Sad but true, but people tend to prefer to watch videos where China is getting bashed than realizing that China is a place where you can go and have a happy life.
@@user-os7ps2bx4nI’ve been there and it’s pretty cool. One of my favorite countries to visit. Rich history, beautiful nature and modern cities. The only downside is the language barrier and the fact that I’m a Chinese adoptee. People would just start talking to me lol
No a lot of people do the first still, large majority even, it’s just the recorded accounts you’re seeing are the ones literally video recording on their account.
The title is actually related to the video content. Didn’t you watch the full video? She clearly mentioned China has very complicated immigration procedures for foreigners by stating that she had to find so many qr codes and present her passport so many times that she was late to dinner by 2 hours. That’s the reason and it’s completely related to the video title
There’s no clickbait?? The title says why people don’t travel to China, and in the video she clearly mentioned China has very complicated immigration procedures for foreigners by stating that she had to find so many qr codes and present her passport so many times that she was late to dinner by 2 hours.
She did mention the reason?? She said China has very complicated immigration procedures for foreigners by stating that she had to find so many qr codes and present her passport so many times that she was late to dinner by 2 hours. That’s the reason and it’s completely related to the video title
@@mac1bc that’s why people don’t travel to China, as in why other people, not herself. Even so, one can dislike the process of travelling to China but at the same time love China and being inside the country
Exactly my thoughts. If they rush through the airplane hallway filming themselves and other passengers while having a snobbish face; this tells me everything I need to know
my gf is working for a traveling company, and she always says China has the most tourists in Asia despite my country saying we are the no.1 tourist destination in Asia. I'm surprised but when i visited Shanghai, omg, so many foreigners, and so many Americans too. I'm very confused, i thought Americans don't like China.
@@ThePsychMaster i doubt it because a while ago i watched the news in Japan that said they only got 4 million tourists because the Chinese didn't visit them at the beginning of the year even though they hired 300 Chinese translators for them while China got about 30 million tourists, and the top country are S.korea, Japan, American.
She did. She mentioned China has very complicated immigration procedures for foreigners by stating that she had to find so many qr codes and present her passport so many times that she was late to dinner by 2 hours. That’s the reason and it’s completely related to the video title
I am from Saudi Arabia and have traveled to China 19 times because I love the atmosphere and positive vibes. I have explored most regions of China and have had almost no issues during my visits. However, I have encountered some frustrating experiences in EU airports, specifically in the Czech Republic, Germany, and France, where I faced long wait times. Despite repeated occurrences, I couldn't discern any logical reasons for such delays.
Hectic? I’ve visited China many times and got straight through the passport control very easily even though i can’t speak much Chinese. Try getting through Heathrow border control as a non British citizen that is hectic
The China haters are rushing with heartbeats and clicking on this video based on the description, but to find with disappointment. You're so cleverly mean. Thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful trip.
hahahahjaja😅 it's not that I hate Chinese literally. is just that after seeing this short vid my curiosity appeared shortly and after watching it. of course got disappointed and swape up my screen. and let's be honest. who would listen to this vid in such A ridiculous reason.
I’m not trying to be mean or anything but there is a lot of people traveling there like there is not really that millions of people I think like 1.5 or 1.4 billion people there in China but y’all can check if I was right or wrong just let me know and I’m also from China/hong kong and if y’all see this comment don’t be racist thank u.
China is not what you think it is. Some visit just one or more cities of china and say it’s very bad, but actually some places in china are REALLY good and some are not, so you can’t just say the WHOLE country is bad
I flew into China from Phuket in June and was in / out of the airport in under an hour despite my QR code having expired due to a flight delay. Not hectic in Kunming at all Wonderful China. Still here 3 months later
I had been to China twice, the western credits card wont work there, neither your email or any western app, unless you go prepare with a real vpn. The electrical outlets are not the same. Taxi driver or street people many can’t communicate in English. And if you are buying knockoffs be ready to bargain. These are reasons which deter some travellers.
I'm a native Chinese, and I see many foreign friends discussing Shanghai. Indeed, if you want to see China's most advanced cities, you should visit places like Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen. However, these areas have a high cost of living, and many things can be quite expensive. Many provinces in China have unique local specialties, especially when it comes to food. Virtually every province in China has its own regional cuisine. For example, Henan, Shanxi, and Sichuan all have distinctive dishes. I welcome you to come and visit China.
Imagine somebody making a video about a normal flight + airport experience. It’s like somebody highlights tooth brushing in the morning as a special event.
True. Even I worked in China for 9 years, returned to Hong Kong due to Covid till now, I didn't travel to mainland China again due to those annoying QR codes and quarantine. China is the only country which still carries out Covid quarantines at the airport or borders.
Who cares? Those who love China will come. If you dislike China and can't accommodate the local rules, then you are welcome to leave, nobody is stopping you. This is the same thing that happens everywhere in the world. What a giant crybaby. 😂
@@MilkShaikh Definitely more advanced lol. Chinas top cities are like Tokyo or New York. They have the worlds best high speed rail and leading the world in EV production. Shenzhen is like another silicon valley that created tech giants like Tiktok and Tencent. They have the second largest economy and most likely be the largest in a few years. Thailand is still a third world country that relies on China to build its infrastructure its not even close.
China is communist and socialist, but well liking a country is not necessarily liking the politics right ? And China politics has nothing to do with the old concept of communism that Western we know as it is. And when you go there, you don't feel communism oppression of whatever, you just live a normal life with a better security and very big convenience in daily life because China politics are mainly towards building infrastructure and services to improve the quality of life of his population
I learned recently that people are literally skimming oil out of the sewer and trash and filtering it just to use it again in cooking, so uh, maybe don't eat at any restaurants
Well the restaurant in the video has a view of the Shanghai skyline and you can tell it’s high end so it’s good. Plus, these incidents happened a few years ago in smaller cities, not a giant metropolis like Shanghai
Even tho travel to China can seem Ugh, but if your ultimate destination is Shanghai, you know that is a big reward in itself. Shanghai makes everything worth it
You forgot about the self registration process when you arrive at the airport. And afterwards you have to fill out a certain paper where you state the reason of your trip to China. It was very interesting and well organised whwn I was there.
guess what??? a lot of places have sh/t air. and seriously dude, no need to attack the food. i get china has a not amazing government, but that doesn’t mean you can or should put down the wonderful culture :)
@@bagel_blob6376nah it’s absolutely disgusting what they do with food over there. Nobody is shaming the culture unless you think having no morals is a part of it.
