I wonder if the reason Bobby Green, and fighter like Anderson Silva in the past have had a decline in reaction speed is less age and moreso the accumulation of blows to the head. It’s a fact that blows to the head and concussions decrease reaction speed, that’s part of what’s tested for with concussion tests they do in HS if you do a contact sport. I wonder what the ratio is between age and head trauma for the decline. I also wonder if this makes every fighters career even more of a race against time
for most fighters age is bigger contribution. look at max fo example, he has absorbed most amount of strikes in ufc, despite that he has fast reaction time and is still in his prime
Paddys fight camps are actually fat camps. Spends so much time losing weight and so little time improving his skills. Paddy is big and athletic, but that can only get you so far. Its only a matter of time before he gets exposed. He spent his whole career crushing cans, barely won against Jared (but not really), and couldnt even finish a washed up Tony. Bobby stands a very good chance of winning. If, by any chance Paddy beats Bobby, they need to feed him to Michael Chandler while hes sitting out waiting McGregor.

There are two additional factors that might favor Paddy here. 1. He's got a granite chin and Green is mostly a volume puncher. If Paddy uses this to close the distance, similar to his fight with Tony, he might dominate with takedowns. 2. Green's defense is mostly head movement and Paddy's best strike is his middle kick. I could see him throwing sloppy punches, Bobby slipping and Paddy blasting his ribcage with kicks.

The Answer should be a fairly easy Yes if we're talking about 40 year old Miller. I think Miller wouldn't fair any better than Tony Ferguson did, Just like Miller barely faired any better against Green. Paddy has all the Tools Miller Lost: power, Speed,Youth and Size is definitely on his side. Miller may or may not have a slight edge in Grappling and has an Edge in Technique but not big enough to make an impact
I think one of them is getting ko'd, forgot who Green flatlined recently but I can see him doing that to Paddy. I can also see the arrogance of Green letting his guard down and getting himself ko'd.
For all people out there if you think paddy is gonna improve please root for another fighter. On his debut in the ufc, bisping told him his weakness on the post fight interview and to this day it's still the same and it's like 3 years ago.
