Pandavas never went to hell it was just a test taken by diety dharmraj to check yudhishthar kindness & knowledge of dharmaa .. & yudhisthir successfully passed the test then the truth was revealed to yudhisthir by dharmraaj & then they were all in heaven
Also the dog that followed him was the diety Dhramaraj or Yamadharma himself. He is also the father of Yudhishtira. After the test of hell was passed the dog transformed into Yamadharma and embraced his son for his virtues and welcomed him to swargaloka
Vijaya is the victory over material things, adversaries, external situations. Vijaya always leads to a situation when one person wins and the other loses, it's a 0 sum game. Pandavas fell one after another except the eldest one. By falling it means that their bodies can't keep up with the extremely difficult journey and they died. Not necessarily that they fell from the mountain
duryodhana went to heaven coz it was said anyone who die in the battlefield of kurukshetra would be elevated to heaven: a boon recieved by kuru dynasty from gods

The reason yudhistir went in hell is as yudhistir lied in the battlefield (Aswathama died but it was elephant) so he had to face hell for some time so gods decided to this way to send him there as they knew if he won't see his brothers in heaven he will probably even visit hell.

the point is to learn from this story and don't take everything in this story as facts. But yes all Pandavas had negative qualities within them, sure they had a lot of spiritual knowledge but it's very difficult to keep your ego in check and be gentle as a human being even after attaining such knowledge.. You have to understand there are many versions.. they aren't exactly fake but additions to the itihaasa .. but all of them acknowledge that they derived it from vyasa Mahabharata.. the original one any other story might be useful to teach something but not true.. this is one such story.
The account given by Sadhguru is what we have been listening since our childhood. But I also need more clarification on how Kuravas could make it to Swarg or heaven. I know there will be some logical explanations for that.

I would say to take everything sadhguru says with awareness that he claimed many time that he hasn’t read any books at all. His knowledge is from probably his previous lifetime, which can be verified by no one. Secondly, it’s logical to think that why will Krishna who himself says in geeta that he is everything, so he who knows everything, every part of infinite world, he pushed these Pandavas to hell through this war? No not possible. I know you guys are on path of spirituality, so evaluation before believing is more important aspect. Like Sita was defamed in Uttar Ramayan, by adding extra chapters later. Same they are doing to Pandavas. To even imagine Shakuni in heaven is shocking to me😂

There is Shambhavi mudra taught in Isha yoga, & many Isha followers claimed to me that it’s sadhguru’s USP. But actually since I am learning from another yoga school, I haven’t yet started doing it, but it’s quite a common yogic practice is what I am told, the way they advertise SPIROTUAL PRODUCTS is quite baffling to me in these few weeks. The yoga school I go to is local,one, it’s not a brand, and they have tradition of generations. So this isn’t new for sure. Also whenever I have seen his interviews, and someone asks about how he learnt, he says he learnt it while travelling, meeting ascetics. That’s not true, he was instructed in another meditation centre. Where he met his wife. So I might be wrong again. Please correct me anyone I. This comment section. But these observations are making me question his integrity towards his said mission.
Sadhguru himself has said what he teaches is a slightly modified verison of something that has existed for a long time. He basically modernized it so that it can be treansmitted in 3 days instead of one whole solar cycle.
This is a later story or like a regional folk tale based on MB. There are many in various parts of India and other countries too which were part of India during the age of Mahabharata.

I can't vouch for their accuracy but it's pretty much similar to what I have been told from my parents. They were all climbing highest peak of the mountain so because of the karma they did they fell off from the mountain. And yes felling off from the mountain means they are dead.
Please do not take all this seriously because these are not mentioned in any of the holy books or texts of Mahabharat. Draupadi was not like that. These are just tales not truth. You know Mahabharat happened 5000 years ago so it is enough time to cultivate new own made stories and added to it.

