was fixed

I have yet to complete the 3 player and 4 player CM because I still can't find 2 people that can endure hours or trial and error, but playing it with a friend is already hard on its own. We looked up multiple guides and had to do dry runs with hacking and trying multiple vehicles to make sure we got the best time heading into the first checkpoint of each finale.

If someone dies, all the players can close their game as quickly as possible. It can prevent your progress from being reset

On PS4 you can close the game if a player dies, preventing your progress from being reset, but I don't know if that works on Xbox too. I got this achievement a few years ago, subbed to see you get it too!

i did the original cmm challenge with a friend like 5-10 times. we were pretty good at this so we figured we could help people while taking in exchange the big cuts. the other 2 would get the 10mil obviously. during the challenges we met a decent amount of good people.

When my crew was doing the Khanjali setup one of them got shot so we closed the app and only two of use had our progress saved sadly. We still finished the challenge but those 2 lost their progress 😢.

I think that this is very hard but I think becoming vinewoods biggest star (gta platinum) is more time consuming.

Using any explosives in the rocket silo is straight up suicide, let alone using grenade launchers, whose grenades always bounce back to you in closed areas 💀💀💀

No one I’ve seen doing the first prep for first act of doomsday heist, has done it properly. You can literally exit your bunker and call 911 for an ambulance and it’ll come and you don’t have to waist time

To be honest when I was doing this the hardest thing was finding the people but luckily I found people who wanted to do this

Here's something you didn't know, you can call 911 to call an ambulance, and it will come to you, so you can stand outside your facility, wait for the ambulance and finish the prep in 1 minute And you can eat snacks and put on armor when your weapon wheel is open

I’m rank 560, played on and off for 9 years and I have everything in the game, and with 150 million in the bank from just grinding the game, done OG criminal mastermind and all elite challenges for all the heists in the game, even completed all story mode trophies and stuck at 98%, I’m just missing The Doomsday Heist Criminal Mastermind. I’ve attempted it in the past but it randomly resets my challenge for no reason and nobody died either. Nobody is daring enough to try this. It’s not hard at all, and I enjoy doomsday but finding people to do it is just as hard. This is the only thing I have left to do and after getting this mastermind done, I can peacefully retire from GTA 5, and just wait for GTA 6.

This is the reason why they put this achievement in place because stupidity can randomly occur anytime

today I tried to find 3 people to a heist. steam online 180,000 players in GTA 5. in 20 minutes I could not gather three people for a heist - people don’t want to do this - that’s the main difficulty of this achievement, its uninterestingness and the reluctance of people to act together

The achievement would be easy if these heists weren't bugged into oblivion, constantly resetting your progress even if nobody is dying.

Coincidentally I got this trophy 2 days ago. It’s really hard and it takes about 8 h 25 m (to me and my team ) to finish it but the real reason why no one bothers with it is it’s because it’s buggy as shot … it randomly reset on you for no reason or if you fail a mission wether dying or not it also reset it accidentally or the worst bug of all… NOT PROGRESSING at all… it happened to 1 of 4 of us at the end… it stayed 27/29 while others reached 28/29. He was so nice of him to finish it for us .. he didn’t get it… keep in mind these bugs been existed since the dlc release pretty much but R* are busy counting them dollars to fix anything…

mate u need to do all the other heist whith the same crew and whithout getting killed aswell

This and elitist are the only trophies I've yet to get, mainly because I really don't feel like attempting criminal mastermind all for a simple 100% next to my gta 5 platinum

currently doing this on PS5 after finishing all other trophies including the platinum. I'm starting to realise that some people really don't understand how grenades bounce.

This challenge is IMPOSSIBLE without a solid communication between all 4 players. The best chances would be if all 4 are in the same room. Also if you die is best to quickly turn off the game. A dedicated program is a must have so you just press 2 keys and the game is instantly killed from Task Manager. For console players idk. I remember it took me a week to finish Criminal Mastermind on the first 5 heists. You always have to stock up snacks and body armor and is best if all players have high skills and are above lvl 130

You don't need to restart when you die if you instantly end your game
