The real reason why PP hates Nightsisters is because they wield a power that he doesn’t understand and the fact that they don’t use it to dominate the galaxy and build an empire of their own to take over. They actually care about their people and don’t use their family and sacrifice them unlike him.

The Nightsisters were able to wield the Force and specifically the dark side in a very cool and interesting manner. People forget that when it comes to the Force just like any skill you want to practice, it takes time to truly master it. Mother Talzin has obviously put forth the time and energy into her craft, which is why she was so revered and was the clan mother.

Ambitions are make the Sith who they are, and what drives them to dive deep in the Dark Side, but the Nightsisters are a deep mockery to the Sith for they settle for tradition rather than pursue power.

Well he really have it against Talzin as a rival, as in her height she rivaled Palpatine in power, and the Nightsisters, for their magic and grey mastery of the Dark Side, and how their power is through connecting to the environment, especially their homeworld Dathomir where they’re their strongest Palpatine worried they’ll be rivals right his plan and tried ri remove them from Clone Wars, while making use of Nightbrother Darth Maul, and for a time allowed Nightsister Asajj Ventress to be Acolyte of Darth Z Tyranus, but ultimately saw her as a rival for her potential and tried removing her by forcing Dooku to break the relationship

After this Ahsoka episode added to their lore I’m interested to see a little more of their philosophy (Spoiler for Ahsoka ep.6) seeing as how they travelled between Galaxies I wonder why they hold back from their full potential in galactic affairs

They were rightfully cautious, IMO. They give off a weird vibe that undoubtedly causes a discomfort in most leaving them susceptible to mass attacks. Can see it within Shin on Ashoka & isn't hard to envision. ... They're taught to hide & stay close to home for a reason. One of those situations where they did what they could with the hand they were dealt.

Sith Alchemy vs NightSister Majik which is the more potent? Just to think, if Mother Talzin threw away her conservatism and fully embraced the way of the Sith to be Sidious’s apprentice, combining her knowledge of Majik and the DarkSide of the force she would’ve been a real force to be reckon with….Sidious himself nor Yoda would’ve stood up to her if she unlocked her greater potential.

Nightsisters are unique in every way using the Force.They're so powerful,they have so unique powers. And they do nothing with them. Understandable Jedi and Sith fear them. And why Sidious hates them. I think they could rule the galaxy. May the Force be with you too😊

If the Night sisters decided to expand their influence they would have been snuffed out quickly. The jedi would see their expansion as hostility and the Sith would see them as rivals. The jedi backed with republic troops would decimate and scatter the Night sister forces and Sidious would pick of the stragglers.

Considering Palpatine's Reign didn't last that long.... pretty much every other dark side system lasted longer even if it had more infighting.

Mother Talzin and the Night sisters of Dathomir would've ruled the Galaxy if they took out Palpatine.

From the first moment I saw her in the original Clone Wars Micro series, I've been in love with Asajj Ventress. Her story is somewhat derivative among the ranks of the Jedi but I found it and her interesting as well - still not sure how she wasn't able to get hold of some kind of transceiver or radio to contact the Republic or the Jedi Temple after she lost her master, but there's probably some details I'm missing. However, once I learned she was a member of the Night Sisters I was even more enthralled and intrigued. I love most everything about them, especially Mother Talzin, but I'm justifiably miffed at how they have been portrayed in the Star Wars Universe. I've missed some of her comic book appearances as well as other sources of information but I really hoped for more for the Night Sisters in general, particularly during the Clone Wars and it was sad to see them so easily handled by Dooku, Grievous and their clanker thugs. Now it's good to see them represented once again in the Ahsoka series and hopefully they will gain some magnitude of power and intimidation in the galaxy, but only time and Dave Filoni will tell.

The Nightsisters are not power-hungry and genuinely serve the Force (close to the Dark Side) in a way and value tradition over power. I wonder if Ajunta Pall would have wished the Sith Order were more like the Nightsisters instead of power-hungry political warlords. Marka Ragnos and his predecessors did so, but his successors did not. The legacy of the Sith will always be shaped by the actions of Naga Sadow and the one who succeeded in his ambitions, the Sith Emperor Darth Vitiate. However, Vitiate became disillusioned with the Sith Empire, causing his defection to build the Eternal Empire of Zakuul, the Knights of Zakuul (Neutral Force Users), and the Eternal Fleet. Then came Darth Bane and the Rule of Two.

I've been catching up with the High Republic books and comics lately and now I wonder how the Path/Nihil would react to the Nightsisters....

Yeah Palpatine not putting his hate aside to be able to work with the night sisters is deeply frustrating to me. Their terms are quite acceptable and the boons they’d have brought to sidious’s grand plan would have been greatly appreciated, hell even helped the sith thrive.

Now with the Ahsoka show expanding on the the night sister’s lineage, I have a theory. So with the mortis gods I’m thinking the daughter gives light side force users a certain access to her power and vice versa with the Son and dark side force abilities. So I’m thinking with night sister magic it comes from the Mother. Cause the Mother was said to be more powerful than all three gods. And sense the Mother is a dark side god that’s why the night sister’s magic is considered the dark side of the force. But sense the Mother drank and bathed in both force nexus the night sister’s magic might be part light side part dark side.

Despite the flaws of the nightsisters they don't have the flaw of infighting that the sith have so they are doing something right a society focused around 2 people can never survive the sith order will always be doomed to fall the nightsisters could survive the passage of time unlike with the stupid self destruction ideals of sith

Ironic how the Nightsisters were nearly wiped out by a lack of ambition while Sidious was defeated by too much of it.

Palpatine played both sides from the very start he used the nightsiters and took over tbe galazy but in the end ended up being his own down fall was lots of his own plans coming back to stab him in the back

The night sisters were wise enough to know to not make the mistakes the sith makes every time.. the sith try to manipulate the dark and they end up deformed and crazy were the night sisters use the true essence of it and are strong minded enough not to be manipulated by the dark

I'd love to see some sort of what if story where naga sadow lost his bid to rule the sith empire and they became more isolationist and remained hidden from the republic but the nightsisters became more expansive and became the rivals to the jedi instead.

Notice how Cal Kestis is run through the Nightbrother test with Gorgara and kills him in Fallen Order. He was the strongest and he kept proving it over and over and in the end Merrin went with him. There is a reason everyone says their kid would be unstoppable.

Too much ambition, much like not enough is bad, if they had a middle ground, they would pose quite the threat to both Sith and Jedi orders.

Anyone who holds great power but doesn't use it to amass even greater power should be loathed .