Whatever you do if done willingly that is your heaven . If it is done unwillingly that is your hell. Kauravas did believe whatever they were doing was right and did it willingly and found their heaven( in the mind ofcourse ) Pandavas knew what was right and wrong and tried to be right as much as possible but some things which they did wrong unwillingly became their hell( in the mind ofcourse ) though it was for a short period.
Karna vadha parva Chapter 1213(63) Brahma and Ishana spoke these words to the lord of the thirty gods. ‘The victory of the great-souled Vijaya is certain. He is spirited, powerful and brave. He is skilled in the use of weapons and is rich in austerities. Great energy is manifested in him, especially in dhanurveda. Through his greatness, he is capable of overcoming destiny. He is capable of controlling and overcoming the worlds. When the two Krishnas are angered, no one is capable of standing before them. Now this guy named jaggy guy is saying arjuna isn't best archer. Arjuna is the most powerful man during dwapara yuga. Thats why he's narottama, he is incarnation of Vishnu, narayana's nara. ‘Janardana then spoke to Partha, “You are mine and I am yours. All that is mine is yours too. He who hates you also hates me. He who follows you also follows me. O invincible one! You are Nara and I am Hari Narayana. O bull among the Bharata lineage! No one can know any difference that exists between us.” Chapter 310(13) Kairata parva So why Pandavas gone to hell?? They didn't, yudhishthira gone as a part of test. Can some one really imagine what would happen when chithragupta or yama touch arjuna?? Krishna will come, no one will do anything. Yama himself is greatest maha Bhagwathothama. Krishna declared in Bhagwat gita that warriors die in battlefield attains heaven. While maithili took Arjuna into space Arjuna wondered why there is so many brilliant celestial bodies, he saw people blazing, so maithili told him they all are those who stopped eating flesh, who stopped gambling, who are brave in battle, he also said people who run away from war will never see these Worlds. Kouravas were fools but were brave, even karna was coward that he ran away from even chithrasena, but at the end he stood up and fought and died, so he prove he's brave. They died infront of krishna by the arrows of arjuna, so they will surely attain heaven.
You confused you may thought Pandavas only 5 numbers actully, Kunthi(Pandavas mother) has 6 sons, the elder son Karna, as the rules what she said to Pandavas after marriage Droupathi and reached to the home, Pandavas said to Kunthi,we have a gift but unfortunately Kunthi only hear that didn't see what was the gift, and also said share it, it was shoked share droupathi for 5 numbers, as the rule Karna included but didn't live with Karna, may be this was the fact that Droupathi said
After Krishna's death Pandavs and Draupadi loses their interests in worldly matters and goes deep in a YOGA to prepare for death. They chose Mount Meru to reach their destination. While trekking , the first one to fall is DRAUPADI , then SAHADEV , then NAKUL , then ARJUN, then BHIMA and Yudhishthir goes to heaven (with his mortal body, ALIVE) Yudhishthir goes to heaven and searches for Draupadi, his brothers (including Karna), his sons, warriors like Drona, Bhishm etc. He didn't find them in heaven but he found Duryodhan and kauravs welcoming him there. His anger knew no bounds, he complains to Indra,"Where are my brothers, my elders, my sons , Dhrishtadyumna, King Virat and Panchali ? Why am I seeing this Adharmi devil here ? Where are they ?" "Take me to them. I will live where they are. I don't want pleasures of heaven !" Indra agrees and asks a gandharv to take Yudhishthir to the place where Yudhishthir's loved ones are. Yudhishthir reaches a horrible place. That place was stinking with bad smell, smell was like of a rotting flesh. He wondered,"Is this the place where my loved ones are living ? What Adharm did they do ? What is their fault ? How can then Duryodhan deserve a place in heaven ?" From all sides he heard shouts , "Oh Yudhishthir the just ! Please help us ! We never felt you anywhere ! Don't leave us please ! Please help us !" Yudhishthir enquired,"Who are you ?" Replies came from all the ten sides " I am Karna!’ ‘I am Bhimasena!’ ‘I am Arjuna!’ ‘I am Nakula!’ ‘I am Sahadeva!’ ‘I am Dhrishtadyumna!’ ‘I am Draupadi!’ ‘We are the sons of Draupadi! " Yudhishthir was red with rage ! "How can the Gods be so curel ?". All gods came there to see Yudhishthir....Yidhishthir told them his complains... Yudhishthir told all his complains to Indra, Dharm devta. But then Black sky, which was above him dissapeared , and rays fell on him. Those screaming voices disappeared,that smell vanished and pleasing smell of flowers covered Yudhishthir. "What is happening ?" - Yudhishthir thought. Yamadev said ," Son, i am proud of you. All this was only an illusion son, this is only because of your half lie that you had to suffer sadness and pain. O king, neither Arjuna, nor Bhima, nor any of those foremost of men, viz., the twins, nor Karna could be deserving of Hell for a long time. The princess Krishna (Draupadi) too, O Yudhishthira, could not be deserving of that place of sinners. Come, come, O foremost one of the Bharatas, behold Ganga who spreads her current over the three worlds.’ Thus Yudhishthir went inside river Ganga and took 3 dips and left his mortal body. He became purified. Now Yudhishthir was ready to go to greatest abode of this universe, the Vaikunth.. He saw Lord Vishnu. Then he saw Arjun who was near Govind. Arjun has reached VISHNULOK.He adorned his brothers and sons. He met Draupadi too.King Pandu was also united with his Sons and Wives. Then Lord Shakra, the deities of the lords, addressed him and said that a person does both deeds good and bad, The person who does many good deeds, first goes to hell for some time duration and then is sent to heaven. A person who has done more bad deeds, gets a glimpse of heaven and is then sent to Hell for the rest of his time. From this he explained that he and his brothers for the bad deeds they had done, got to suffer a little in hell, even Karna had returned with them and now was in heaven alongside lord Surya. Coming to my views:- As we know Lord Krishna in Geeta has explained that we all are atma and he, lord himself is parmatma, the atma travells around the world taking different births until it finally is able to become a part of Parmatma. This journey continues until we ourselves are able to achieve the lord himself. So Kauravas got to taste heaven for a brief period of time, the deeds they did were too bad to get them to stay in heaven off course, they were sent to hell afterwards. The little good deeds that they would have ever done saved them. One thing we can say for sure is that Yudhishthira never for once failed the tests of the Gods, he came through everything using his wisdom and truthfulness. But I agree with Lord Narad's opinions too, what animosity lies even after death. Why should grudges be held against a person who has already been punished brutally for his deeds by killing him in a very painful way. Duryodhan living in heaven for a brief period of time was what he deserved, Yudhishthira holding grudges is just an example of human behaviour. The reason I consider Mahabharat complete. It has the emotions of real people. Instead of idealisms. It's not easy to forgive anyone because of whom your family has suffered so much. Same thing happened with Yudhishthira. He couldn't forgive Duryodhana for his deeds. He left heaven for his family, shows his true love and dedication towards them, and once they all returned, he didn't care about any of the Kauravas, all he cared about was the Pandavas and the the deities present there. Seeking their blessings and enjoying the Heavenly life.
Karma is the reason. Kauravas did a lot of horrible things but they did some good things....pandavas have done soo many good things yet did some bad karmas. The reason why kauravas were in heaven is because the more they enjoy in heaven the good karmas they did washes off...so they'll be left with bad karmas only so then they can spend rest of the eternity in the hell. Same thing for pandavas...they wash off bad karmas in the hell first and then enjoy the eternity in heaven. And the dog along with dharma raj( yurhistir) was his dad in the form of dog. The story nerrated is not exact. Pandavas had to go through hell for a moment, because Yudhishthir mahraj didn't follow Krishnas order exactly as Krishna wanted. Krishna told him to tell a lie during war, but he was reluctant.
Truth is even yudhishthir went hell knowingly because whet Indra ask him he said I betted my wife once and I lied to my teacher and become cause of his death despite how righteous the causes are those are also sins.
This information is wrong. It was not like that. Draupadi was a sati who loved all 5 Pandavas but her only mistake was that she loved Arjuna more. And that Karna thing was wrong.

