Just ordered my endurance 3 and can’t wait for it to come. My Powerbeats were stolen and I was honestly gonna get another pair till I realized I was short on money. Searched for budget friendly ones and saw jbl had similar and knew to go for them just from the great reputation their speakers have.
I have both. I like earbuds that little hook hanger thingo and there aren’t a lot of options.I’ve had the Powerbeats for a few years and the battery in the right one craps out in under an hour now so I bought the jbls JBL is the better value all around. Better sound and better fit at a better price but the controls suck. The “button” on each earbud isn’t really a button and there isn’t any detent or nub you can find by feel and I miss the volume control on the beats. If jbl revised the design to add a volume rocker it would be the undisputed champ. It’s just frustrating how perfect they are to totally whiff on the interface.
Thank you for the video! I just purchased me a pair of the JBL Endurance Peak 3 earbuds. I had 2 pairs of Powerbeats Pro earbuds and they have a disappointing battery life and it lacks bass.
The one comment was kind of funny. He could buy two pairs of those basically bashing JBL when the beats pro is gonna last much longer it’s basically what he said, but you’d not get the equalizer or the base. excellent video. I just found that kind of funny but it was true.

I bought the JBL...Music is awesome bur when making a phone call, even though the recipient says great and no outside noise disturbances, on my end, I could barely hear the phonecall.....Volume is turned right up. What am I doing wrong, or do I need to take the JBL back and find something else? Thanks 👍
I have never experienced this problem but if you are I would contact JBL customer service see if they have a warranty and try to replace them through JBL first
I have the exact same powerbeats pro as you and i hate them! They take forever to connect to my iphone for some reason and the charging on them is an issue becuz the way they sit in the charging case they can easily disconnect if you mishandle them like they get knocked out of their base. I am really looking into the jbls especially becuz they are on sale for $79.99 right now.
what is the white noise and the sound of wind on the JBL endurance peak 3s? i cycle so i want to hear whats around me when im on the road but when i have tried earbuds before all i hear is the sound of wind when ambient aware is on. is this still an issue?
Honestly I don't know I brought them this winter haven't ran outside yet to test them in the wind when it's windy but I haven't had any white noise from my JBL endurance peak 3
I've had the pwerbeats pro jbl endurance peak 3 is a way better value over the powerbeats pro the sound on the power eats pro isn't as good as the endurance peak 3 but the case on the powerbeats pro is better quality software is good on both but I would say the endurance peak 3 is the much better option regardless of what phone you have I also have the powerbeats 3 is why I say the pb pro isn't that good in terms of sound quality the pros are a downgrade for sound quality they tried to balance the sound but didn't do a good job both pb 3 and pb pro have similar mids and highs but bass is much more on the pb 3 and you can still hear similar mids and highs as the pb pros both pb 3 and pb pros are muddy Nazily congested but pb 3 is simple and works well I just got the endurance peak 3 eq adjustable but these are not iem quality but value wise jbl is the winner to me and soundsa little better then the pb pros. Dont buy the powerbeats pro unless your a collector.
@@m.c.withtech6601 Is it possible to use each earbud individually? Like. I use one bud while the other is charging. Then when the one I'm using dies, I swap for the other one. Can these buds do that? Thanks in advance!
ive used the JBL endurance race earbuds. i gave then 3 trys where i sent them back to the seller for a new due to one side randomly getting static and going softer than the other side. i know it isnt the same earbuds that are mentioned in this video but has anyone had the same issue? i ended up changing from them to a sony wh-ch 720n and they work still perfectly fine almost a year after purchase. anyone ekse have the same problem with the endurance race?
I haven't had any problems with my endurance peak 3 in any way so I can't answer your question. But on the other hand sony makes great headphones and earbuds👍
I’m going to be honest here. I have tried both and these are not better than the Powerbeats pro. The controls are not good at all on the JBL. JBL is also not very comfortable. I also didn’t like the lack of bass despite having an equalizer that I felt was pretty much useless. The good thing was the ambient noise control, but that’s about it. With the Powerbeats currently coming in at $70 more expensive than the JBL, I am willing to pay that for more comfort, sound quality and easier control of the buttons.
