Nope Yeah I sold the phone to one of youngsters in our locality just for 47k 90 (battery health)after seeing him abusing his parents for an iPhone I fell really good knowing I fulfilled a kids dream of buying iPhone and told him not to disrespect and emotionally abuse his parents again Currently I m using Samsung s22 and it’s not bad at all Man these youngster don’t know any full potential of each phone nor any software or hardware knowledge Buying costly phone just to take mirror selfie or show off

mera funda simple, dont do what most people doing, i did same with my career, everyone was doing JEE, IIT, UPSC etc etc, so i chose something unique career that not everyone doing, i watch movies series that most people r crazy about, i never follow trend bcos it makes me feel like a sheep in herd.

Till college, I used my elder sister's phone. After I got job only, I bought my own mobile with my own salary. It is a Samsung mobile worth 7k. My co-workers all have very expensive phones, all of them are above 15k and the two of them had Iphone. They often teased me for using a budget mobile. I never use mobile much because I am not active on any SNS and also I have no friends to chat with so no one calls or texts me. I only use Chrome and YT mostly on my phone and some shopping apps occasionally. Since there is no SNS, I don't take selfies often. So, I only use my phone for calling, listening music and surfing. And I never use phones while walking or traveling. I could never understand the addiction with the smartphone. P.S: FYI, I am a Gen-Z kid, but yeah, still not a phone addict.

I have a clear reason why this is happening. Its because of a majority of reasons like brand image and endorsement of the television. Now you will be wondering how television serials, its because tv shows like Anupamma or other popular tv serials potray themselves as humble but they have to show themselves as an icon. Problem is not with Rupali, its with the show. Now i imagine when introducing Anuj kapadia they showed him as rich but humble, he didnt purchase a phone for show off, he didnt purchase a mansion rather an apartment. Similar it was for Anupamma she had a phone that was resemlent to a flip phone or an older nokia phone but ever since Anupamma america scene she had carried arround an iphone 15 and its very evident. Even though she was working for Spice and Chutney she was less than middle class but the way she portrayed herself was she was poor but very powerful and stable actually before she earned the chef trophee. Now i understand that women power is necessary to be acknowleged but brand endorsing your values makes people feel your faking the actual value of the character potrayed. They couldve easily pushed Anupamma to buy a samsung or any other brand or even acknowledge she brought an iphone, but it was a very silent and clever marketing trick the showmakers did to endorse apple in a middle class characters values 😂