Yudhisthira faced hell for a moment only, because yudhisthira never told fale in his life, but in Mahabharata war, yudhisthira made fales statment to his guru, on Krisha advice, to win war. Due to that fals statment
Compare this narrative with the 80's cartoon Ulysses 31 episode 26. Ulysses is willing to remain in Hell unless his companions are freed. Because of this pious attitude, he and his companions are released and allowed to live again.
kauravas did not went to heaven.. but still did went to heaven.. it's just that kauravas paid their bad karmas by their painful deaths.. and bcz of the boon, they went to Indra's palace.. but if you think that there's no pain in heaven, then ask Indra himself, who heavenly palace has been attacked by demons several times.. heaven still is kind of materialistic land,, just like Asgard of Thor. Pandavas didn't pay anything for their bad karma.. so they paid it after their death.. Going to heaven (Indra's lok or palace) doesn't mean liberation.. and in the end, every soul goes to heaven, after fulfilling the payback of their karmas, some within the life and some after the life and some in both, every soul goes to heaven to take birth once again (depending on their deeds), and cycle goes on and on, until the soul gets enlightened and achieves moksha..
It was temporary, that Pandavas were in hell, and kouravas in heaven for a brief time. Then they went to their deserved places. Sadguru sometimes gives his own commentary and character judgements.
You need to know first that that duryodhana and shakuni did was things that was suppose to happen. Bad things , war ,etc all in sequence so that we get the teaching ,knowledge of what is actual dharma , krushna and ofcourse bhagwat geeta. If any small change in sequence that lead to war was changed the war could be avoided. So there was a little krushna consciousness involve in everyone . No matter from good side or bad. (I know it is little opposite of what is written in geeta. But it is like ravan was gatekeeper and great devotee of shree vishu and because of curses so was born on mortal realm as enemy of ram. So obviously he will be not punished after his death but return back to his position in vaikuntha.) So just stop thinking about that think . Even enemies of krushna has good karma past life to be even born in same period to see him. Just keep doing good deed without thinking of results.

Even though few stories can be real or just for learning lesson they are made up, but still learning is important for self. Also whem a human will face result 9f bad karma will be decided by nature

I am not sure what is the purpose of this show. Is it only to look at what Sadhguru said or is it meant to look into the truth of it. Do these people have proficiency in the scriptures? Are they there to guide or to establish the truth?
Whoever compiled the video from sadhguru did a very bad job. Giving people the idea that being like the pandavas will bring you to hell and being like the evil kaurava will give you heaven is so wrong ....Lord Krishna himself guided the pandavas, there is no way they would not attain moksha.
